Hotel in zona Heikamp, Arnhem

The transport strike, on the 28th, meant I needed to stay in Holland a day longer than I'd planned to and I couldn't extend my stay at the hotel in Elst (see separate review), I'd been staying in. I had to be out of one hotel by 11am and couldn't check in here until 3pm, but the Haarhuis (Her House, in English) has storage facilities and that gave me the ability to walk around Arnhem centrum (centre) and visit the Airborne At The Bridge exhibition (see separate review), without having to drag my luggage around with me. In an effort to keep my costs down, I'd booked a single room (without breakfast, as there's plenty of shops and fast food places around Arnhem Centraal), but the receptionist did some checking and gave me a free upgrade to a double room, instead. The room itself was very light and spacious, but lacked air conditioning - which was slightly made up for by having opening windows and, being north facing, the room was shaded from the Sun for the most part.. Some have commented on the noise level in the rooms at the front, but it wasn't all that noticeable to me (perhaps, because the strike meant a there were very few buses, no Trolleybuses and few trains were running), despite having the secondary glazing open the entire time I was staying. It came with all the normal amenities, such as a wardrobe, flat screen TV and coffee machine (why no tea, though?). The bed was single beds, pushed together, but had a (thin, but very firm) double mattress on top and I slept extremely well. The bathroom, whilst small, was very well laid out - though, being a slightly bigger framed man, I did find getting in and out of the shower to be a bit of a struggle, as the door only opened half way. The water was hot and very plentiful and the soap/shampoo provided did mean I didn't have to go rooting around in my case to find my own. In conclusion, staying wasn't planned, but it's a lovely hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, and I'm glad I booked.

Solo a pochi passi (grazie per la collina) dalla stazione ferroviaria (servizi di trasporto ferroviario e autobus affidabili a quasi ovunque nei Paesi Bassi) l'hotel è ancora più breve a piedi dalla banca settentrionale del Nederrijn con le sue ombre passeggiate e Molti ristoranti. Molto conveniente, poiché non c'è nessun ristorante a nessun IHG Express. Quando sono arrivato a mezzogiorno la stanza non era pronta, ma il personale (più tardi) era felice di tenere il mio caso fino a quando non sono tornato quel pomeriggio (e ancora dopo l'uscita di check-out prima di partire in un treno di pomeriggio). La stanza stessa era una grande dimensione con un letto grande e confortevole, un desk e una sedia funzionale e una sedia confortevole. L'aria condizionata manteneva la temperatura stabile e l'illuminazione era buona - non la ”fasciabile” vicino all'oscurità di qualcuno. Il bagno era buono con una doccia spaziale. Tutto era pulito senza spot. Caffè e tè disponibile. Il colazione è l'unico pasto offerto E' un'offerta di base abbastanza fondamentale in Europa. Carni, uova e formaggi erano adeguate, iogurt buono, salsa di frutta fresca molto buono. Il caffè era fornito da macchina e buono con una varietà di offerte. Non ho provato nessuna delle altre scelte fredde (standard con il marchio Express) e non ho provato nessuna delle altre scelte fredde. Anche se si trovava abbastanza centralmente con facile accesso ai negozi e tutte le strutture e le infrastrutture abituali, la stanza era tranquilla e tranquilla. Un mini-supermercato Albert Heiijn, al contrario, ha attirato piccoli gruppi di sera, ma non è stato un disturbo - in effetti molto utile per un'occasione di piccoli acquisti. Tutto standard e come previsto per il marchio, quindi perché lo segnare eccellente? I cannot recommend Hotel Modez highly enough. This is the third time our group have stayed here and I have never been disappointed. Over the past three years, I have been in regular communication with the Hotel, and their assistance in arranging the trip for our group of 30 was flawless, always a timely ,courteous and pleasant response. Not only did they assist me in organising the stay at the hotel, but they went above and beyond and made our trip extra special by arranging transport for us, which I was finding particularly difficult from my base in Australia. Every staff member is super friendly and courteous, the hotel is in a great location, the rooms are immaculate, and the breakfast is fresh and tasty.

Il centro della città è stato un hotel molto bello, con una camminata con i bagagli della stazione centrale, a 25 minuti. Abbiamo camminato verso il blocco alla Food Hall Arnhem- grande. Prendeva un ascensore di vetro al cima di Eusebius Kirk (Chiesa) per una fantastica vista di Arnhem - 1 blocco. Camere moderne, comode. Ecco la vista dalla nostra finestra.

Had a lovely stay here in September with my mum and my daughter. We visited as a family to visit the war grave of my mum’s uncle. We arrived quite late in the evening as dinner was closing but the hotel ensured we got a meal. We ate in the hotel for 2 of our 3 night stay and the food was lovely and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and attentive. We had two rooms and both were spacious and well decorated with lovely en suites. The hotel is ideally placed on the Main Street in Elst. We had a lovely stay, and would return.

Che ne dici? L'esclusività non è assolutamente più. L'occhio nei latticini con il sangue vecchio e il sangue, corde sporche e ogni forma di atmosfera è rimosso nella tua camera d'albergo. Anche un bicchiere nel bagno per lavare la bocca dopo la pulizia dei denti non c'era. Il cibo era ridicolo costo e la qualità per piangere. Suggerimento per il cuoco: considerare un cambio di carriera. Il taglio con “verdi caldi” sembrava verdure che si puzzano fuori dal pozzo del discarico, divertente con un umido inequivocabile di curry e coco. Sashimi di salmone? Sashimi di sashimi avrebbe avuto un po' di meglio - tre piastrelle sottili, di cui mia madre è ancora malata, e questo hotel è anche un centro di accoglienza temporaneo per i richiedenti asilo. Non abbiamo trovato problemi, ma comunicatelo con i vostri ospiti. Qualcosa con trasparenza? Questo è obbligato come gruppo di milioni, cioè. Sono felice che i vostri richiedenti asilo possano offrire un letto caldo, ma un piccolo heads-up sarebbe stato bello. Non tutti sono serviti in questo caso. Prendi un esempio ai tuoi colleghi di Brabant, van der Valk. Il personale della reception ha insegnato le labbra e un'aerazione disgustosa. Lavorare alle vostre signore di softskills, che è meglio.
