Hotel in zona Parish of St. Felix, Asturie

Consiglierò sempre questo hotel, per molte ragioni, inizio sottolineando l'eccellente trattamento di ”tutto” il personale, menzione speciale ad Ainhoa ​​e ai suoi colleghi alla reception, tutta gentilezza e buon trattamento, in termini di pulizia, diciamo che tutto è pulitissimo, la camera è semplice ma ha tutto il necessario per stare comodi e riposare, un letto comodo, un buon televisore e una buona aria condizionata. L'hotel dispone di un ampio giardino con panchine per rilassarsi e se portate con voi un animale domestico, come nel nostro caso, è un lusso. Per quanto riguarda la posizione dell'hotel, è un punto di partenza perfetto per escursioni se non conosci le Asturie, e per poter visitare i tanti posti meravigliosi che questa zona speciale ha senza perdere molto tempo per strada, poiché è molto vicino alle diverse autostrade della zona.

Firstly the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful! And that isn't the case in all hotels! We felt very welcome. We were even offered a kettle and hot drinks making stuff - without us having to ask! We were given good advice about where to eat in town. The underground carpark is easily accessed and easy to negotiate, once we knew where we were going! Lift access directly into the hotel. Our room was clean and very spacious. Plenty of storage space and everything that should be in a hotel room was there. Breakfast was very adequate, although I didn't sample the cooked food. The waiting staff were polite and very helpful. Access to the city was easy, and although I think we would be challenged to be able to walk to the cathedral in 10 minutes (as advertised somewhere!). Allow at least 15 minutes, plus a couple of hours ”shopping time” on the way! The old parts of the city are interesting with little squares and occasional markets to be explored. What else is there to say? Very good value for money!

Amo il carattere di questo hotel, il suo fascino è speciale e le camere hanno classe. Questa volta sono stato deluso dal passaggio incessante di persone da un colloquio, dal rumore della piastra ruotatrice della stanza e soprattutto ho avuto vicini la seconda notte in cui ho sentito tutto: il loro dibattito, il loro rumore corporeo, la loro televisione. Era un inferno, e mi sono reso conto che ero in una stanza ampliata, un passaggio attraverso una semplice porta si comunicava con la stanza accanto (109/107). Altri punti sbagliati: il WiFi dell'hotel è completamente sbagliato, si vede la rete Wi-Fi senza codice, ma non ci si accede mai. Non ho mai potuto usare il loro Wi-Fi! D'altra parte, la mia camera dava su strada, certo tranquilla, ma senza doppio vetro, i beni che passavano la notte mi fecero la festa! La sala da pranzo è in corso, ho apprezzato di andare a pranzo al ristorante Mil Cent accolto all'hotel: belle stazioni, bellissimi prodotti, accoglienza piacevole, eccellente jambon iberico, tè Dilmah. Stanza attenuata a causa del rumore e del fascino perso, alla fine è necessario ristrutturare le camere contro le danni e il personale deve fare meno rumore anche, con un miglior WiFi e TV. Ci sono altri hotel molto buoni, questo è quello che provo la prossima volta.

Very ample room with a lot of space if you travel with kids and very good price/quality ratio. I cannot give any opinion on the breakfast since we did not book it. Very helpful staff. Location is convenient close to both Oviedo and Gijón and views are nice. You have space around for parking even in August.

Whilst lovely, this is barely a hotel, and certainly not five stars. It is a conference and wedding venue that seems to try and sell its rooms to private guests during the week. While the staff are delightful and very helpful, and the venue is beautiful, the facilities and service are very limited. There is no pool or spa (despite these being pictured on all the holiday websites we looked at). Although the staff did say they'd taken the spa photos down on their own website, this was not made clear at the time of booking. During the week there is an extremely limited menu of just five basic items available to eat (lunch and dinner) - and as the hotel is a good 15min drive from the nearest town, this was a serious issue. The room (we had a junior suite) was absolutely beautiful but again, clearly a wedding venue rather than a hotel - no room service, and very few amenities - although the surrounding park and walks are lovely. We came here for a quiet and romantic holiday away without our children and to be fair, we achieved that. However, I would warn anyone who thinks that this is a ”hotel” to beware - it is not, it is a very charming conference centre and certainly every day we were there, they had a big event and we felt very much in the way. We ended up staying elsewhere for the last two nights of our stay, as there are far nicer places in the area - something the Castillo did not seem surprised by and did not ask us why we were staying elsewhere or if anything was wrong. When we finally checked out, despite having paid in advance, the (again charming) lady at reception had no idea that we'd already paid, and there was confusion over whether we had to pay again. We left with not a good taste, and sadly - although we have nothing bad to say about the staff or the location, both of which are very nice - we would not come back. However, other people seem to have had a lovely time here so perhaps it depends what you are looking for, and what your standards are. Final word though: cannot fault the staff, all of whom were courteous, charming, spoke perfect English, and were very patient and polite.

I had a terrible experience in this so-called three stars hotel, the worst I ever had while travelling. Leaving aside the smell of the curtains, the humidity, the noise from outside, no reception at night, and other details, I want to tell you what happened to me there. I came to Europe for five weeks to visit different countries. A couple of cities with friends and others on my own, which was the case in Gijón. I had made a two-night reservation in Alda Pasaje but ended up leaving early because of what I would describe as a traumatic event. On the morning of the 20th, I was awakened by a knocking on my door. When I asked who it was, they answered me ”police”. Not understanding, I asked what happened and they told me to open the door unkindly. The door had no peephole so I couldn't see who was outside. When I opened the door, I found two men in private clothes, one of whom can only be identified with a badge. They asked me for my document and I gave them my passport. They asked me several questions about when and how I arrived in Spain, both checking the stamps on my passport. I asked them what happened but they didn't give me any explanation. Seeing that what I answered matched the seals, they left. It was a very unpleasant situation, I was alone and I didn't really know if they were the police or what was going on. No one from the hotel went up with them. When I went down to reception to ask for an explanation, the woman there downplayed it, telling me that it was normal for that to happen. I have travelled through Europe before and this is the third time I have come to Spain, and I have never experienced a similar situation, nor do I know anyone who has experienced something similar. I was so traumatized that I was not able to complete my stay. I didn’t feel safe there anymore. The hotel did not refund me anything, they did not even apologize. In fact, the lady acted offended and didn't even look at me when checking out. I believe that this hotel is not up to the standards of a three stars hotel. In this world, if you are a woman on your own 10.000 kms away from home, you can understand how scary can be that two men show up at your door without notice, without uniform and with no reason to be there, asking questions and not answering any. There are better places to stay than this one for sure, DO NOT STAY THERE!

Hicimos una reserva de media pensión para pasar el fin de semana en Gijón. Aunque el hotel está en las afueras el precio era muy bueno y por eso creíamos que el hotel no sería gran cosa. Resultó todo lo contrario. Un hotel antiguo, que no viejo, con mucha madera y amplios espacios comunes muy bien decorados. La habitación, más que correcta, y decoración también estilo antiguo. Baño amplio con bañera. La cena fenomenal, un menú con varios platos a escoger y bebida incluida. El desayuno correcto para un hotel de 4 .estrellas. Nos llevamos una sorpresa positiva del hotel. Recomendable.

Amo assolutamente questo hotel deciso di rimanere lì all'ultimo minuto perché è solo a circa 15 minuti di auto dall'aeroporto Asturias . È in un bellissimo ambiente tranquillo con splendide viste e giardino adorabile . Personale presso la reception così amichevole e utile . L'hotel è molto spagnolo in stile con un senso molto comodo. Le aree pubbliche arredate in stile tradizionale sono davvero comode. Camere molto spaziose, grande letto, favoloso grande bagno davvero ben attrezzato. Abbiamo avuto una cena che era molto preziosa e molto buona a 30 € ciascuno che includeva una bella bottiglia di Rioja . L'hotel sarebbe una grande base per visitare tutte le città , villaggi e spiagge della regione . Cudillero solo circa 20 minuti di auto , Saint Esteban circa 10 minuti di auto . Il nostro unico rammarico è che avremmo amato stare per una settimana . Siamo sicuramente tornati !!

Hotel centrali e confortevoli, vicino al ponte romano, nella piazza del villaggio, vicino al Comune. Nella parte posteriore c'è un parcheggio grande ma è pagato fino a sabato pomeriggio, anche se ci sono zone vicine per parcheggiare gratuitamente. Il personale di accoglienza è piacevole. La camera molto vasta e decorata con gusto, sembra rinnovata, un grande bagno con doccia e bagno gigante. Le mutandine sono comode e il letto grande ma nel centro c'era come una differenza di altezza, è possibile che si formano 2 letti di diverso spessore o 2 somiere con l'adeguamento delle gambe diverse. Ha anche un divano che diventa letto. Le persiane hanno tasti di salita e scarica automatica. TV grande con molti canali. Nel bagno, nella zona specchio c'è poco illuminazione e è scarsa per la maquilla**** o guardare con chiarezza il viso .... La colazione varia con frutta, iogurt, caffè e infusioni, succo e bollitore industriale ma saporoso e infilato. Non ci sono uova, né bacon o simili, ma è buono e basta per uscire dal hotel. Se torno per la zona ripeterò. L'hotel dispone di bar e ristorante, che ha un buon dipinto, con terrazza, e si vede frequentato dai locali.
