Hotel in zona Ifugao Woodcarvers' Village, Baguio

Quite disorganized. Triage slip - this is an important piece of paper that a traveller should always bring especially when going to Camp John Hay area. I was asked by the receptionist to hand her the triage slip when we were checking in. I thought it must be submitted to them that’s why it wasn’t returned to me. When we travelled to John Hay, we were blocked at the gate because we didn’t have it. We went back to the hotel and asked about it. The receptionist struggled to find it but eventually found it. Hotel luggage cart - we were about to go to our room and asked for assistance since we have a lot of bags/luggages with us. We waited for so long because they seemed struggling to find the cart, so we decided to go without it. Housekeeping request - on our third day, we called at the lobby to schedule cleaning and replacing everything that needs to be replaced. We were out the entire day and hoping the room is clean when we return, but to our surprise, nothing happened. A staff forcibly opening the door - early in the morning when we were still sleeping (and haven’t had enough sleep), someone was trying to open the door, and since it’s taking a while, I decided to rise up, went to the door and opened it. The staff apologized and said it was a mistake. I never got back to sleep and was not feeling well the entire day. Breakfast - I don’t know if it’s normal but I find it such a hassle to always get a coupon from the lobby daily, and present it to the cafe every morning. The time we plan to take breakfast everyday is also being asked. I know this is to manage/forecast the flow of requests, but one day when we weren’t able to show up on time, someone from the cafe called us to know what time we will eat. I appreciate the concern, but it was just about 8:30am, and what if we were still sleeping? We felt pressured to go down and eat, and that’s what we did. Friendliness - not all, but most of the staff are not used to greeting people. Other than these, there are still good things about this place, such as the location. It’s within the city center, so it’s easy to go around. The area feels safe as well.

Bella stanza, personale molto conveniente e accessibile. La stanza è abbastanza grande per noi, anche se l'acqua non è quella malakas ma è ancora ok,. Il cibo è solo ok ☺️ ma può ancora raccomandare.

La camera era molto buona, la camera era bella, così come la cucina e il bagno, salvo per il piccolo crack nel tetto che era trascurabile,. La posizione era bella e il Wi-Fi era bellissimo. Mentre la nostra esperienza era buona, ogni tubo nella suite era fugato, se avessimo rivolto la pressione dell’acqua alti, il tubo sarebbe fugato sul suo lato e l’acqua si sprayrebbe tutto il pavimento, e questo è per ogni tubo nella suite. Le loro attrezzature dicevano che avevano lavanderia, ma quando le chiesemo, dissero che non avevano una cosa del genere e che dovevamo trovare un lavabo, che ci ci ha preso un'ora e mezza per trovare. Non abbiamo controllato tutte le strutture, ma non sarò sorpreso se non ci fosse niente come cavallo indietro, perché non ho visto una gamma o uno spazio aperto di cavalli.

G1 Lodge Hotel is conveniently located behind SM Baguio. Just few minutes away from Sky Ranch Baguio, Burnham Park and Baguio Cathedral. The rooms are clean, bed is clean and comfy though they only provide 2 pillows and when asked for extra pillows, unfortunately it is not available. Good that our room has a balcony so you can enjoy the cool breeze in the morning and night and serves as dining area. Slippers are provided so you don’t have to walk on cold flooring or the bathroom. Iron and Ironing board is available upon request. Hot and cold water for shower is available. The only comment is they do not have a full/half mirror in the room and the only mirror is above the bathroom sink.

Stavo qui per l'Anno Nuovo. Mi è stato dato un letto matrimoniale dal momento che la capacità era piena. Mi è venuto sorpreso che al mio arrivo mi è stato dato un buono che mi dà cena gratuita per tutta la mia permanenza per 2 notti! La scelta di cibo era leggermente limitata, ma il gusto era molto buono! Colazione saggia la diffusione era buona per un piccolo hotel, non essere sconvolto di gustare un buon colazione qui! Situazione wise it’s a poca distanza dalla città principale, come questo hotel si trova accanto a Lafayette , che si trova sulla collina, così il tempo è freddo alla notte, che è una bella cosa da vivere!

We stayed for a week (7d 6n) It was a charming hotel that overlooks the mountainous Baguio City. Staff were accommodating, professional and friendly. My only downside is that there’s no shuttle to pick us up or drop us off to our preferred destination especially one night that we finished shopping at SM Baguio not so late at around 8 or 9pm and there were no taxicabs around. We were neglected by the SM’s dispatcher so freezing and inconvenient as it is, I called the hotel to pick us up since we were having a hard time booking a grab taxi. It is always drivers are busy all the time. The first lady at front desk wasn’t that helpful. She just gave a “wala na kaming magagawa” answer but the second front desk lady was accommodating and went the extra mile so kudos to her. Shout out to our housekeeper lady Grace who also is friendly and courteous and gave us all the amenities we needed. Replenished our sheets reqularly. Above all it was an above average stay but not as perfect since there were minor areas like, the bathroom sewer stinks, which I think they are aware of, no shuttle, the balcony is fine coz we were at the corner facing both the vines with some noisy construction workers chatting but tolerable and pine trees on your right. You have to lean over to get a good view but be extra careful for you might fall to your death. It was a charming and promising hotel. We might consider to comeback and tell this to friends, relatives and close loved ones.

La posizione del condominio era in una posizione molto buona vicino ai luoghi turistici e alle joints/restauranti. La nostra unità di studio era pulita e piccola, ma durante il nostro soggiorno, purtroppo, c'era un bruno a causa di un posto elettrico che è stato danneggiato quando un albero cade su di essa. Questo ci ha portato a usare le scale fino alla nostra unità di quinto piano con i bagagli, l'ascensore non funzionava e non era divertente. La nostra stanza era un'unità angolare, quindi abbiamo due balconi, abbiamo una buona vista e un aria fresca.

Per la sua aria di lusso, il ristorante sul posto dell'alloggio offre una deliziosa selezione di piatti locali e internazionali. In conclusione, Safari Lodge Baguio è un giardino per i ricercatori di emozioni, gli entusiasti della natura e chiunque voglia sfuggire al normale. The room is superb, clean, smell good and big. The balcony with breathtaking view. The staff is so polite and best service given to each guest. The restaurant is super good (you must try the steak). Questo è un posto molto bello per riposare non solo per le coppie, ma anche per i viaggiatori soli che volevano sfuggire alle stressose congedo di lavoro e spostarsi da cose che rendono la loro vita pesante.
