The room hygiene is so poor. Room and bathroom have a lot of human hair, even the bed also has tiny hair.

Nice and friendly staff, check in and out very smoothly. Breakfast food is not much selection but nice.

This review is mainly for the outstanding cafe / coffee shop in the lobby. The team is incredible. They remember me and how I like my coffee, and even though honey isn't available in the cafe the head barrista guy went and found some for me. This makes me feel really super loyal towards OMO hotels in general. My one note from staying the night is the weird bedding. There is something poking my skin from the inside of the bedding, I don't know if it's down feathers, but even when I'm not moving, there is the sensation of something "biting" me. I don't think it's bed bugs, which usually leave red marks. But the bedding is weird and created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I absolutely love the cafe, and the lobby in general is like the Grand Hotels of the previous era. It's my favorite place in Asahikawa. If the beds were improved I would always stay here. Thank you again to the great team in the cafe for making me feel welcome and for giving me the VIP service, you guys are really awesome.

This review is for Trip.com's service, not too much on the hotel. Prior to booking the hotel room few months before my stay, i wrote and asked if the room that i am booking could accommodate my family of 4. It was a room with 3 beds. I have 2 adults + 2 children (8 & 10 years). I have been travelling around Japan and have been staying with hotels with triple bed, without problem. There were no reply from Trip.com and the hotel, i assume all is good. Things were horrible upon check in when the hotel told me i can't check in to the room with 4 people, and i will need to take an extra room for 2 nights. Worst part was, i will need to also change room as hotel do not have same room for 2 nights. It was a Christmas night when we checked in, it has really spoil my festive mood totally. Not only i have to pay additional for the rooms but it has spoilt our night as well. Feedback to Trip.com and they are compensating me $45 for all the inconveniences that i have gone through. Utterly disappointed after being a loyal member of Trip.com

I recently stayed at OMO7 for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel lobby is lovely, featuring a cozy atmosphere with plushies that I think children will particularly enjoy. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a free welcome drink, which was a nice touch. Check-in was efficient and hassle-free, allowing us to quickly settle into our room. Overnight parking is available at a cost of ¥1000, which is quite reasonable. The breakfast spread was decent, with a variety of options to choose from. I especially enjoyed the seafood bowl with yama wasabi and the hot waffles with smoked salmon. The addition of cracked black pepper to the waffles made them particularly delightful. Our room was small but decent, with all the necessary amenities. While it was a bit dated, it was comfortable enough for our short stay. In the evening, we took a leisurely 30-minute walk to Heiwa Dori for dinner, which was a nice way to explore the area. Overall, OMO7 provides a comfortable stay with friendly service and good amenities. It’s a great option for travellers who plan to explore Asahiyama Zoo.

The room was too crowded to accommodate two persons comfortably. Facilities were torn down. It took awhile to do checking in because of long queue. Amenities were good.

Though the public bath boasts a modern, serene ambiance, its popularity can be surprising—on one evening, I found myself queuing for a shower cubicle, an unusual experience in such a tranquil setting. But any minor inconvenience was quickly forgotten, thanks to the small, thoughtful touches scattered throughout the hotel. Most memorable was the welcome drink station by the concierge, where Haskap juice—served from a bear motif faucet—offered a burst of refreshing, tangy delight. Breakfast at OMO7 is all about quality over quantity. The buffet may not overwhelm with variety, but each dish, from seasonal delights like salmon on waffles to the perfectly creamy scrambled eggs, feels lovingly curated. It’s a modest spread, but one where every bite counts, making the start to each day a little more special. OMO7 Asahikawa manages to balance fun and sophistication with effortless grace—truly a hidden gem for those looking to explore this lesser-known corner of Japan in style.

Great hotel! Enjoyed the evening drinks provided. Thought the activities provided for families and kids were wonderful and fun.

hoshino hotel never disappoint. Attentive staff and fantastic breakfast. The onsen and room bath is really old, walking distance to walking street.

Very very cute hotel. It is nice for children because there are a lot of dolls there. Onsen and sauna are good. Rest area after onsen is very cute. Not so many choices of breakfast but there is Tuna menu.
