Thermenhotel Strobinger Hof

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is typical for the region with the added benefit of offering its guests complimentary admission to the Chiemgau Thermen (a regional wellness center with pools, spa & sauna) which we were able to take advantage of. Breakfast was a normal offering and was complete. The staff were very lovely and eager to assist if needed. They have a good functioning restaurant on site if you would like lunch or dinner. Parking can be an issue if the hotel is full. If their small parking lot is full you have to park in the nearby garage, but get a reduced rate of 7,50 Euro for guests. The only thing I did not like about this hotel is that the mattresses are very soft which caused a backache. Other than that we had a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend this hotel.

Had the feeling to play in the Rosenheim Cops series. Same cheap decor, same functional bar, same waitresses. No harm done, no dead body. Rooms are comfortable though cheap, Grohe taps in the bathroom are bad quality. Breakfast is too simple but seems to satisfy patrons. Direct (but very long) access to the Therma, which is the main and only pont of interest.

Two of the ladies at the front desk (Marina was one of them) were absolutely outstanding in providing us help. The pictures of the facility were a bit misleading, however. The Terme and Sauna were not part of the facility, but you had to use an underground walkway to get to them. The good news however was that the use of these facilities was included in the price which was terrific! That this was a 4-star hotel was a bit surprising however.

We were very happy to stay on this hotel. Actually we liked everything - rooms, very green and beautiful surroundings, helpful and friendly staff (though not everyone had a good knowledge of local information). Breakfast was fantastic and very pleasantly served. Free entry to thermal pools and saunas was of great help and the underground passage to them was a bonus. Any minuses? Yes! I would completely ban SMOKING in the hotel. Our balcony in the first room given was right over a smoking place of the restaurant personal and of course smoke went straight to us! Fortunately, we were moved to a different room with a straight access to a beautiful garden, but again - when our neighbour was smoking in a terrace, the smoke was with us also. Other than that everything was really very good. Michell from reception managed to solve all our problems and did a lot of enquiries for us. Thank you very much. Definitely we will come back.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr kompetent. Auch die Bedienung überaus höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf meine Sonderwünsche (2 x Suppe, Eis statt Creme) perfekt reagiert. Hotelrestaurant auch gut. 4 Gänge Menü völlig ok. Zugang zur Therme direkt über Hotel.

Das Hotel hat mir sehr gut gefallen wegen der nahen Thermen. Mein Zimmer war geräumig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich empfehle es weiter.

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Ströbinger Hof und waren rund um zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Unser Zimmer war neu und sehr sauber. Das Badezimmer war etwas älter, jedoch auch sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war reichlich und hatte alles was man sich so wünscht. Das 4 Gänge Menü am Abend war geschmacklich sehr gut. Die Getränkepreise sind im normalen Rahmen und nicht höher als in einer Bar oder in einem Restaurant. Das Hotel ist durch einen unterirdischen Gang (der unter anderem durch die Tiefgarage führt) mit der Therme verbindenden, sodass man im Bademantel vom Hotel zur Therme laufen kann. Der Gang ist hell, wirkt neu, ist sehr gut beleuchtet und hat mehrere Türen. Für uns wirkte er etwas länger als der direkte Weg über die Straße, jedoch haben wir es sehr genossen einfach vom Zimmer aus im Bademantel starten zu können. Das Hotel hat nur wenig kostenfreie Parkplätze, sodass man auf die kostenpflichtige Tiefgarage oder das kostenpflichtige Parkhaus der Chiemgau Therme ausweichen muss. Im Parkhaus der Chiemgau Therme gelten für Hotelbesucher Sondertarife, diese haben wir jedoch nicht erfragt - direkt am Hotel gibt es noch einen Parkplatz der 5 Euro pro 24 Std kostet, diesen hatten wir genutzt. Kostenfreie Parkplätze wären schön, jedoch ist dies bei 5 Euro pro Tag kein Negativpunkt. Die Chiemgau Therme selber hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Der Badebereich ist schön, groß und sauber. Vor allem der Außenbereich überzeugt durch seine Größe und natürlich den tollen Blick in Richtung See. Wir waren die meiste Zeit im Saunabereich, dieser hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Es gibt mehrere kleine Saunen, ein Schwimmbecken das nach draußen führt, zwei Dämpfbäder, mehrere Ruheräume und eine Erd- und Panorama Sauna. Alles in allem ein tolles Angebot - wir waren rundum zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, schöne Therme! Frühstücksbuffet ist auch ästhetisch hergerichtet und beinhaltet gesunde Zutaten! Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Therme bietet Möglichkeiten für Ruhe, aber auch für Aktionen (Wildwasserkanal, Wassergymnastik) und hat ein gutes Thermenrestaurant!
