North Lodge on Oakland Bed and Breakfast

My wife and I visited Asheville for a few days and chose this Bed and Breakfast as our place to stay. What a wonderful choice it was. The owners, Chris and Myra, were very accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious and our room was very comfortable. When we visit Asheville again this will be our choice again for sure. It is very close to Asheville’s restaurants, tourist attractions and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tommy and Corinne

The room was clean and very pleasant. Quiet neighborhood, delicious breakfast, secure facility. Our host personally explained the amenities of the lodge and offered recommendations for dining. We will definitely return in the future and will recommend the place to friends.

Wonderful host! Different creative breakfast dishes each morning. Large portions. Chris is a very personable host. Room was very clean and comfortable. Shared table with other guests adds a touch of family. We extended our stay by an extra night. Would stay again. David

I don’t need to tell you how wonderful Asheville is as a city. With culture and art not to mention the mountains, it is well situated. But where you stay can make the experience that much more special. Chris and Myra run the place and make a different breakfast every day. They really enjoy cooking which you can tell! The rooms are large, beautifully presented and quiet. We will return here again. Thank you Chris and Myra for a wonderful getaway.

My husband and I found this gem when planning our trip to Asheville and were lucky enough to get a room here for a fall weekend stay. The innkeeper's, Chris and Myra, are lovely and very approachable, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. Location very convenient to all Asheville has to offer (restaurants, breweries, hiking, Biltmore).

Best B & B in Asheville! Beautiful home, large rooms, fantastic breakfast and best hosts we've ever encountered! The location is perfect for exploring Asheville, Ubers never more than a few minutes away, all the best shopping and eating nearby!

This is a very convenient location close to great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. No guessing what to do with their wonderful suggestions and information. We stayed here recently, and it was a really pleasant experience. I m not generally a huge fan of bed and breakfasts, but the experience was absolutely top notch. I couldnt give a higher recommendation.

When booking our B&B for my birthday weekend my boyfriend and I were seeking a cozy and homey experience. We wanted to make sure that it was going to be a personal experience, we didn't want a hotel feeling, we wanted something more elevated. We found all that and more at this B&B, Chris and Myra were excellent hosts! When we checked in, Chis met us at the door and welcomed us right in, and went over all of the information that we needed (coffee maker, guest fridge, guest computer, and where to find the wine glasses and bottle openers). We Stayed in the Magnolia room. It was so Spacious and comfortable (and purple, I personally loved the purple). The bed was huge, comfortable and so cozy! The part of the room that we enjoyed the most was the fireplace, it gave you that "Lodge" feeling. My Boyfriend who booked the room had got the romantic rose package. The roses were stunning in a glass vase with a bow. They smelled amazing, I could not stop smelling them throughout our stay and on our ride home. While we were in Asheville we did a candlelit tour of The Biltmore, I was a little worried about getting back into the North Lodge, but the electronic key pad (that Chris explained how to use) was perfect and so easy to use. Breakfast was promptly served at 9 am, as they were booked up for the evening, we had two different tables for guests in the morning. It was a great time to get to know the other guests and have good conversation with people that you would not normally cross paths with. AND THE FOOD...CHEFS KISS!! The food was amazing, they started us off with a fruit cup with a homemade lemon curd at the bottom, the freshness of the fruit so good. For the main entree they had made a quiche served with roasted potatoes and a lightly dressed salad with apples. When Checking out, and thanking Chris and Myra for the lovely stay and for everything, they invited us back to stay with them again and were so sweet and gracious. We will be back to stay with them again, and to use the fire pit next time we are there. We recommend this B&B to all couples, and adults that are looking for a little get away, even if it is for one night. It was the best decision that we could have made!
