Club Wyndham Resort at Avon

Wyndham at Avon does not clearly advise the ridiculous cost of parking fee of $45 per car per day. As Wyndham owner with payment for points and overall payment of maintenance fees and normal practices of resorts charging nothing extra since that is sales pitch for past 40 years this is unacceptable fee for parking. Wyndham should not own or associate with any resort that has monetary fee for what should be included with payment of points and maintenance fees.

We booked a 2 bedroom unit for an end of summer getaway. I had researched the floor plan of the 2 bedroom units; but, when we arrived the 1st floor corner unit we were given was completely different. The living area was cramped and the unit was only feet from a busy road with busses and trucks passing by every few minutes. No rest here. Also beware... $45 per day parking and no pool.

Very nice resort. Close to a park with a small lake, pickleball courts, and restaurants. Units are well furnished. Washer and dryer in units. Well appointed kitchen. 3 TVs. Nice bedding. This is our second time here. Hope to come back next summer.

I had 14 family members at the resort. Our outgoing flights were cancelled and SOME of us had to stay over a day. They had a smaller room, but could not give it to us without going through our timeshare. The timeshare couldn't give it to us because it was not available to them in inventory. I spoke to the first one and then another person and was not having any luck. David Solano, the rooms manager came to our rescue. We had to move to a one-bedroom deluxe, but that was fine. He went over and above his duty and what was required of him. We appreciated his help. It took me this long to place this review, because my father died during our trip. I had honestly forgotten, even though I promised him I would do it. Avon is pretty much the best, classiest Wyndham Resort that we have stayed in. We have been members since the old Fairfield days, so that's a lot of stays. It could not have gotten any better, was a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff! Do yourself a favor and stay here. We will be back.

We loved the Wyndham. It is close to the bus stop and to the gondola to Bachelor Gulch. The room was large and very nicely appointed. The whole property was very clean and well kept. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Wyndham Avon is great. We booked a 2 bedroom. The unit is very spacious and built with quality. There are little hidden gems such as fire place and little reading nooks with speakers for listening to music. There is a big laundry room inside the unit, quite convenient. Location is also excellent. We can walk to buses, Beaver Creek Riverfront gondola, supermarket and shops in a few min. There is a ski rental right next to the resort. All in all, this is an excellent choice.
