This hotel is no longer a Howard Johnson! It is now the “Arrow Inn”. Let me tell you, the only redeeming thing of this hotel experience was the sweet little lady that checked me in. She was very pleasant, and hospitable. The hotel itself is falling apart. It is in desperate need of renovation both exterior and interior. When I got to my room, I swear to you, there was a double-sided mirror right in front of the bed. I looked outside my door and Nextdoor is a utility room which made me even more sure it was a double-sided mirror. I threw a blanket over it because I just felt uneasy. The furniture in the room is very dated probably from the late 1970s. The room smelled musty, and there were no hand towels, and no soap. There was no bath mat either. The bath towels were old and falling apart upon use! The bed linens were the only thing that looks clean in that whole place. There were sketchy people hanging around the parking lot, a flickering security light, and just a seedy neighborhood in general. If I could use three words to describe this hotel they would be dated, crusty, and sketchy. Do not stay here.
