We stayed for one night. The lodge is beautiful with a nice garden. However the road to the lodge is quite difficult to reach if it raining or has rained. If you managed the off triad it is very close to the airport. Service and staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast is very good.

The road to get to the lodge is a bit long and bumpy but totally worth it! Beautiful lodge with great staff and delicious food. We stayed at Olerai Lodge twice during our 10 day Safari - the first night and the last night. Both times we were treated very well and thoroughly enjoyed the room. Each room is beautifully crafted and designed. Staff are very welcoming and the food is great. There is a pool and wifi available by the main lodge so you're able to cool down and connect to the web during the day!

Thank you for having us at your lodge in Arusha, our two nights were fantastic, as was the kindness of Lucy and all the staff who welcomed us in the best way. Excellent quality food, spacious and well appointed rooms make Olerai Lodge the right place to stay before or after the safari.

Such a delightful and welcoming place to stay. We stayed for two nights to rest after our flight and before our eleven day safari. Due to my husband’s slight disability we were given a room next to the main facilities. Our room was actually a spacious suite. The bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately the weather was unsettled and wet so we were unable to use the swimming pool which was set in beautiful grounds. The food was delicious and the breakfast extensive. Many thanks to Hosanna who took great care of all our needs and a special thank you to Peter who always had a smile for us and made sure my husband’s wine glass was kept full.

Beautiful lodge with a good location before or/and after a safari. Very nice atmosphere with a staff that are helpful and friendly. Peter and his colleagues took well care of us at the restaurant. Food excellent. The rooms are beautiful. A highly recommendable lodge. The best lodge we have visited in Arusha before and after our safaris.

My family and I stayed in Olerai Lodge for one night on arrival into Tanzania prior to commencing our safari. It was the perfect start to our trip. The rooms were huge and tastefully furnished and the whole place had a very luxurious feel. The hospitality from all the staff was second to none and the children were delighted by the sight of monkeys playing in the grounds. What we hadn’t expected was the incredible gastronomic offering-the food was truly delicious. We wished we could have stayed for longer and recommend this lodge without hesitation. And yes- the road on the way in is bumpy but that just adds to the fun and sense of tranquility when you arrive!

As we kicked off our honeymoon safari in Tanzania, Olerai Lodge set the tone for what would be an incredible trip. Coming from New York City, we have high expectations when it comes to service, cleanliness, and comfort, and Olerai Lodge delivered on all fronts. Hossana and her wonderful team welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness, attentiveness, and attention to detail were second to none. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, with large, comfortable beds that ensured a restful stay. The food was delicious, and the drinks were just as enjoyable. We didn’t have the chance to use the pool, but it was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. Olerai Lodge was the perfect place to unwind and prepare for the adventures ahead. The entire team made us feel cared for, and we were genuinely sad to leave such a warm and welcoming space.

We stayed at Olerai Lodge the first night we arrived at Arusha, before starting a Safari in Tarangire the next day. It was a wonderful choice. We arrived at the Lodge at 11h30 pm and all the staff were waiting for us to welcome us and to serve us a fantastic dinner. After a long airplane journey, we couldn’t ask for more. The room was very beautiful and very comfortable. We were just sad for having to leave early in the morning. We strongly recommend this lodge.

From the moment you arrive you feel welcomed. Very friendly, clean and beautifully presented. Food was amazing. While family loved the pumpkin soup! Steak was very tender and full of flavour. We are upset we are only staying the night. We would definitely come back!
