BlueSky Arniston Guest House

Great guesthouse with very comfortable, large rooms set around a central courtyard with a pool. There was everything that you love about a good hotel room; comfortable beds, good white linen, clean bathroom with good pressure hot water, separate loo, private garden patio, all the right plug points, excellent coffee facilities and a fridge. Top notch breakfast with excellent grapefruit marmalade. Highly efficient and friendly hosts. I hope that we can return one day. A very good destination for a group if you take the whole place.

As a Christmas present, my parents took my husband and myself to the Blue Sky Guest House for a 2 night stay while visiting Arniston, Struisbaai and Cape Agulhas. Our hosts, Adrian and Jill were very welcoming and provided us with 5 star treatment from the minute we arrived. Our rooms were lovely and spacious. Each morning we woke up afresh, ready for the day! Each room had a Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, tea pot, a great selection of teas and coffee pods. Lovely chocolates and crunchies were placed in our rooms. Fresh filtered water also available in our rooms as well as available at the bar. The breakfast selection available is delicious and it sets you up for the day. Upon our return to the guest house each afternoon, we would all enjoy spending time in their plunge pool. It was such a treat to be able to relax in their tranquil courtyard whilst floating in the pool. Their staff are so friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to Jannel, who looked after us in the evenings. We decided to have dinner at the guest house and Jannell had set a lovely table outside in the courtyard next to the pool. My husband had chosen the classic Cape Malay Bobotie, my mom enjoyed the Beef Lasange, whilst my dad and I had chosen the traditional Cape Lamb and Tomato Bredie. We were not disappointed as our meals were mouthwatering! Somehow, we managed to have a selection of desserts between the four of us - fruit salad served with ice-cream, chocolate brownie with ice-cream and ice-cream with hot chocolate sauce. Besides the delicious food they offer, there is a great selection of drinks including soft drinks, available in their bar. Both nights, my husband and I enjoyed a chilled bottle of wine in our room. Thank you once again for making our stay so special!

Very impressive breakfasts spread. Meal of a high standard and taste. The hosts were very helpful and friendly as were the friendly staff.

Very nice place to overnight. the owners and staff make you feel at home from the minute you walk in. dinners are also available which is super comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Will definitely stay over again

We stayed at Blue Sky Guest House en route to Cape Town. What a beautiful place! Everything is pristine, you could run white gloves over every surface and not pick up a speck of dust. All the blankets and dressing gowns were wrapped in plastic so you can rest assured that you are not using previously used items. The beds were super comfortable and the room was well laid out with everything you need as well as enough space not to feel cramped. Bathrooms were stunning, plenty of hot water and great shower pressure. The welcome was friendly and efficient. Recommendations for eating out were spot on, although there is a dinner menu available. Breakfast was divine, fresh out the oven croissants, fruit, yogurt, a variety of condiments as well as a cook to order breakfast (done by Adrian himself). Adrian was also very accommodating, recommended a scenic route to Cape Town. He showed us around his establishment and then also advised us on sightseeing around Arniston. I would highly recommend Blue Sky.
