Pupuke Manor Motel

To be honest, this is what you can expect from a motel with a price they asked and I was not expecting a lot. What I really liked that was the fact that the family units were stand alone units with a small deck. It was a quiet motel and still close to takapuna beach. Less than 10 minutes walk. The owner/caretaker works hard, but does not speak English. We did not have problems, but communication is difficult. The bed in the living room needs replacement. The Iron spirals come through. We used the duvet of the main bed as extra cover. There were not a lot of kitchen utensils. And as in most of the motels, pans need replacement. Shower/bathroom were probably just renovated and were good. Every day new towels and service. If you just look for a place to sleep and on a budget, this is a good place.
