Altura Hotel

We arrived 8th September-15th we absolutely loved it here despite the mixed reviews the food was lovely good choice I think it was great compared to some all inclusive visited in the past! Will pop some photos below! We did have slight issue with the drain in the room however despite that the hotel, staff and entertainment were nice and a big hats off to mateo who works on the bar working 11am-11pm on the bar 7 days a week bless him! Lovely place so friendly and welcoming and very clean. Pools were great, there was a storm which affected the lower pool for families however we were allowed to use the balcony pool adults only in the mean time so my son still was able to swim and cool down and had a fantastic time, we will return next year same time hopefully! Thank you’s for a lovely stay and great location close by most things. Overall we enjoyed our holiday and hotel. (Tip) if you want your drink to stay cold take a thermal cup and staff are happy To fill up with soft drink or alcohol! As plastic cups are used, but drinks were good all good value and would definitely come again.

I cannot thank this hotel enough, it was my first holiday without my husband passing away and I was so nervous and my anxiety was up. But o have to do it and I chose this hotel and I cannot fault them at all. helpful staff outstanding team the food cleanliness and staff are fantastic. I also want to thank the entertainment team Joe, ruby, Rebecca and our bar man matao. And our wonderful receptionist Nancy thank you all so much for making me and my friend Suzanne so welcome. Stayed at the Altura lovely 3 star all inclusive for 1 week . Food was really nice varied so something for everyone. Drinks were good though some are abit syrupie. Room was nice, clean and a good size we had a twin bed on 2nd floor next to adults only pool. Both pools very nice. Its up a little slope and about a 10 minute walk from beach. Things i would recommend hotel to improve on would be to have a self service bar by adults pool even if it was for soft drinks because you have to go up n down stairs to the bar. Also the Greek night needs more greek food we were disappointed with how little there was. The Greek entertainment was good though. The staff are so lovely and friendly definately the diamond in the hotel's crown. We would return to this hotel.

Amazing place, fantastic staff and superb food. Always clean and the rooms are comfortable and have a decent amount of space. Nice little walk to town and beach, there was also good air con in the rooms and a daily turndown service. The food was so good, great variety and lots of local dishes as well as the usual chips, pasta and soup. Overall we were so impressed!

It’s absolutely fine don’t worry and just enjoy We are just sat waiting for our airport bus in the reception area and have had a great holiday The Food is good not a great choice but always something to eat and well cooked Drinks are also good everything you would want and contrary to some reports on here they are strong and get you very drunk as we found out 1 day in the pool The pool areas are great 1 for families one for adults only We stayed up at the adults only every day it was fantastic only downside is there is only 1 bar and that is on the floor below near the family pool but only a 2 mins walk We only ate in at night a couple of times as the area is crammed with amazing restaurants and bars and just couldn’t resist The pool bar (only Bar) is basic with a basic entertainment team who try hard Plastic glasses all the time and a few snacks if you want them ice cream. Sandwiches and fruit Rooms are nice A/C is amazing and needed as it’s been high 30s all week Showers not great and go hot and cold Hair dryers in the bathroom small tv on the wall but cleaned every day All up we will definitely return the whole resort is amazing so many great restaurants this hotel is all inclusive for room only money come with that attitude and you will love it like us thank you Altura we will be back Little tip bring a thermos cup for your drinks they are happy to fill them and keeps your drink nice and cool

We stayed 2 adults and a teenager at the Altura for a week and had a great time. Like many having read a few negative reviews I booked the last minute holiday for £1300 a little apprehensively but there was no need to worry. The hotels food offering in the restaurant was great and we ate well every meal. We experienced no cold or undercooked food during our whole stay. The snack bar by the pool is basic and offers snack pots of pasta, fruit, sandwiches and ice cream. It’s also serves warm food like pizza and chicken baguettes in the afternoon. It’s great for a quick bite between meals and it meant our daughter ate well at lunch instead of eating just chips during the day. The hotel is also spotlessly clean everywhere and the staff are very cheerful and polite. Our room was on the top floor in the main hotel and we had no complaints, there was a fridge in the room and the aircon worked well meaning we always had a great nights sleep. Please note the hotel doesn’t provide toiletries so remember to bring shampoo, shower gel etc.. There is tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There is some entertainment throughout the day and all the reps are lovely. We had a lot of fun playing quizzes and games such as boules, darts, beach pong, volleyball and water polo. Inflatables are allowed in the pool and several were left pool side by others to enjoy. There is the main pool, adult pool and area up the top and a small children’s pool tucked away. We ventured out every evening so I cannot comment on the evening entertainment. The hotels location is great and the bars/ restaurants are a stones throw away and the beach around 10/15min walk. We didn’t struggle to get a sunbed, if you come out before 9am just make sure you stay with your towels on the loungers or in the pool as the reception team will move them. I found an early swim around 8am lovely and peaceful and then dried off on the loungers before breakfast but others coming out later managed to get beds easily too. Transfer time was short, around 20mins. The only negative I found with this hotel is the quality of the drinks, the fizz is unbranded and a little syrupy at times. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we would gladly return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
