Nightcap at Atherton Hotel

This was a nice comfortable stay in a very convenient location on the main street of Atherton. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Looks recently renovated and the bathroom in particular looked nice and modern. The bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet for a great sleep. The restaurant and sports bar were both good and dinner was great. Other restaurants and bars close by. Check-in and check out were a breeze. Plentt of parking. Very friendly. Heart of the shopping centre. Great stay and will definitely stay again.

Jake the manager was very accommodating and friendly. Great service in the bistro, Nick the chef cooked us a mouthwatering steak and came out for a chat. The room was huge, had a smart TV and the bed was soooo comfortable. Highly recommended all round.

We had one night here and were happy with our stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Looks like the room had been recently renovated. Our only issue was the limited number of racks/hooks for hanging things in the bathroom. (Otherwise bathroom excellent.) At check-in we were given vouchers for two free drinks at the bar and told hotel guests get 10% of meals in the bistro. So, that was good. The Bistro offered a fairly mainstream pub-grub style menu and had zilch ambience, but the food was fine - and we got our discount! So, the hotel was OK, however we were less impressed by Atherton, finding the town a bit of a non-event. There are a lot of attractive places to stay on the Tablelands, but Atherton is not one of them. If you're here on business, the Nightcap, would be an excellent base. But if you are tourist, like us, you might be better off in somewhere like Yungaburra.

There are renovations going on here which are not interfering with guests. Which will increase the amount of available rooms.The rooms are very large and well appointed and comfortable. Also reasonably priced . This place was a pleasant surprise, would definitely stay again

Was expecting the old style pub accommodation - how wrong could we be ! Newly refurbished rooms were excellent. Staff were friendly & helpful, starting with the greeting from the receptionist to the staff in the hotel bistro. Meals were great. Lots around Atherton to see - should've stayed 2 nights !!

Nice clean refurbed room great for family with room size easily fitting family of 4. Will be great when renovations are finished. Meal in hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. Great location for exploring atherton and surrounding areas.
