Excellent stay at quirky property Excellent stay. Very friendly hosts. Games room and sauna avaiable. Several pubs nearby (5 minited drive) for food. Property is an old house and has several quirky featured you would expect of a property of thay age.

Superb stay in fabulous historic house We found our hosts to be wonderful, accommodating and ready with information needed for our stay. Our stay was very comfortable with a lovely comfy bed, a delicious filling breakfast. All in all, a great experience

We had a fantastic time staying here the b and b was pet friendly at no extra cost and the house was full of character, both the hosts were very helpful and attentive and the stay fantastic value for money we made use of the games room and facilities which was fantastic and the hot tub was spacious enough for a king. The only reason for not being 5 stars was the back door to garden got stuck and you had to kick it to open it this was quite loud when we had to let the dogs out at night and this woke the baby up. The back room was a little noisy from road traffic and did have a hint of damp however this is reflected in the very decent price of the room and the with the age of the property. Breakfast was included and our host kindly made some scrambled egg for baby, there was no cooked breakfast, however the lady had broke her ankle very good selection of cereals/toast etc We will return in the future.

Probably best b&b ever , I’ve stayed I a lot of hotels etc over the years but this is my all time favourite the house is like a museum of trinkets & wonderfull things , the owners Terry & lynn are lovely people who will do anything they can for you they invite you to sit with them & other guests the breckfast is fast fresh & delicious , occ of lynns not to busy she prepares proper home cooked food , home made jam , bread , soup etc , Terry is improving his games room daily & loves to join in with guests playing darts , snooker , French bowls etc never a dull moment in the evenings guests sit around a beautiful fire

Great The guest house is ideal for me when working in the area as it is within easy reach of Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury. It is in a really pleasant setting and the proprietors are really friendly and helpful.

This place is lived-in and homely, don't expect a hotel or contemporary stay. . You will get a large clean comfy bed, and a good breakfast in the morning. You're staying in someone's house. Less relaxing for some, if you're after hotel anonymity. It's The people who own and run this place that make it special. They are hugely welcoming. it's a very old building, the floors Creek the doors have gaps and you can hear the rooms next to you. It was like staying at Granny's place, with her mismatched furniture, bedspreads and fabric wallcovering as well as various picture and hangers. There's thoughtful touches like every jam, spread or cereal you could've wanted, PLUS eggs bacon sausage toast & fresh fruit too.
