"Hill Farm Stays offers a rustic countryside escape with several notable positives. The food was genuinely enjoyable — fresh, hearty, and thoughtfully prepared — and the communication from the staff was prompt and friendly throughout our stay. The bedroom layout was particularly stylish and very comfortable, offering a cozy place to unwind. However, there were several issues that significantly impacted our experience. Most concerning was the lack of hygiene within the on-site restaurant. While a countryside atmosphere is part of the charm, allowing animals to freely enter dining areas — particularly a cat that mingled with guests during meals — was inappropriate and unhygienic. Additionally, the owner's daughter, who appeared to be in charge of serving alcoholic drinks, was doing so without proper measurements. One guest ordered a vodka and coke and was served a pint of coke alongside two 50ml shot glasses of vodka. This not only lacked professionalism but raised safety concerns. The hot tub and sauna facilities were average at best. Their location — poorly sheltered and situated alarmingly close to a horse barn — made it difficult to relax or feel clean. Unfortunately, due to accumulated dust in the room, I developed an eye infection during my stay, which required antihistamines. The situation was highly uncomfortable, and while the owner acknowledged the issue, no responsibility was taken, nor was any refund or compensation offered. For a hospitality service, I found this disappointing. While the stay had its moments — particularly with food, communication, and room comfort — the hygiene issues and lack of accountability diminished what could have been a much more enjoyable experience. I leave my ratings as they stand, with the view that a partial refund would have been appropriate, but was regrettably not provided"

"Prenotato per due notti dopo la visita al fiume Cottage, incontrato da Kate,la bella signora che gestisce il B & B.La bella vecchia fattoria in un bellissimo ambiente tranquillo,con camere confortevoli, bella camera da bagno.Il soggiorno ospite vicino alla camera da letto se vuole rilassarsi. La colazione è stata scelta a Kate la sera prima, bel colazione cucinata, cereali e tosta con una varietà di condimenti anche disponibili. Situazione vicino a Lyme Regis, River Cottage e diverse altre città marittime."

"Il punto di comunicazione e informazioni. John è anche veloce a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. La cabina è così carina, ci piaceva il nostro soggiorno e così Lola ha fatto il nostro cane. Bella tocca con il sacchetto di trattamento del cane e bellissime biscotti Ginger per noi, non dimenticare le mince di cioccolato sul nostro letto È un bel sentimento rustico con tutto quello che potresti avere bisogno. Scusi per il caffè John Ho avuto un po' di scena aprindo la borsa e si divise su quella nota di caffè, sarete in trattamento. Molto facile da trovare e John ha comunicato con chiare istruzioni. È circa 10 minuti di auto in Lyme o si può prendere un autobus dal Hunters Inn pub che è quello che abbiamo fatto in entrambe le notti. Abbiamo ricevuto un taxi indietro ma sicuri di prenotare in anticipo!!! Abbiamo anche visitato la stanza del tè al di là della cabina per colazione. Molto consiglia che avessimo salsa e sandwich d'uovo La cabina era pulita e tesa e perfetta per un soggiorno rustico con il cane. La doccia era grande e il riscaldamento deve essere su un timer come era sempre tostato e caldo alla notte. Il mio unico negativo sarebbe le tute. Gli adulti hanno davvero bisogno di piastrelle da bagno non un asciugamano. Hai fatto un bel sforzo per fornire i bagni completare l'esperienza con belle piastrelle da bagno fluffy ☺️ I’d 100% tornano. E per favore passi a ringraziare Claire per averci lasciato a Hunters. Che bel amico hai. Grazie John & Sue per un bel soggiorno Infatti abbiamo trovato la gente a Lyme così felice e amichevole. Molto consigliato."

"La casa è divertente, decorata con attenzione ai dettagli, il letto è molto confortevole e il riscaldamento è a posto. John e Kathryn hanno ristrutturato tutti gli edifici con simpatia, gusto, ma con conforto, sono ospiti sorprendenti, hanno pensato a tutto e ci hanno dato molte idee su cosa fare e vedere. Ci sono grandi passi lungo la costa vicino (molto muffa, ma Wyke Farm ha un tubo e una spazzola per affrontarlo) e pub antiche per un pranzo pieno dopo. Si raccomanda fortemente di esplorare o di sfruttare i bellissimi interni."
