Fit Vital Aktiv Hotel Das Ludwig

Modest family hotel in the middle of golf haven of Bad Griesbach. We came here several years ago when the kids were younger and they enjoyed the football camp as well as the local area. The football camps are well and very much grass roots teaching not only skill but mental focus. There were also lots of kids doing the kids club which they did a great job hosting and a handprint wall which still had our kids’ hand prints from their last visit! The rooms at the hotel were old and dated although we saw on the website that there were some renovated rooms available. We had a suite for ourselves (which was simply two rooms and a connecting door all opened up and second bed removed) and a standard room for the children. The key cards were on a wrist lanyard and surprisingly had the room numbers on each card so if you lost your card – anyone could come to your room and get in. The food at the hotel was pastas and pizzas for lunch and steamed veggies, lots of potatoes and grilled meats for the meals. There were cheeses and bread and a small salad buffet on offer as well as ice cream and a bit more interesting desserts for dinnertime. We were not impressed with the standard of food as it often feels like one notch above canteen food so we often made our way to other resorts (via the resort’s dine around program) to try other hotel restaurants but found they were not significantly better. We went to restaurants in nearby towns which was markedly better. I am not saying there was anything wrong with the food – it just was not our speed and we preferred strong and more interesting & complex flavours. Service in the hotel seems to have suffered a bit with disinterested staff working in the dining rooms and around the property. The front desk and the kids club (Mr Detlev in particular was amazing) teams were always very helpful but everyone else did not seem to be particularly happy. In these such hotels, we normally can identify who is in charge of the property and overseeing everything but it seems this hotel was taken over by a consortium which may have taken the personality out of the place. We were disappointed in our visit and do not expect to visit again. There are other hotels in the area which have superior offerings in terms of service and food standard and with our children being a bit older, we will consider those for our next golf holiday to Bavaria.

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht.Wir kennen das Hotel bereits seit einigen Jahren und es hat immer 4 Sterne S verdient, Dieses mal jedoch nicht.Wir bekamen im Spätherbst ein Angebot als Email vom Hotel.Das haben wir gerne angenommen.Es war sehr entäuschend für uns. Das Büfett war nicht mal mehr die Hälfte gegenüber den Jahren vorher.Es war alles sehr lieblos hingelegt.Alles sehr billiges Essen und nicht wirklich gut.Ebenso gab es auch keinerlei Sportangebote wie zugesagt.Bei der Abreise sagten wir das auch an der Rezeption und es wurde uns gesagt, dass das Hotel keine 4 Sterne S mehr hat. Mit Recht.Wir werden nicht mehr hinfahren.

Das Hotel macht einen sehr guten Eindruck und man wird sehr freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Lediglich im hoteleigenen Parkhaus sollten ein paar Verbesserungen zum Beispiel am Fußboden (Stolperfallen) vorgenommen werden. Wir waren auch mit den Speisen und Getränken sehr zufrieden und auch die Wellnessoase ließ keine Wünsche offen.

Stark nachgelassen hat das Hotel am Abendbuffet sowie im Wellness Bereich. Preise an Bar überhöht. Waren enttäuscht waren schon mehrfach vor Ort. Wellness Bereich überfüllt, schmutzig und Luft außer Betrieb daher für beeinträchtige Gäste unerreichbar Personal überfordert, Essensauswahl enttäuschend so wie Qualität. Nicht mehr das was es mal wsr

Die Hotelangestellten feiern Montag Nacht Disko bis morgens um 1 Uhr, mit Gegröle und lautstarker Musik wie auf Malle. Auf Gästebeschwerden wegen Ruhestörung wird nicht reagiert. Die Party geht einfach weiter. Da es in den Zimmern keine Klimaanlage gibt, müsste man bei der Hitze die Fenster öffnen, was wegen des Lärms nicht möglich ist. Außerdem wurden alle Aktivitäten für Kinder vollständig gestrichen.

Wir waren schon mehrfach im Das Ludwig und bislang immer sehr zufrieden. Dieses Mal waren wir echt entsetzt, was aus dem 4*S Hotel geworden ist. Das Hotel hat leider den Besitzer gewechselt und jetzt wird an allen Ecken und Enden gespart. Das Personal wurde reduziert und gegen Mitarbeiter ausgetauscht, die kein oder kaum deutsch sprechen. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde auch stark minimiert, sowohl in der Menge als auch im Angebot. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig (Spinnweben, Taubenkot). Es stehen leider auch nicht ausreichend Liegen und Sommenschirme zur Verfügung, d.h. es kommt zum Wettrennen, wer als Erster seine Liege mit dem Handtuch/Bademantel reserviert. Wenn man im hoteleigenen Restaurant Zum Heurigen (zwei wirklich kompetente und nette Ober) zu Abend essen will, wird das jetzt mit zusätzlichen 7,-€ berechnet. Das Personal im SPA Bereich (nett und gute Anwendung, leider auch sprachliche Probleme) langweilt sind, obwohl die Aussage getroffen wird, dass keine Termine frei sind. Echt schade, dass das Hotel so heruntergewirtschaftet wurde.
