Hotel in zona Grand Casino Baden, Baden

This hotel is opposite IKEA. It doesn’t look much from the outside and you’ll not be blown away as you walk-in either. However, the receptionist was extremely helpful on checkin as well as at other times of my stay, including recommending somewhere to eat and booking a taxi for my return to the airport. The room was pretty good, great sized TV, comfy bed and very good shower. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good. I’d stay here again if visiting the area on business.

Questa casa ha superato le nostre aspettative molto più di quanto ci aspettava. Melissa e la squadra hanno preso il controllo solo nel mese scorso e il lavoro che hanno già fatto è già respiratorio! Il servizio che abbiamo ricevuto da ogni membro del personale è stato oltre e oltre quello che avremmo potuto sperare. Il ristorante, i cocktail, il cibo - tutto è stato eccezionale. Così felice non siamo rimasti in uno degli hotel spa - erano quasi quattro volte il prezzo, ma garantito che non potevano darci il servizio che abbiamo ricevuto qui. Abbiamo mangiato la cena la prima notte, che era estremamente buona e deliziosa, così come avere pranzo il giorno successivo qui. Non poteva davvero raccomandarlo abbastanza. Cerca di chiedere di provare il Duck Gin!

We had a really enjoyable 3 nights, the two best attributes are the very friendly and helpful staff, and the complimentary bar. The rooms were well fitted out and modern, had a lovely stylish bathroom, very comfortable beds, and crisp linen. The continental breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of regional produce including fresh baked rolls and cheeses. My only surprise was that there was no air con as kr was the height of the heatwave, but the hotel staff gave us an excellent fan which aided sleep. There could be a place to sit inside which is quiet and away on its own. Felt calm, relaxed and taken care of at the end of the stay and would definitely come back or try other Accor hotels.

Vicino all'aeroporto e a poche fermate dalla città di Zurigo! L'hotel è pulito e accogliente! L'unico inconveniente è che a volte ci vuole un po' di tempo prima che la reception risponda al telefono, quindi siamo dovuti scendere per chiedere le targhe da soli.

Die kurzfristig gebuchten Zimmer entsprachen dem Angebot voll und ganz. Sehr sauber und daher auch sehr einladend zum verweilen. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels die wir dieses Jahr gebucht haben, funktionierte das W-LAN einwandfrei. Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder.

Abbiamo dormito una notte in capsula in quanto non avevamo più treni per recarci a casa: • ogni capsula ha un asciugamano pulito al suo interno; • capsule pulite e in ottimo stato; • le valigie sono da lasciare sotto la capsula (meglio munirsi di lucchetto. Se sprovvisti si può chiedere alla reception); • bagni e docce in ottimo stato e pulitissimi; • area “svago” ben tenuta e accogliente, peccato che poco fornita di varietà per la colazione è molto cara. Di notte, ormai, si sente un po’ di rumore di coloro che vanno e vengono, nella stanza però, vengono forniti dei tappi per le orecchie.

Niente cibo questa volta. La comodità della posizione è l'unico, opprimente, più importante elemento essenziale per la scelta di questa posizione, nient'altro. Ma questo è di fondamentale importanza!

I have spent 18 days working from JOYN Zurich so think this should be a fairly accurate review of my experience. For context, JOYN is new so may still be working through teething issues, but hopefully this is useful feedback. Pros; - Comfortable, well equipped rooms. I was in one of the largest apartments they offer and it is a good space to spend a lot of time - The kitchenette whilst small is workable and has most of what you'd need - Well located close to the airport and about 25 mins by tram to central Zurich - Nice bathroom and good shower pressure - Gym is good with nice new equipment - Very close to great supermarkets (Coop and Migros next door) - The communal spaces are lovely, including the central courtyard and roof gardens - Strong water pressure from the shower (although the drain didn't seem to be able to cope with the volume of water which meant potential overflowing of the shower unless carefully managed) - The room has a small dishwasher. There were two dishwasher tablets provided and these weren't topped up by the cleaners, meaning you'll need to buy more Unfortunately the cons are pretty significant though, particularly if you want to work from here; Cons - The wifi is atrocious. At best the speeds hover around 1mbps which isn't good enough for stable whatsapp or facetime calls, let alone Teams or Zoom work calls. I thought this may have been my room but is pretty much my experience in all the open spaces including the ground floor communal spaces (see screenshot from Speedtest). This makes it unsuitable for any work. - The cleaning services are a bare minimum. After one week they changed my linen and towels but didn't vacuum, sweep the floor, empty bins or clean the bathroom. After another 7 days they'd hadn't come to clean again and when prompted they said it would be cleaned that day (but it wasn't). On the 8th day I asked and again they promised to have it cleaned. Whilst I wouldn't mind cleaning myself, there is no vacuum cleaner, cleaning cloths or anything else in the room to clean with, so unless you want to buy your own, be prepared for it to get pretty dusty and the bathroom to get dirty. Cleaning also didn't include replacing the kitchen towels so you'll have to wash these yourself if you're staying for an extended period. - Other than the supermarkets nearby there is pretty much nothing else around Perhaps they're not used to guests having longer stays, but with cleaning services like this, it will become pretty horrible unless guests buy the cleaning products and do it themselves.
