Avoid at all costs! The floors were filthy as I discovered on day 2 when I cleaned a small water spill, the clean white towel came up BLACK! Obvious smears & prints all over the walls, the remote was dirty , covered in sticky black stuff, flat CHEWED batteries & missing back. Opened the rangehood due to low suction & the filters were bulging, cracked & dripping grease! A fire hazard I'm sure. The toilet makes your bits all press together & slam shut! Very difficult & hard to use as intended. (You might think this is funny, but as a woman I didn't need this negativity in my life , hard to keep clean and sanitary if you can't access certain body parts.) It was also disgusting, not cleaned properly. The jug was coated in grease, the toaster was coated in grease. Cleaning Staff were rude, only came once in our 9 days stay to begrudgingly handing over two towels & two face clothes (after being there for 7 days) from outside the room. Had to beg for laundry soap sachet and ONE roll of toilet paper. The pillows were HUGE and puffy and the sheets were slippery, so you slide down and can't get comfortable. The windows at the tallest part of the wall didn't shut. And to top it all off, there was a cockroach happily roaming around the bathroom and kitchen area. The only saving grace was the friendly and approachable desk staff.

It was a home away from home. Nick the manager and all the staff were super welcoming and friendly. Stayed for 10 days/9nights. Room was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more! If we ever return to NZ, will definitely stay there again.
