Semplicemente fantastico! È un po' difficile da raggiungere ma i ragazzi dell'hotel vengono a recuperare i clienti sulla strada principale col tuktuk. Non appena si entra nell'hotel si resta estasiati dalla fantastica vista sulle montagne che si apre dalla sala da pranzo. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite e fornite di ventilatore, bollitore e the, frigo, il bagno è spazioso e sono forniti sapone shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Letto comodo e spazioso. Terrazzo con vista mozzafiato e ottimo segnale wifi (che viene appositamente suddiviso tra le camere adiacenti così che tutti gli ospiti possano avere una buona ricezione). La colazione è super abbondante e buonissima e al tutto si aggiunge l'estrema gentilezza dei gestori e la presenza di scoiattoli o scimmiette sulla ringhiera della sala da pranzo che rende l'atmosfera molto piacevole. Insomma è un hotel assolutamente da consigliare! Non abbiamo provato il ristorante ma a giudicare dalle prelibatezze che ci hanno servito a colazione credo proprio che sia tutto buonissimo! Unico problema è che non accettano la carta di credito...

Ella Hide View was in a lovely location with lovely, helpful staff. The morning sunrise was pretty special! The facilities were pretty basic with patchy hot water (runs on solar so would be wary if you went in cooler seasons). The wifi also barely worked so would avoid if you’re relying on wifi to book/get around.

Ella Hide View exceeded our expectations. It is down a long flight of stairs, but the staff will help you with your bags. The place was realatively quiet considering all the construction around it. The view was quite nice, and our room was great! The bed was comfortable, it was very clean and everything looked like new. Also I love the bean bags and comfortable chairs and that you have your own balcony. They will arrange tours and tuk tuks for you to get around, which we did the Tea Factory tour. Also it is close to the "downtown" which makes going into town for dinner or other things easy.

Be careful when you arrive, we booked a large 20 square meter room and received an 8 square meter room in the basement... It's a shame that they're trying to make fun of the tired guest that we had to check into the Taha Hotel and move on, it really ruined the experience.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were staying in the newest apartment which was just build a month ago. Everything was brand new and really nice to use. The staff of the hotel was super polite and helpful during our whole stay. Breakfast is good and roomservice as well. Had a nice stay at Ella View

The hotel is located a short tuk tuk ride up a steep hill from Ella city centre. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They arranged tuk tuks for us to go to town and The Nine Arches Bridge. They showed me some of their newly decorated rooms, which I'd definitely recommend booking. The view from all their rooms is amazing, you can see a waterfall, tea plantation, mountains and a train bridge.

A simple no no-frill hotel with 7 rooms, all facing the valley. The view from the rooms and the restaurant is spectacular. The beds were very comfortable (firmness was 4.5 out of 5). The restaurant served delicious Sri Lankan food, such as wrap, noodles, and other items. The chef Priyantha and staff Milan were friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to make our stay at the hotel comfortable. This is a lovely hotel, a great relaxing place that gave us a happy feeling. I will return to this hotel. The hotel shows some ageing, but a few TLC would bring it back to its prime. The Wi-Fi was slow at times, but I think it was common in uphill countries.

Ella Hide offers excellent value for money, the rooms are not luxury but the views and hospitality are incredible. The manager was very kind and went above and beyond to ensure the guests enjoy their stay. We arranged the tea factory tour through the hotel and it was one of the highlights of Ella. The accommodation is out of the city centre, but that's the reason for the breathtaking views. The manager was excellent at arranging the tuk tuks to ferry us into town. He does this at a cheaper price than all the other tuk tuk drivers. You can walk into town from the hotel but be aware that Google maps shows a longer route. As others have mentioned, you can walk down the steps beside the hotel and then walk 10-15 mins along the railway tracks - not dangerous btw. A tuk tuk back is advisable. The breakfast is very tasty and you certainly won't go hungry. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we want to thank the Ella Hide View team for their hard work.

This hotel has the most stunning view of the mountains. The place was very clean and the food was great. The staff both Priantha & Milan gave us outstanding service and took care of all our needs with a very cheerful attitude. It was such a pleasure to deal with them.
