We stopped over on our way to Islay and were allocated room 2 at the front of the hotel which had been recently refurbished. Excellent view across the Loch from the window. Bed was very comfortable. Had dinner in the restuarant - seabass and steak and venison pie - both were delicious. Lemon tiramisu sundae was very tasty. Breakfast was also good. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Excellent value and thoroughly recommend this Inn.

Great weather during our short stay made this a great location overlooking the Loch and Cobbler above. Staff friendly and helpful and rooms recently updated are clean and fresh looking. Food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. We will return and recommend.

Great stay at the Village Inn for a hill and a jaunt around Arrochar which is just all stunning. Staff are extremely friendly. Breakfast was included on our deal (itison) which was also really tasty. We loved the pub in the evening too, great vibes and good beer

A lovely welcome from James the Manager, we came on an itison deal and received a top star service on our two day break, we stayed in room 12 nice wee view of the loch and the room was lovely, and the bed very comfortable, all the staff were friendly and the breakfast was awesome, dinner was top notch for bar food, the area has the most beautiful scenery. Would most certainly recommend a visit here. Thanks to all the staff,

Excellent place on the loch ,room lovely comfortable and clean everything you need , evening meal very disappointing poor vegetarian options couldn’t get drinks without waiting in queue at the bar (should be a better system for overnight guests) Breakfast was great excellent service and quality , most annoying couldn’t add drinks and meals to room had to pay as you go . Lots of rules couldn’t have food on plates in the garden but could have drinks in glasses (apparently “drunk people “ break plates but not glasses ) such a shame could be a perfect stay with a few tweaks

Beautiful hotel, views are amazing, lovely atmosphere from start to finish. James and his team went above and beyond for us during our stay every element was catered to at a high standard. The food was amazing, room immaculate and very comfortable with everything we needed. Thank everyone who made our stay amazing we will definitely be back ❤️

Lovely evening with family. We’ve eaten here several times and always find the food to be great. Great atmosphere. Good recommendations from the waitress Kayde who served us. She was lovely and full of fun. Thank you for looking after us. We will certainly be back

We stayed at the Village Inn and had a wonderful time. The bar and gardens are chilled places to enjoy an afternoon drink. There was a great choice of meals and we loved the food. The rooms were extremely spacious, super king sized bed gave us the best night's sleep and nice toiletries and coffee facilities in room. All the staff were very friendly and worked hard to ensure you had a great stay. The breakfast was delicious and really set us up for the day. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend you stay here.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April. Without a doubt the Village Inn is the best hotel in the area in all aspects. (have previously stayed at others) From the cleanliness of rooms, Service of staff to the food at the restaurant . The bar is busy and has a typical Scottish feel to it which the tourists love so best book a table. Good selection of draft beers, cider, wine and spirits. Large beer garden at front (loch view) for food and drinks. Would certainly recommend and will definitely return. In all a well managed hotel with pleasant efficient staff.
