The Trail Inn - Atlanta, Illinois - Route 66, I-55

First time using a hotel with no front clerk. This was super easy. The communication is excellent. The hotel & our room was extremely clean. Beds were comfy. Pet friendly for a small service fee. Refrigerator, microwave, Keurig in the room. Felt very safe. I would stay here again.

Would have been nice to have a breakfast included even if was things like yogurt, bottle water etc that wouldn’t require staff.

I make several trips per year from Michigan to Missouri for work and this is the hotel i love to stay at. It is always clean, quiet and a very nice room. I love the self service check in. This hotel is the best place i have stayed and i will always stay here whe i travel to Missouri.

It’s like a roadside inn of yore! It is absolutely the cleanest, newest place I have stayed in a long time. I just spent the last 3 nights at two different HI Express and I would take this place in a minute over them! No breakfast or vending but. For a place to sleep it’s absolutely the best value out there. Check out their website as it sounds like they are new and have very few locations. Great experience but don’t judge it when you first pull up! It’s just different from other places but it’s a good different!

Updated hotel, new carpets and furniture, fresh painted walls. Stylish lobby. Huge tv’s in room. Clean, inexpensive. There is no staff on the premises but easy to reach via ring camera. I will stay here again!

We were a little apprehensive staying with no front desk person, but the contactless check in posed no issues. The rooms are large, very clean, and renovated very nicely, the shower had great pressure and maintained the temperature set, and the hotel itself was very quiet. We were on the back side with a highway ramp behind us. I'm a light sleeper so vehicles accelerating made for little sleep. The bed was firmer than we like and the water was brown when first ran. Another guest told us they are in the process of renovating the other half of the hotel, so hopefully the water issue is temporary.

This cute no frills motel was very easy to check in (self serve) & was so clean & comfortable! I would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay for the night. Coffee in the room but no breakfast.

Our room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The check in after hours was easy and convenient. Will definitely stay again as pricing was awesome!

Very impressed , brand new inside , clean , comfortable, nice quiet location , restaurant close by across street . Needed help to get captioning on tv , helped right away . No staff on site , but can call or ring door bell where you get your key and answered right away .
