Papua Paradise Ecoresort

Mio marito e io siamo stati qui per la prima volta! Siamo rimasti una settimana e abbiamo fatto il pacchetto immersioni all inclusive. Ti mettono in coppia con un dive master con cui rimani per tutte le tue immersioni. Avevamo Johan! È così bravo in quello che fa! Si è sempre assicurato che avessimo tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno. Mi ha dato alcuni consigli su come migliorare le mie immersioni (sono piuttosto nuova in questo). Assicurati di fare almeno un'immersione notturna! Abbiamo visto così tante cose fantastiche di notte! Etichettano tutta la tua attrezzatura subacquea con un'etichetta, il che è davvero carino, inclusa la tua muta. Le camere erano belle ma SANTA ZANZARE! Ci siamo spruzzati così tante volte al giorno che sono tornata a casa con l'aspetto di una varicella. Hanno uno spray per te nella stanza e quando ti mettono la zanzariera mettono un paio di cose nella tua stanza per aiutarti. Le zanzare sono state la parte peggiore del soggiorno. Il cibo era abbastanza buono. Fortunatamente puoi ordinare uova e pancake a colazione se non vedi niente che ti piace. Hanno acqua calda e tè disponibili tutto il giorno e uno spuntino alle 16:00. Vorrei che avessero un'opzione fredda di qualcosa disponibile. Hai una grande brocca d'acqua nella tua stanza e ti fanno riempire una bottiglia. È stato bello. Nel complesso, ho incontrato delle persone fantastiche lì. Il personale era cordiale e disponibile. I siti di immersione erano molto belli. Ho visto un sacco di cose fantastiche che non avevo mai visto prima come cavallucci marini, squali camminatori, vongole elettriche, calamari bobtail di notte, pesci coccolosi, un sacco di gamberi. Consiglio di portare la torcia e il sonaglio. Un'ultima cosa. L'hotel in cui soggiorni per rilassarti finché non vengono a prenderti è scadente. Il cibo non era molto buono. Ma almeno puoi sdraiarti e rilassarti. Inoltre, incontri il tuo dive master alla fine. Ti darà un foglio con tutti i siti di immersione e altre informazioni. È lì che gli abbiamo dato la mancia. Hanno anche una cassetta delle mance per tutto il personale nella lounge. Non chiedono mance sul conto.

Novia del servizio clienti è stata così poco disponibile che abbiamo prenotato altrove. Molto passivo-aggressiva e maleducata. Se siete una famiglia non soggiornate qui. Il resort è così poco disposto ad aiutarvi. Niente aria condizionata nelle camere e ci è stato detto che se avessimo portato il nostro bambino di 6 anni non avremmo potuto fare immersioni insieme. La soluzione è stata immergerci a giorni alterni mentre cercavano di forzare un pacchetto immersioni illimitato

This is a beautiful resort with friendly and helpful staff. We are snorkelers and they took us to wonderful coral reefs with amazing fish everywhere. We upgraded to the air conditioned room and we slept much better. Note, we live in a cold weather climate and it is hard to adjust to the heat and humidity. It's about an 80 minute boat ride from Sorong. The resort also provided a nice place to wait in Sorong for our boat to the island and for our departing flight. If you like being in the water thi is the place to be.

This place is incredible! Such a beautiful area! Private huts over the water with rays, juvenile black tip sharks, and reef fish all around! The food is so fresh and wonderfully prepared. The SCUBA diving is some of the best in the world and their dive service is first rate with small boats and best guides and crew. From the resort management to each staff member, the people were so kind and cared so much to make our experience the very best possible. It felt like we were leaving very special friends and family when it was time to come home!

Absolutely amazing resort. While not as fancy as some resorts (such as the Maldives), it more than makes up for it in the personalized service and the closeness to nature. Everyone is friendly and the staff are so proactive about your enjoyment. Nish, the manager of the dive shop, is absolutely amazing. He literally offered to loan his own sandals to my husband and let him try his personal dive mask. Only thing to be aware of is that there isn’t any air conditioning. I like to sleep in the cold so the first couple of hours at night were a bit warm but the room cooled nicely a couple of hours after the sun is down. Waking up early and watching the ocean from sun deck was magical.
