Un altro hotel cavernoso ad Ashgabat con quel senso di servizio clienti "indifferente" tipico dell'ex Unione Sovietica. Nel complesso confortevole e (a caso) ben arredato. Dovreste avere abbastanza asciugamani, bollitore per il tè, articoli da toeletta e luci che si possono spegnere di notte, ma abbiate molta pazienza e tempo se dovete inseguire la reception e le pulizie per una di queste cose (cosa che vi capiterà), e non aspettatevi di trovare acqua in bottiglia. Dovrebbe esserci una cassaforte e la TV, ma nessun canale in inglese tranne uno cinese. La colazione è un po' una lotta per i panini se l'hotel è affollato. Potete trovare un sacco di carne e dolci disgustosi, simili a salsicce, ma scegliete con attenzione e troverete del buon yogurt bianco, uova, insalate e frutta di stagione. Il punto forte è la vicinanza al centro commerciale, che offre infinite opportunità di intrattenimento oltre allo shopping, come l'organizzazione di matrimoni sfarzosi e un'area ristorazione con alcuni punti ristoro eccellenti e dall'ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Abbiamo fatto fatica a spendere 10 dollari per due persone, per una deliziosa zuppa di lenticchie, insalata fresca, pane, kebab e una bevanda (non alcolica, ovviamente). Non vale la pena cercare ristoranti in città.

This hotel was amazing and unlike a lot of videos you see about Ashgabat, quite buzzing with a lot of people staying. The rooms are huge and the bottles water was provided regularly by the friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is quirky and different! Nice coffee shop downstairs and a little shop selling souvenirs, everything open late and oriented towards the guest. My room was at the back of the hotel sadly, but the views are unbelievable from the dining room. Great experience!

The ample storage space, including a chest of drawers and numerous shelves, is a practical touch. The marble bathroom is particularly impressive, featuring a separate shower and tub, as well as thoughtful amenities like towel warmers. It was a delight to spend time in the room, which felt like an elegant, serene retreat. While the hotel excels in many areas, a few minor issues detracted from our stay. Breakfast, although delicious, was disorganized, with long waits for simple items like coffee (served in small pots) and fried eggs. Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent, and the shower had a light sewer gas smell and visible stains. Despite these issues, our overall experience was of very high quality. The hotel's luxurious amenities and comfortable accommodations make it a great choice for those seeking an upscale stay in Ashgabat.
