Origin Red Rocks, a Wyndham Hotel

Loved the property but the stench of the “scent” in the lobby and ground-floor areas made us want to leave as quickly as possible without breathing. The Mountain West is beautiful and clean. Get rid of the artificial scents!!!

I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights. We loved everything about the hotel, except for the bed & thermostat. I read other reviews about the mattress being uncomfortable but brushed it off as I’m not as picky. This mattress was seriously the worst I’ve ever slept on. You can tell it’s old. It was caved in on both sides and was hard as a rock. Paired with extra firm pillows made for a rough nights sleep. The rest of the hotel, we loved! Very quiet, modern, nice bathroom. We had plenty of hot water for showers. We set the temp to 66 but it never made it that low. It’s like it was programmed to not get lower than 70. Overall, we loved the hotel but won’t be staying there again due to the bed being so uncomfortable. When we go to hotels, a bed is very important and critical in a good nights sleep.

The was beyond welcoming, helpful, and friendly! The restaurants food was absolutely amazing and the service was quick. Comfortable clean room, with access to just about everything within minutes. Creative and unique bar drinks!

The lobby & outside areas are really nice. The girl that checked us in was extremely rude. I don’t even think our room had been cleaned. Long back hair stuck all over the shower. Nasty stains on the curtains and lamp shades. To top it off, I went to put some drinks in the fridge in the room and there was a to go box of rotten food shoved in the back. When I made the front desk girl aware, she smiled and said “thank-you”. Wouldn’t recommend. There are much nicer places in the same area.

This hotel was in a great location to be between Denver and the mountains. The hotel has a modern/rustic vibe. Rooms are nice and clean. Hotel restaurant was convenient. Would stay here again for sure.

We liked this hotel, especially the people who run the hotel from the staff at the front desk during a blizzard, to the kind workers at the morning cafe. Everyone is a team player, including the janitor. Nicest people ever! Thank you. This is a great stop on the way up the Mountain to go skiing.

My friends and I had a blast staying here! This hotel is honestly beautiful. Would recommend to others!

The towers are hard because they are old. The pillow and bed sheet are also hard and saline. The bottle of the body washer is fade. This is not a 4 or 3.5 star hotels.

Beautiful property with a spacious dining and sitting area, fireplace outdoor space when it's warm. The style is modern but also warm and reflects being next to wonderful outdoor space. Convenient location next to the 70 for skiing, downtown Golden and Red Rocks Ampitheater. Breakfast was delicious and priced well alot of great options you never see at a hotel. Front desk staff is very helpful and friendly. We especially appreciated the evening/night manager. Fantastic option when visiting Golden!
