We stayed here with Troll expeditions. It has a 2-star rating. It is located in a very rural area. The entry is very small and everyone is required to take off their shoes and walk around the facility in their socks. The room was very small with no place to put our suitcases. The water in the bathroom smells and tastes like sulfur. There were no cups in the bathroom. There was no TV or safe in the room. There is radiator heat. There was a regular enclosed shower so no flooding the bathroom floor. There were two single beds put together with no end tables. The pillows were very flat. There was good wifi. There was a large community room with couches and chairs and a large dining area. There were games available and a piano. The breakfast buffet was the worst of the trip with minimal offerings of meat, cheese, bread and cereal. There is no restaurant at the hotel.

It is a scandal what people can offered for visitors and for family (4 persons) : a room for 4 persons in a basement, room even not heated and where you feel the wind entering the room from the exit door! It was very cold and You could feel it on the wall! No pictures of this room are available on booking sites! Therefore I have attached some pictures! Last Information : breakfast only from 8 till 9! Don’t misst it!!

Entsetzliches Gästehaus. Vorsicht. Anfahrt über Schotterpiste mit Schlaglöchern. Dann kommt man nicht ins Haus, weil niemand im Vorfeld den Türcode für die Eingangstür mitgeteilt hatte. Keine SMS, nichts. Gut, dass andere Gäste nach einiger Zeit zurückkamen. Das Zimmer winzig, geschätzt rund 12qm, kein Waschbecken im Zimmer, aber mit sehr hellhörigen Wänden, so dass man alle Worte aus dem Nebenzimmer hören kann. Der Duschkopf halb brüchig. Das Fenster im Zimmer halb blind. Renovieren ist hier nicht angesagt. Frühstück nur mit Toastbrot, nicht jedermanns Sache, und leider erst um 8 Uhr. Schlecht, wenn man viele km fahren will. Mülltrennung ist hier ein Fremdwort: Essensreste und Dosen wild durcheinander um Abfall. Dann noch eine arrogante Antwort und keinerlei Einsehen wegen der Mängel. Island Reisen hat diese Location gebucht, auch hier nur ein Achselzucken. Fazit: Dringende Warnung, Finger weg!

Nos alojamos en una habitación cuádruple. Elegimos guesthouse para poder tener zonas comunes y poder preparar nuestro desayuno. Nos hemos encontrado: - Una habitación muy pequeña para los cuatro (tuvimos que turnarnos para organizar las maletas). - Solo 2 duchas con WC y un WC individual para las 8 habitaciones de la planta. - Insuficientes zonas comunes: una mesa con dos sillas con un microondas y un sillón con dos plazas y una estantería. ¡Imposible desayunar ahí o charlar para preparar la ruta! Sin duda alguna, no es lo que aparece reflejado en la definición del alojamiento de booking

Fijne en gezellige guesthouse. We hadden het gevoel in een echt ijslands huis te gast te zijn. Leuk om hier te zijn. Het ligt wel wat afgelegen, je rijdt er op een lange grindweg naartoe. Zouden zelf volgende keer liever iets centraler gelegen verblijf boeken. Kamer was klein maar wel goed te doen. Verbeterpunt is om meer haakjes en plankjes te maken. We konden de spullen niet zo handig kwijt. De kledingkast heeft veel ruimte maar weinig plankjes en maar 1 kledinghanger. Dit wat uitbreiden en alle spullen kunnen in die kast in plaats van op de grond. Rondom deze kledingkast had wel wat schoner gemogen vind ik zelf. Kwam toch wat haren en stof tegen helaas. Gedeelde badkamer, wc en douche waren goed. Heeft niet onze persoonlijke voorkeur maar het was netjes. Erg vriendelijke en betrokken eigenaren! Goede tips gekregen over wandelingen in de omgeving. Fijn gezellig en gastvrij guesthouse.
