Se si potesse dare 0 punti glieli darei. Struttura sporca, con camere sottoposte, da far scappare anche i topi. Zante è bellissima ma questa struttura è stata l'unico neo della vacanza. Da stare lontani!!!!!! Gli ospedali sono meno oppressivi! Doccia vecchie, col braccetto vecchio e verde da ossidazione, acqua di pozzo salmastra per lavarti e cosa vuoi piu'. Una hall preceduta da una sorta di bar in cui non ti ci puoi sedere se non consumi. Wifi solo al bar dove si consuma, nelle camere, almeno le due capitate a me, non c'è ne' linea ne' wifi....ho chiesto anche ad amici che avevano un'altra stanza, idem...la gente si affaccia dai balconcini delle camere con le mani allungate per elemosinare un po' di linea. Tv? Neanche per sogno. Aria condizionata? Zero. Cosa dire piu', un insetto morto nei corridoi ci ha fatto compagnia per l'intera settimana.....moci con secchi pieni di acqua sporca, scopa e paletta, lasciati a vista sia al piano superiore che a quello sottoposto .... spero solo di non aver contratto qualche infezione per la sporcizia!! Scappate da questo posto.....struttura ingannevole rifatta solo all'esterno....tra l'altro il viaggio e' stato organizzato in agenzia, che nei prossimi giorni mi dovra' dare tutte le spiegazioni del caso...... L 'inferno e piu' accogliente!!!!!!!!

Very friendly welcome from Trudy. Yannis and family really take care of guests and they make you feel special. Food from bar lovely and also family enjoyed cocktails. Rooms comfortable, quiet and cleaned every other day. Will definitely recommend for the price we paid.

We are on our last night and can honestly say we WILL return. Our first week was unsettling with the events between family however, it’s been fab, enjoyable and things calmed down a lot. The staff are amazing and would do anything to ensure your stay is as best it can be. Mosquitos, they are everywhere on the island! Take decent deterrent and sprays with you, the shops all sell them. We are already talking about booking again and we aren’t even home yet. Basic, clean enough and not too far from most amenities. A reminder - if you expect 5 star facilities, book an extortionately overpriced spa resort, Greek charm alone is more than enough. Your trip is what you make of it! We have some amazing memories and have met some amazing people. Just awesome! Thank you Giannis and team. X

This place would be great if it was updated. Great location about a 10 minute walk into town. The rooms are very basic Greek type rooms. Need a very good clean and new mattress and pillows as they was very hard and stained and the sheets didn't really fit the beds and was very used. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better as it was bad in places. Yannie is amazing he cannot do enough for you he basically runs that place alone. As previous review the arguing in front of guests needs to stop as it is loud and nasty. Pool area is good, never struggled to get a sun bed and some do need to be replaced. The food at the bar is nice and reasonable priced drinks. Bar closes at 2am music finishes at midnight but it continues to be loud. Get plenty of mozzi spray for your self and the room as it was really bad for bugs and bites. Supermarkets round the corner sells plenty. Get 1 electric hob and kettle and basic cutlery 2 plates 2 cups 2 glasses. NO bottle opener, tin opener etc.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Said 2 star but didn't warrant a 1. The hotel was filthy with no sign on being dusted or mopped and the toilet was beyond disgusting. The taps were green and mould was everywhere. The noise from the bar area went on untill the early hours and the music got louder as the night went on. The sunbeds were so old that the metal bars protruded. 1 day no water then next only cold water, 3rd day no water again then last morning no water or electricity. This hotel needs a major overhaul before anyone should stay. The owner seemed friendly at first but if you didn't eat or drink in his bar and participate in the night entertainment then his manner changed.

What can we say! If you want luxury, then you are looking in the wrong place. This is a no frills, basic accommodation but the welcome you get from Yiannis is wonderful. He’s a great guy that remembers your name, asks how your day is/what you’ve been up to if you’ve been out & his laugh is infectious! The whole place (for want of a better term) is tired. The pool area needs a good clean & sun beds replaced. The rooms are basic but functional although, the lighting isn’t great, the sockets are not in a great place, the shower curtain could do with being replaced plus a whole list of things I could mention. However, it’s a very friendly place & we met so many lovely people, people who return year upon year. So if some attention was paid to all the little things then this place would be amazing. Yes, we would come back but as Zante isn’t the biggest island, we would wait a couple of years before returning.

Well yet again this hotel just gives more and more .Such a warm welcome not only from owners but guests as well . New member of staff Trudi a real star , good asset to the hotel. Nothing to much trouble here , you want it they can help with it .Honestly don't go by bad negative reviews as I said before this hotel is a 2 star family run hotel , not a swanky 4 star commercialy run place . Good old basic clean family orientated friendly hotel .Keep up the good work .

Stayed at Sandy Maria for the first time and all I can say is it was fantastic!!!! I’ve booked to go again end of august, it’s clean, absolute value for money and Yani Sandy & Trudi are sooo friendly, I travelled alone and they made me feel so welcome, it’s situated literally 10 min walk from town & beach. My new favourite place xxx

Get what you pay for here, clean and tidy enough but fairly basic, but then I prefer that, saves money for eating out etc. Its tucked out of the way which I again prefer but some wont as its a good swift 10 mins walk into town and to the beach so might not suit all. The main problem for us was the layout....the sun rises behind the buildings and so most of the morning you're in the shade if you're wanting to lounge by the pool......after our first day of realising this we never stayed by their pool again and went to the beach etc so clearly they're missing out on business there. Average overall but still had a fab holiday as the place was fine and Tsilivi was lovely.
