Llegamos a reservar gracias a las experiencias de otros huéspedes, donde nadie, nadie, tuvo una mala experiencia, solo queda agradecer al dueño por el excelente servicio, felicitar por las instalaciones. Nosotros elegimos la habitación de la Construcción antigua que data del año 1.500, dormir entre paredes de más de 500 años de antigüedad....no tiene precio. Paz, tranquilidad, lugar único. Volvería con gusto.

L'hotel è molto bello anche se pare un negozio di chincaglierie con oggetti e peluche sparsi. Si trova a mezz'ora di auto da Arzua e intorno alla struttura NON C'E' NULLA a parte prati e boschi. La pulizia lascia a desiderare (le ragnatele alle maniglie della vetrata nel ristorante non sono una buona presentazione). Quando arriva il momento della cena (e della colazione) ti rendi conto di essere finito in un posto che si sforza di essere di alto livello non riuscendo però nell'intento. Il personale pare tanto gentile ma pur avendo pagato per mezza pensione tutto incluso al termine di una cena veramente minimale (menù esclusivamente di taglio asiatico) ti fanno anche pagare il vino (10€ due calici che ne contenevano 1/4 della loro capacità). La notte in camera faceva freddo. Assolutamente non consigliato.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful country side. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was outstanding, unique menu not like others in Galicia. Breakfast was very complete, service was unexpectedly good. Would highly recommend

This is a spectacular place. The accommodations are top-notch, and the food is outstanding. Prema, the owner, ensures an absolutely delightful stay. It’s really a 6 Star place. It’s off the beaten path from Azura, and it’s a delightful ride to get here. The surroundings are some of the most beautiful countryside.

Wonderful food and a great, comfortable hotel. The woman owner was extremely pleasant and prepared an excellent meal for us. Beautiful area and beautiful hotel. We had salmon and a gorgeous lasagna as well as salad, which was much appreciated.

Beautiful hotel in the countryside of Arzua, removed from the city center (10 km). Free taxi from the Camino stop in Arzua. Very nice room, delicious dinner and breakfast. Very nice duty manager. Great selection of wine. But don't ask for Tinro de Verano (= a popular refreshment in the Spanish summer, made of red wine, sparkling water and lemon - the guy was offended from the idea.

Infinitely grateful for a marvellous experience at Lar da Mota! With my whole soul I soaked in the serenity, harmony and peacefulness of the place. My body was nourished with the home made food that was simply divine, all of it. And the host Prema was highly attentive, friendly, open-hearted, generous and radiating with vitality. What a gem on the Camino!

Excellent from the minute I arrived. I was welcomed to my room which had a beautiful sunset view. Dinner was delicious. The breakfast was a full spread with eggs, ham, juice fresh pastries and more. The room even had a brush for me to clean my boots and bag. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here if you are on the Camino Frances Pilgrimage. They sent a taxi to pick me up and brought me back the next day.

My favorite stop on our Camino trip. We were greeted by our gracious host, Javiar, who provided a detailed tour of the hotel and offered a selection of wine to settle in after our walk. He was very knowledgeable about the local wines, the history of the region and the hotel history. He went out of his way to make sure our party of four had a quiet dinner before a large party was in attendance. Preema, Javiar's wife, cohost, and chef prepared delicious dinner and breakfast. She made the time to come out and talk to our party multiple times during our stay. We felt more like house guests than hotel guests. The rooms were beautiful and clean. I look forward to when I can return. Best Hotel/Cottage on the Camino!

A lovely and much needed respite for our group traveling on the Camino Santiago. Flexibility in room types, delicious cuisine, and a comfortable atmosphere. If you prefer to be in a quiet environment outside of the city center, Lar da Mota is just a quick shuttle away. Thank you for the hospitality. Bravo!

The location is a little remote country side house! They can send a free taxi to pick up and return you the following day. Prima (Malaysian chef) & Javier are the owners, and together with Juan (Javier's brother) are very good hosts and serves you very well!

Our group of 15 stayed at the Lar de Mota Hotel in May 2023 while we were walking the Camino Frances from Triacastela to Santiago. What an incredible experience! The hotel is a beautifully renovated 16th Century farmhouse, with wonderful furnishings and art throughout. It is set in an idyllic rural setting. No detail was spared by Javier and Prema to make our stay as comfortable and delightful as possible. Dinner was a gourmet dining experience, much appreciated by our pilgrims. Don't miss staying at this amazing hotel...it is truly unforgettable.

Excellent food and service. Very attentative staff, the rooms were very functional, clean and comfortable. Stayed with a few friends while doing the Camino. A perfect spot after a long day walking or cycling the Camino way
