Hotel in zona Mines View Observation Deck, Baguio

The hotel was good, the breakfast buffet was good but our room wasn’t sound Proof. We could hear the noise yelling from downstairs at night. We couldn’t sleep.

An enjoyable stay, staff were all friendly, room was comfortable with nice garden view. Buffet breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Location is good, away from the noisy downtown area and close to some sights such as Wright Park and Mines View. Only negative is that the hotel was always very busy with people and they could be heard from the room at night

We recently stayed for a night at Lee Boutique Hotel. The hotel is perched at the top of Baguio, offering a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, though this means it's a bit far from most main attractions. The accommodation itself was basic—adequate for a short stay but nothing particularly remarkable. However, the check-in and check-out process left room for improvement, as the reception was notably slow. Overall, it's a decent option for those seeking a more secluded spot in Baguio, but there are areas that could be enhanced to elevate the guest experience.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato di nuovo divertito a The Plaza Lodge. È stato anche qui l'anno scorso per il nostro ritiro annuale. In generale, i servizi sono buoni, tra cui lobby, caffè, camera, b-fast buffet e il loro servizio di navetta a pagamento. Tuttavia, la zona di bagno (di camera 611) deve essere fissata, poiché l'acqua si accumula sul pavimento e questo è un potenziale pericolo e causa di incidenti a causa dell'acqua stagnante sul pavimento. Whenever we go to Baguio, we always stay at Forest Lodge. Why do we keep coming back? Because they will always make you feel at home. Sometimes unexpected situations come up and that’s the time you will actually witness what cuts this hotel above the rest. I was recently diagnosed with asthma and since I wasn’t aware of all my triggers, I didn’t know that the fumes and the delicious smell from the kitchen would worsen my condition. Our rooms were close to the kitchen and I kept coughing so hard that my husband called the nurse. The manager (Neil Dominic), the nurse and the bellboy came to my rescue. They transferred us to a different floor in just a few minutes. The nurse checked my oxygen and even bought me my prescribed meds from the drugstore to make me feel better. After that, I was getting well already and yet, the manager and the nurse kept checking on us. They also told us that there is a standby shuttle ready to take us to the nearest hospital anytime. They delivered service beyond my expectations in such a short time. Our whole family feels we are really safe and well-taken cared of whenever we are there. Because of this, I will always call Forest Lodge my home in Baguio. Thank you so much for taking care of us during our stay there this Jan 2024. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Checking In: Swift and was able to check in 30 mins before 2 PM Room: About time for some renovation. The room I have booked has no view. Breakfast Buffet: Satisfying Checking Out: Took 10 minutes, they will check the room first. Overall: 4/5 Rating for me

We had an awesome stay! There was a grand production for their light show, with almost a theme park attractions except for the rides of course. There was a playground, some walk-through domes and practically the trees and plants were wearing their best suite. We had a blast witnessing everything around us. I have to add that for a moment I was confused where I was. The show was almost like watching America’s Got Talent, some parts were cheerdance competition and a shift to a musical. It was unexpected and it’s spectacular! The room had an old vibe but well-maintained. There’s espresso machine available that I personally enjoyed. I think this is a new addition. It’s convenient and the coffee was good enough. Next day, the breakfast area was setup really beautifully. We had a great experience. The spread was ample and wide-enough. Everything that we tried was udelicious. Even the in-room dining that we had for dinner was commendable. Our requests were promptly carried out too. The checkin and checkout both took a long time than our usual experience but you know the team was doing their best. Still a pleasant service. We couldn’t miss the decors for the season so even for just an overnight stay, we went to Manor like we always do. It turned out to be a memorable and most enjoyable one!

Our stay was great! It's not walking distance to the tourist spots but all of them are within the area and hailing a taxi is not a problem at all. We also prefer not to walk 😅 But if preferred, it's possible as everything is near the area! We tried their heated pool while it rained, and we really enjoyed it! Such an experience with a cold weather in Baguio! The breakfast buffet is awesome! We love everything and their menu differs per day! The original flavor taho, strawberry and ube are such a delight! I think the only missing is cereals. First time to eat strawberry champorado! 😁 At first I was hesitant if the room will have a fast wifi for me to work. Viola! The room as a router! I was able to work with ease! We love the smart TV -- you only need to sign in your own Netflix account. We love our room view. We don't have to go to SM to see the Baguio city lights.. we already have it in the room. We have a balcony overseeing the pool area as well! We so love our room! 😍 Only thing is maybe they should add another desk or longer desk. The TV is already in the table and there is no separate desk for laptop or if you are having snacks/dinner. We asked, but they don't have a spare table. I think they can also add another chair since the room is good for two. There's only one chair in the room but when we requested for it, they were able to provide. Our room also allowed us to feel the breeze of Baguio! We can turn-off the AC and open the windows protected by mosquito net! I was just amazed with this feature! We truly appreciate their prompt service whenever we call the reception. We don't need to call for follow-up! We love them! We love that there is a bathtub and hoping they can also provide bath robes for a perfect bath! 🙏 Truly, we love to be back to SotoGrande whenever in Baguio! 🫶 Thank you SotoGrande for an awesome experience!

Abbiamo un bagno condiviso con altri locatori, anche se il caso è pulito e ha un sistema d'acqua calda. Abbiamo un letto di dimensioni King (?), 1 TV, 1 ventilatore elettrico, frigorifero e una piccola terrazza con tavolo e 2 sedie. Nessun AC ma nessuna necessità dal Baguio ha il suo sistema naturale di raffreddamento. Solo 1 asciugamano e 1 tovagliolo forniti, non abbiamo chiesto di ottenere ulteriori 😅. La porta si chiude con 10PM e durante la nostra notte scorsa è stata chiusa con 9PM. Puoi chiedere la chiave se saresti tornato tardi. Localizzazione saggia, 8-9 minuti di guida (taxi) dal centro come SM, terminale di autobus, ecc.

This hotel has some good points: 1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests. 2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area. 3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool. However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas: 1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience. 2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved. 3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted. 4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service. We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.
