The Service was good, the air con didn't seem to be working, we told the desk about this and they said they would look at it, nothing changed. It was around 18-20degC outside and 24DegC in our room, also VERY dusty, dust coming out the vent.

La posizione è ottima con molti ristoranti e caffè. Cammina fino in fondo e puoi raggiungere la zona del molo. **Review of Kiwi International Hotel, Auckland** During my stay at the Kiwi International Hotel in Auckland, I was greeted by an unfriendly and cold reception from an island woman at the front desk. If it weren't for my pre-paid booking and the exhaustion from a long flight, I would have left immediately. Despite the unwelcoming start, the rooms were comfortable, though the windows were rattling and let in cold air. The hotel's location is quite central, just 100 meters from the lively nightlife of K'Rd and 200 meters from Uncle Man's, the best Malaysian restaurant in Auckland.

Stayed at Lylo for 3-4 days and it's probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. You check in on a device however there is a receptionist near in case you need anything. Il design è fantastico, così come le camere/spazi di lavoro comuni, è molto nuovo e ristrutturato al momento, quindi sembra davvero fantastico. Ci sono WiFi gratuita, una cucina comune e bagni su ogni piano. Il ristorante e il bar, si ottiene una carta per un drink gratuito! Ho soggiornato in una camera privata e in bagno condiviso, il pavimento era super pulito e tranquillo. La stanza stessa era bella e tedesca, ci mancavamo alcune cose come un bicchiere di rubino (non sapevamo che le camere venivano con uno finché non vedevamo qualcun altro sul nostro piano con uno). Penso che sarebbe stato bello se la stanza fosse venuta con una TV o una cassaforte, ma la stanza era grande per il prezzo così non si può lamentare troppo :) posizione è centrale e facile accesso a tutto all'interno della città.

The hotel is in a very good location, which is near the sky tower where you can take the air bus to or from Auckland airport. There are a lot of shops and restaurants near by. The room is clean and with all that we need. The breakfast is very good, especially the croissant😋

Hotel occupato e un hotel di base per la squadra aerea cinese. La dimensione della camera è decente e il letto è comodo. La custodia quotidiana sembrava essere un po ' lento probabilmente a causa di alta occupazione. Belli ristoranti all'interno dell'hotel. È bello se possono variare la distribuzione del colazione, la distribuzione è la stessa ogni giorno durante il mio soggiorno. Il caffè filtrato è offerto al colazione. Se vuoi qualcos'altro come bianco piatto, si applica un'ulteriore tassa e un'ulteriore tassa per il latte.

Il vantaggio principale è la posizione, proprio fuori dalla principale zona commerciale di Queen Street, meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalle aree Viaduct e Britomart. Supermercati meno di cinque minuti a piedi, SkyCity appena in piedi, ecc. L'edificio stesso non è niente flash con una piccola zona di accoglienza e due piccoli ascensori. Ci siamo stati in un 2 dormitorio, 2 appartamento da bagno sul 7° piano e l'appartamento era molto confortevole e aveva abbastanza spazio per rilassarsi. Il WiFi funzionava bene. La piccola cucina aveva le basi necessarie per la colazione e preparare un pasto leggero e snack; una camera da bagno era un en suite fuori dalla camera principale, mentre l'altra era più grande e conteneva lavastoviglie e asciugatrice. Sfortunatamente, abbiamo sofferto dal rumore di costruzione in strada, che non ha nulla a che fare con l'hotel, ma volevamo dormire con l'aria condizionata su di essa piuttosto che avere una finestra o una porta aperta. Il weekend era meno rumoroso, ma c'era ancora qualche costruzione.

Purtroppo in questo hotel siamo stati solo una notte. Posizione centralissima, personale gentile, cordiale e sorridente, camera pulita e molto grande. Ad averlo saputo avremmo scelto questo hotel quando siamo passati da Auckland fermandoci tre notti mentre in questa occasione era solo per cambiare aereo il giorno dopo per tornare a casa dal viaggio di nozze.

We had a delicious lunch here to celebrate a birthday. It serves Asian fusion, and as the chef is Korean, I believe it has a lot of delicious Korean inspired dishes. We had the Grilled Prawns, Fried Chicken and Meat Balls. All served beautifully, the tastes a delicious explosion of flavors in the mouth, and so yummy, I could have kept on eating. The views are enormous!! So lovely - soaking up the sun, being served by a lovely friendly chatty waitress, and eating delicious food, with amazing views and eating yummy food with great company. We will be back.

On March 13 to March 15, I stayed at the Intercontinental Auckland. My first night at that hotel was probably the worst of any hotel stay in my life. We arrived at 930AM from international flight from the US. The hotel did not have a room ready, which was understandable. There actually were rooms ready, but the front desk did not want to assign an upgrade. The bell hop held our bags and was to place our bags into the assigned room. We come back at 515PM, get the room keys. We go to the room and we cannot enter the room because the security flapper was closed. We go back to the front desk. The assistant manager goes up with us to the room. Of course, he cannot open the door. We are told to go to dinner, and the hotel would cover half of dinner. At 630PM, we are given another room, and told that dinner would all be comped. We wait in the new room for 4 more hours. Just after 1020PM, a bellhop brought us our bags. We waited 5 hours for our bags. We were tired after a 16-hour flight. We needed our meds and our CPAP machine. During this period there were numerous conversations of we’re doing the best we can. Hogwash! I spoke to the assistant manager at our room’s door at approximately 730PM. I told him he needed to drill the locks on the interconnecting doors. Because you see, our room was identical to the previous room. We only reserved one room. The assigned rooms had interconnecting doors. We suspect that the person who put our bags into the first room, exited from the other room after closing the shared doors. That person never checked our room’s security flapper. Comping our dinner, did nothing for the situation. The hotel should have put us in the nicest suite available. As that would have been the best service recovery! I know they were available, because I checked the IHG app. Instead, we get verbal apologies that never addressed our needs!!! Hello, we could have had a medical emergency, and this hotel plays with keys? There was no formal apology from the general manager, who never seemed to get involved. The comedy of errors and lack of empathy was astounding. At one point, I felt that the hotel was insinuating that somehow, we did this! Like really, how is that possible? The actual hotel is very nice. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The location cannot be beat if one is leaving on a cruise from Auckland. BUT, we would never stay at this hotel again! The actual operation of the hotel is very poor for a 5-star property. There is no good reason for what happened to us. I left after our 2 night stay, furious, aggravated and disappointed!!!
