We had a brilliant experience at CIRQA and it is undeniably the best hotel we stayed in Peru. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax and pamper yourself (especially after a tour or trek!). The attention to detail, from the architecture to the luxury amenities have been well thought of and makes this a truly unique hotel stay. I was also so impressed with the service as the staff are extremely attentive and friendly and really makes you feel well-looked after. They also gave us some great recommendations on places to go in the area and on excursions. We will definitely be coming back to stay here one day and also can’t wait to try out its sister hotel in Lake Titikaka.

This hotel is truley amazing. Beauty, elegance, historical, incredible food, luxurious rooms, great location, and a staff that is truly special. David in the restaurant was so kind and gracious as was all the restaurant staff. Staying in a structure that is 500+ years old that has been modernized to luxurious standards is truly special. The spa service was also outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing massage. I thoroughly enjoyed it. We would recommend this high end hotel to all seeking a memorable experience. This hotel was highly recommended by our agent, Wimeya as boutique and a little different and for us, it worked beautifully for a number of reasons. The location is outstanding and there is no other luxury option that is such an easy short walk to the many attractions of the beautifully preserved and atmospheric colonial centre. Arequipa itself was something of a revelation at the end of a 3 week Peru trip- enchanting old town, magical volcano and mountain surroundings and no altitude issues! The room was a bit quirky to get used to at first, but after half an hour we settled in easily and our air con also started struggling on our second night- so that is clearly something management need to stay on top of. Some food options were not as good, but we did have a seafood tagliatelle that was probably our most enjoyable meal of the whole Peru trip. The atmosphere around the fire pits in the open air bar restaurant and the truly fantastic sunset pisco sours on the highest terrace bar in the Plaza de Armas drew down a very fitting curtain to a memorable trip

This spot is amazing. We stayed there for three nights. The room was so cozy and well designed. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was delicious. If you have a half board plan, you can either choose lunch or dinner. The dinner we had were outstanding. Complimentary snacks and drinks hamper. To stay there was an incredible experience. We can highly recommend it.

The staff and service were 5 star. The design and accommodations were 5 star. The food was 5 star. Checkin was rough because the hotel was not aware that we were staying more than one night. The hotel was also not aware we had bought a package online that included meals, transfers, and activities. We had to prove these items from an email confirmation. Also one of our room’s air conditioning systems malfunctioned and spilled water all over the room the first night. We received only a $10 credit for this massive inconvenience.

A very fortunate combination of modern, elegant and relaxed at same time. Every detail of this high end hotel is carefully picked from the aroma of the rooms to the material of the new architecture and design. The cocktails by the fire are not to be missed. A very special place not to be missed.

This hotel is stunningly beautiful with every detail designed to perfection, considered and tasteful. The staff were wonderful, helpful and attentive. The only downside was the food. We had to have dinner included in our booking and food was bland, and uninteresting. Think they really need to sort that as there are so many wonderful local restaurants and they didn't nearly compete for flavour. There is no buzz in restaurant as we were only dining guests so no atmosphere.

What a special place! Cirqa is gorgeous. The attention to detail in unmatched. The staff is great. The restaurant's dishes are delicious. The whole design is beautiful. We absolutely loved our stay and would love going back! The location is also very good. A very short walk to the main square and so many restaurants. Very safe.

Positives, excellent staff, lovely veranda, good location. Negatives, tiny room more like a cave than a room, hardly any light. The restaurant is so dark you need to use your mobile phone torch to read the menu, my prawn starters were burnt to a crisp and my beef main was tough. In the morning my husband ordered a bacon and onion omlette and got a plate of bacon and onions! Very weirdly the staff are all dressed as if the place is still a convent, with religious music piped out in the reception rooms, slightly spooky to be honest.
