Hotel in zona Deerhunter, Auckland

Overall, it was pretty good and very cost effective. Helpful staff. • Luggage storage room available. Laundry service avail on site (4 bucks for washing machine, 4 bucks for dryer & 2 bucks for washing powder), Ironing service was free of charge. • Toothbrush & Toothpaste were available upon purchase @ the reception. Hot water, box fan, kettle, small fridge, tea, coffee, sugar, clean towel, soap, shampoo were all avail. The first two nights I stayed, I had to use a shared bathroom, however, it was very clean. After that I extended my stay where I was moved to another room which included a bathroom. Also, perfect location as it is situated on the busiest street in the city centre where you'll find a lot of restaurants & shops nearby even supermarkets. * The down part was that it gets very noisy at night, you could hear the traffic & people on the street screaming. Plus, the mattress wasn't in its best shape.

I stayed here for three weeks of my month's trip. That must tell you something! The owner and manager, Ichiro Iwasaki were amazing,friendly,polite, and helpful Clean, warm and secure. It's a Motel. 25 metres from metro and buses 🚌. 25 metres from Eden Park. Close to eating facilities in Kingsland. No food catering but fridge,crockery, kettle for your personal use, etc (tea/coffee/chocolate sachets provided) I will return as I was pleased with it overall 😊.

TLDR: no aircon, constant power cuts, paper thin walls.. Where do I start. First off there’s no aircon so the rooms are hot and uncomfortable. There are ducted low speed fans which don’t do much. But the biggest problem is the fact the rooms are on what I believe to be motion sensors or some kind of timers so ALL power turns off every 25 seconds, this is not an exaggeration. This includes the lights, jug, the fan - everything. I stubbed my toes in the dark because the lights turned off while I was walking around, and they wouldn’t turn back on. Showering in the dark due the lights constantly on and off. Good luck making a coffee, showering, watching TV or anything without that being interrupted by constant power cuts which drive you mad. I booked the small room. They look small in the photos but even smaller in person and I felt like I was suffocating, the rooms are tiny so heat up like crazy. The smallest hotel room I’ve ever seen. Also the walls are paper thin so I could hear my neighbours conversations word for word.. even with ear plugs. If there was air con and sound proof walls, I could have put up with the extremely small space. Terrible experience. Don’t even bother with this place. The Abstract had a lot of potential as they have decorated it very nicely but they have let themselves down. It is also in a dangerous area of Auckland central so you will want to make sure you are back in your room by dark, lots of drunk homeless people around. After my first night of zero sleep due to the heat, stuffiness and neighbours chatting, I complained and had my room kindly upgraded to a larger one, but the same issues remained of constant power cuts and no air con in that room too. At least it was a bit cooler due to being larger and an extra window, also had no neighbours.. The customer service was pretty good. There is no parking on site so you have to park in a carpark building across the road. The food in the restaurant was average but has a beautiful outdoor dining area which was the highlight.

Siamo rimasti qui per due notti. Una delle notti era per un lavoro ”fai” e poi ci siamo fermati per un'altra notte. Un po' annoiato per cambiare le stanze, ma posso capire che potrebbe essere necessario con un hotel completo (anche se ci tenendo nella stessa stanza ci avrebbe risparmiato per pulire). La prima notte era buona. La stanza era pulita e servita a un livello medio. La nostra seconda non era buona. La stanza era molto più piccola, anche se era destinata a essere lo stesso tipo. Non era pulito correttamente con i capelli nel bagno, con i tappeti di gomma, non c'era sapone nel bagno, la parte peggiore era la finestra all'esterno, non si chiuse. Abbiamo chiamato la ricezione che è venuta e ha cercato di chiudere, ma non poteva. La sua risposta era ”è così buona quanto si può” Non eravamo felici e ci siamo chiesti di essere spostati o di avere qualcuno a ripararlo. Ha detto che avrebbe fatto venire qualcuno a guardarlo. Non era ideale quando pioveva - l'hotel era già in fuga, perché ci sono buche in tutto l'interno dell'hotel che catturavano le fughe. Ci lamentavamo al ricevimento la mattina dopo e dicevamo che non volevamo pagare il totale di $185 per notte, il manager La risposta era ”no, è già abbastanza economico”. Devo ricordare, questo era il tasso annunciato, non è stato dato alcun sconto. Veramente stupendo servizio in questo hotel, non lo consiglierei.

Pro: Good Location, Cozy Room/ bed (2 pillows/ bed & pax), Good Amenities (Shampoo, Body Shampoo & Lotion in big bottle), Friendly and helpful Staffs, fast check out, good & delicious breakfast, Good water pressure for shower, Good wifi connection. Con: Limited Park spaces with charges (NZD35), Small Room, Poor sound proof in room (can hear neighbours' talking), Room a bit old.

I loved my upgraded room on the ninth flor and just found the Hotel overall to be an oasis of luxury. This was my first time at this property, and I was really well-treated. I was recognised as a Platinum Member and basically, thoroughly spoiled. I had a very restful night's sleep. The bedding was incredibly soft with crisp, fresh linen galore! Like Macarthur, I shall return!

Buono come sempre, tranne per il fatto che le strutture dei vecchi hotel in Nuova Zelanda sono relativamente obsolete ma il servizio è eccellente e il personale è molto entusiasta

La prima volta che siamo arrivati a Auckland, siamo qui. È molto gentile e utile il personale. La stanza potrebbe essere un po' più pulita, ma non c'è niente da denunciare. Si consiglia molto questo alloggio, soprattutto se si dispone di un bilancio con le strutture cucina.

Molto piacevole, ben definito, sarebbe ripreso.Diretta al centro di Auckland, comodo per tutto nel CBD. Il parcheggio è un problema, si avvicina a cercare e book, è stato detto che è ”primo arrivato prima servito”, quando abbiamo trovato il mio partner chiedeva di parcheggio e fu detto che non c'era nessuno disponibile, ma le persone che arrivavano dopo di noi sono state dato un posto ...il parcheggio era nel Spostati 10min ...so essere consapevoli se arrivate tardi, ma prima che il freeman finisca di trovare un punto da fermare e prenotare in potrebbe essere difficile.

Ero preoccupata per le terribili recensioni, ma in realtà questo posto è ok. Le camere sono essenziali, il bagno sarebbe da rivedere, ma tutto sommato erano ok e ho visto di molto peggio. La cucina al roof top è enorme e super attrezzata, la miglior cucina mai avuta in ostello. La reception non è particolarmente cordiale e nemmeno aiuta granché, la grande pecca sono loro. La posizione top, super centrale.
