Altura Hotel

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Altura. The hotel is 3 star, so don't expect 5 star luxury, but represents good value for what we paid for the holiday in my opinion. We had a few issues with water pressure at peak times in the evenings for showers etc. but this did not spoil the enjoyment of our holiday or inconvenience us too much. The rooms were spacious and clean but could do with some drawer space adding for storage of clothing. The bed was firm but comfortable and we slept well every night. Food was good, especially breakfast, and the bar service was very good too. Overall, the staff were very friendly, obliging and efficient. The hotel is, handily placed in relation to the town, affording the opportunity to sample local restaurants, bars and shops. We would definitely return.

The hotel is good, the staff are friendly and helpful. Children's pool was tucked away round the back and dirty, we did report this and it was cleaned the next day. The entertainment was ok but we enjoyed it. Rooms were cleaned daily. The bar staff were great with the children, they happily made mocktails for the children. the snacks were ok but a little small. I understand this is not the hotels fault but the flies were never ending while by the pool. I would stay again.

Hotel Altura was as expected for a 3 star hotel all inclusive trip. Staff including the manager Suzanne were welcoming and friendly and quickly responded when there were any issues reported such as a loose board on a walk way one day. Repaired within 5 minutes by maintainence. Clean rooms and pool areas with a good selection of choice for main meals. Snack options were a little limited and repetitive but good to have available if wanted. The staff worked well with our TUI rep who was super supportive and we would go back again

As several other reviews have stated this is a 3* hotel at a cheap as chips price, so don't whinge when you don't get Corden bleu cooking. You will not get better value for money than the Altura. Rooms are spacious with good quality furniture, cleaned every day except Sunday. The beds are firm, showers are adequate. There is a kettle and hairdryer in the room. Food is plentiful and you can always find something you can eat. If you don't like it there is no shortage of places to eat within a 10 minute walk. The pools are clean and well maintained with plenty of sunbeds available. Alcoholic drinks are ok but the soft drinks are terrible, reminiscent of rola cola. Tea and coffee are readily available and good quality.

Absolute terrible, the food is disgusting with not much choice, we paid all exclusive and end up paying/eating out every night. Some staff are rude, beds are like sleeping on concrete.Shower dribbles out.Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just coming to the end off our stay, Hotel is clean Staff friendly, had problems with shower hardly any water pressure they tried to fix but couldn’t, spoke to other guests and they had same problem. Entertainment team when here are good but they need more on only doing entertainment 3 days and evenings a week. The food is what really let the hotel down same thing everyday with different sauces and always cold, the Al drinks get a drink from restaurant in morning before it closes as the bar doesn’t open until 11am.
