The Mendip Inn

Lovely clean room, nice bed, great bathroom with shower and bath , very generous breakfast in room enough for two people , excellent value for money, only criticism would be that the Wi-Fi doesn’t work, otherwise a really nice stay, would happily stay again

The room was absolutely beautiful, well presented and clean. Water, orange juice, breakfast snacks and tea and coffee facilities were available within our room. It was amazing having a free standing bath in the room and then a separate shower in the bathroom. Tv had good reception and Netflix which was great for chilling in the evenings. Lovely staff, they were all welcoming and very accommodating. We hired a car and it is local enough to everywhere we wanted to explore. We were able to come and go as we pleased. It is right beside a main road but this didn’t bother us noise wise and there were no other disturbances. Lovely atmosphere to sit down in the bar area to have a few drinks. Would 100% stay here again.

A super one night stay with a lovely Valentine's Day dinner as well. Very welcoming from all the team here. Would definitely return here again, as we have stayed here before. Room has some nice touches in it and well apportioned as well. Great food all round

Fabulous place, nice little room and I had the best sleep in ages, with water and fruit. Lots of parking and easy to get into town, not far from Glastonbury either. I Would love to go back, nice food with a plenty of seating. Thank you for making me feel welcome x

Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent; lovely spacious room - bed was comfortable and the refreshments were really a nice touch! Lovely shower, very nice to have toiletries - next time we stay I won’t take any with us

We stayed in the Bird Cage room, it was a lovely room finished to a high standard. Generally clean, The top of the leather bed needs a good dust as do the lights and mirror. It was quite thick so this hasn’t been done for a while. Bathroom amenities included, these aren’t the ones labelled on the bottles so be careful if you have allergies! Food was provided for breakfast which was nice, bottles of water, orange, fruit & porridge. Bed was comfy, slept quite well, floors are creaky with people walking past but generally was quiet. Tv has free view, WiFi didn’t work in the room but I did have 5G! Only one toilet roll in the room. I’d stay again and I think it was fair for the price but with a few tweaks I think it could be excellent. The restaurant was brilliant, food reasonably priced and excellent quality, staff were helpful and friendly.
