The beautifully decorated, well-maintained Päätalo is not only a great destination for celebrations but also for families or groups of friends thanks to its spaciousness and comfortable common living areas. By booking additional accommodation in the main house annex, you can sleep a total of 16 people, and in the summer up to 18 people when you also book a double bridal suite. 135 km north of Helsinki, about 1 km from the shore of Lake Päijänne (quiet beach for shared use). The cozy municipal center of Vääksy with its services is only 7 km away - Old Vääksy, Alko, grocery stores, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. You can reach Lahti by car in less than half an hour (30 km). This 1930s log house, completely renovated in 2011, charms by combining the atmosphere of the old times with modern comforts. The main house has accommodation for 10-12 people: 4 bedrooms upstairs; two bedrooms have 2 beds each, and two bedrooms have three beds per bedroom. In addition, 2 good-quality mobile extra beds. Upstairs there is also a living room (47 "TV + Internet 8MB), 2 toilets, one of which has a shower. Downstairs there is a functional, well-equipped kitchen (including induction cooker, several refrigerators, comprehensive tableware), serving room, living room (wood burning oven is not available), banquet hall, sauna (wood and electric stove), washroom (2 showers), dressing room and 2 toilets. Additional accommodation for 1–4 people is also available for rent in the courtyard annex all year round. The price is 120 e/1 day or 190 e/weekend, reservations and payment directly to the owner. The annex has 2 rooms, each with two 90 cm wide single beds, access to the second room is via the first room, which also has an outside door and a toilet shared with the rooms (there is no shower in the annex). Additional accommodation in the annex is only rented in connection with a reservation for the Main House. During the summer season (May-September) a romantic 2-person bridal suite is also available for rent at the end of the barn building. The price for two is 60 €/day, 90 €/weekend (payment directly to the owner). The barn is only rented as additional accommodation in connection with the Main House. The barn has heating, no other amenities. If you would like to rent additional accommodation in the annex building and/or the bridal suite, please mention this in your booking in the Additional information section, payment directly to the owner. You can organize parties for up to 60 people in the main house. However, the additional fee for parties and accommodation for more than 12 people must always be agreed separately in advance with the owner (additional fee starting from 100 €). Note! The property is only rented to families, couples and other formal groups. The property is not rented to groups under 25 years of age. Hydro massage bath oudoors is available for rent (200 €/1 day, 270 €/2 days, please order at least 24 hours before arrival). Pets are not allowed in the main house and the bridal suite, but one pet is generally allowed in the annex. Please inform us of your pet when booking.

Log cabin 1997, renovated 2015, living room/kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, washing room (where also toilet), separate toilet, dressing room/foyer, sauna (electric stove), open veranda. Upstairs: bedroom with 4 beds, bedroom with 2 beds, balcony. TV and radio/CD player on each floor. High chair, travel bed, bathtub and potty for baby, child safety gate in the groundfloor. Free Wi-fi. Modest lakeside sauna, no running water.

25 km north of Lahti. Lake Päijänne 30 m, shallow water, hard rock/sand bottom. Own rowing boat. The dock has underwater concrete weights that hold the pier in place. The weights are chained to the dock and are located on both sides of the dock. Log cabin 1986, extended and renovated 2008, downstairs bedroom with 2 beds (width 90 cm) and under the beds 2 extra beds (width 70 cm), living room/kitchen with convertible sofa, dressing room, sauna, open veranda. Upstairs bedroom with 2 beds (width 90 cm) and sitting area with 1 bed (width 90 cm). Upstairs with sloping ceilings, partly with low room height (maximum heigth 200 cm). Note! The cottage's toilet is not on the same level as the cottage, there are two steps down to the toilet. For summer use also outbuilding (9 m²) with 2 beds, outbuilding has elec. light and heating. 120 km to the north from Helsinki, lake Vesijärvi 20 m (length 23 km, width 5 km), shallow water, sandy bottom, pier, owner's houseboat and motor boat are moored at the pier. The beach is in shared use with the owner. The house is made from the building blocks, cement rendering (built in 2005). The owner lives in the smaller part of the house. Own entrance on the other side of the building. Lake suite is designed for a quiet, relaxing family retreat (with kids). It's not allowed to have any party in this house to guarantee peace in the neighborhood. Rented only for families and other groups who enjoy peaceful holiday. Not rented for groups consisting only of under 25 years old customers. Living room with sofa, one sleeping site (90 x 200 cm) by using a separate mattress pad on the sofa, kitchen, dining area with sofa bed for one, bedroom with Yankee bed 160x200 cm, bedroom with 3 single beds (80x200 cm), WC with shower, glazed terrace. A pavilion on the beach, there are places for sleeping if weather is warm. Cooking hut with barbecue facilities and wood heated sauna. There is electric lighting in the pavilion and the cooking hut. There is also wood heated hot tub on the beach, which can be rented by separate price. Prices during year 2022: 160 euro per day, 210 euro / 2 days. Booking of hot tub must be done in advance from the owner. Note! Check-out time at this cottage is already at 11.00 (also in weekend bookings).

Kiviranta is a spacious rental cabin, ideal for larger groups. The terrace offers a 37-meter elevation difference down to the lake, providing stunning lake views. The rental price includes final cleaning and ready-made bed linen. Additionally, there is a Tesla charging station in the carport, available at no extra cost. Located 12 km northeast of Lahti, Lake Arkiomaanjärvi 90 m (width: 0.8 km, length: 2.2 km). The lake has a rapidly deepening, rocky bottom, with good swimming access from the pier. However, it is not suitable for small children or non-swimmers. A rowing boat is available for use. This three-story log villa, handcrafted from logs in 2000, offers a well-designed layout. The main floor features a spacious living room, kitchen, a bedroom with a sofa bed for two, a bathroom with a WC and shower, a utility room, and a balcony. On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms, each with two beds, with the option to arrange two of the rooms as double beds. There is also a WC, a balcony, and a lounge area with a sofa bed for two. The ground floor includes a fireplace room, a small gym, an infrared sauna, a dressing room, a bathroom with a bathtub and two showers, an electric sauna, and a WC. The lakeside sauna has both a wood-burning and an electric sauna stove, a dressing room, and a cozy living area. Washing water is heated in a stove tank, and the sauna has electricity and summer water pumped from the lake. The lakeside sauna is available from May 1st to October 31st.
