Hotel in zona Jardim do Campo do Trasladário, Arcos de Valdevez

Ottima posizione, servizio, assistenza e attenzione sia alla reception che al ristorante. Buona organizzazione per non avere problemi di mancanza di tavoli per il colazione. Colazione eccellente. Esperienza senza dubbio da ripetere e da consigliare.

We were in awe of this home. So much to explore and so much history! Loved the thick granite walls and original wooden doors/shutters with hardware, antiques and displays everywhere, beautiful view, and even a pool. It is situated in a quaint little area by a church and you can easily walk down to the river. The area around Ponte da Barca is absolutely beautiful and fun to explore. The hosts are very friendly and offered a lovely breakfast.

We picked this location as we were going to a music festival nearby and taking odd days to explore the area…in between we were hoping to chill by the pool. How disappointed were. The plastic tree that greets you in the reception, is a pretty good representation of what you are going to get…Fake, this place is soulless and fake, but what makes it worse, it’s “tired fake”. From the dirty grubby carpets and chairs, black scuff marks on the once clean white walls and the cheap Italian style melamine furniture now chipped exposing its self for what it really is .. cheap coated chipboard. The first night we booked a table for dinner, on our way out we thought we’d have a drink in the bar first. The bar was empty of customers and bar staff so we made our way to the restaurant. The food was so bad it was comical. The tenderloin I ordered was so tough it should have been served with a chainsaw on the side. Breakfast the next morning was the same odd, awkward experience. But one thing we did realise they were actually other people staying at the hotel, not couples as you’d expect in a spa hotel but large families with lots of kids. We made our way out for the day. On our return we thought we we have a few hours buy the pool, .not possible, the pool was full of screaming children. So next option, sit on the balcony with a drink.. the balcony walls had black mold on them and the wooden deck was almost rotten and didn’t feel safe. Anyway below you had more screaming kids playing ball games. The 2nd morning we woke up and noticed that the 2 coffee pods that we had on the first morning hadn’t been replaced, I asked at reception on the way out and was told I need to pay an extra 1€ per pod after the first night.? Also the shower gel and shampoo were not replenished after the 3rd day I had to go to reception again and ask for them. I could go on… basically this place made us miserable, so miserable we changed our flight home at extra cost and checked out 2 days earlier than we were booked in for, losing the money for those last 2 nights. I would not recommend staying here.

Abbiamo soggiornato qui nel corso di un viaggio di golf verso il Portogallo settentrionale, e abbiamo goduto del campo di golf che è molto buono ... se non ci sono strutture di buona pratica. L'hotel non è niente di speciale ... pulito e funzionale - nessun bar, ma si può acquistare alcol in reception per il consumo nella vostra stanza. Il personale della palestra era molto amichevole e utile. Il colazione è ok. Poiché l'hotel non ha un ristorante, abbiamo un pacchetto che ci ha consentito di mangiare nel ristorante del golf club. Il cibo qui è molto mediocre ... un menu con una scelta di due piatti per corso (più per il deserto). La mia pasta di vetro era piuttosto inevitabile in una notte, mi dispiace dire. Il personale del ristorante è molto colpito e perso ... a parte Miguel che ha provato troppo duro e ci ha guardati molto bene.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte dopo un giorno di esplorazione della bella Peneda-Geres, e dal quartiere di Lindoso il nostro GPS ci ha portati a due strade sporche diverse come strade per Rio Caldo, una più russa dell'altra. Grazie a Dio abbiamo avuto una mappa “vera” e abbiamo trovato il modo migliore sulle strade pavate. Questa è una cosa da guardare prima della vostra visita. Non ci sono alternative di cena all’ora in cui siamo arrivati all’hotel. Il ristorante dell’hotel era aperto, ma un po’ troppo formale per i nostri gusti. Un pasto casuale più leggero sarebbe stata una buona opzione nella zona del soggiorno. Ordiniamo il «Pescaggio per due» che potrebbe nutrire una famiglia di cinque. Avremmo potuto fare riferimento alla dimensione del pasto dopo aver ordinato due salate e un cestino di pane. Il pasto era molto buono, ma probabilmente la metà era gettato via. L'hotel è molto unico e l'ambiente è bellissimo. Abbiamo avuto una grande stanza con balcone e un'area separata. Questo sarebbe perfetto per una famiglia o per un soggiorno esteso. Tutto era pulito e confortevole. Il colazione era terribilemente fondamentale in un forte ambiente di caffetteria, niente di notevole. Il parcheggio all'esterno dell'hotel è conveniente, nonché la posizione per le attività cattedrali e all'aperto. Questo hotel è un buon valore, ha un sacco di fascino rurale, ma le esperienze di mangiare si allontanano da alcuni punti.

Simplesmente horrível. Foi mesmo uma grande deceção. Não recomendo!!! O nosso quarto, que era minúsculo, ficava situado na cave, o que significa que a janela ficava abaixo da rua, e por isso não era possível abrir as portadas e muito menos a janela, também não interessava, pois a vista eram os pneus de uma carro; o acesso ao quarto é por fora do edifício, ou seja, para fazer o check-in foi preciso descer 34 degraus com o trolley e com o saco de viagem, e depois foi preciso subir os 34 degraus e sair do edifício para chegar ao quarto, mas a funcionária que nos acompanhou, também não perguntou se era preciso ajuda...... e se estiver a chover não há hipótese de chegar à zona de refeições e à receção sem apanhar chuva. No quarto também não se apanhava Wi-fi. Quanto à piscina, é preciso ir de carro ou fazer uma caminhada de cerca de 20min, pois fica a 950m., aliás, a piscina fica no ”Bar da Piscina”. Era para ficarmos duas noites e apenas ficamos uma, e, porque, como chegamos por volta das 19.30h já não conseguimos reservar noutro lado para ficar nessa noite....
