Molto ben situato, sul balcone, sole fino a mezzogiorno. animazioni a 50 m. spiaggia sorvegliata 100 m. ristoranti, negozi, ghiacciai ecc tra 50 e 100 m. niente da dire, appartamento pulito e ben organizzato, bella decorazione. parcheggio privato, ascensore, piacere dai nostri vacanze

La casa è una casa in pietra, decisamente molto bella (peccato per il verde non troppo curato all'ingresso della villa) che si trova nella via principale della cittadina. Il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile, la colazione veramente ottima e con prodotti locali veramente buonissimi come le loro marmellate! Unica pecca diciamo che era la doccia perché fuoriusciva l'acqua.

I rate the Sofitel a 3 but it’s really only a 2 if I was to only judge the hotel. The location and the pool were the absolute highlight’s and for this we give a 5! Biarritz has a stunning coastline but please spend your money elsewhere! This hotel pretends to be a 5 star hotel with wellness spa. Thank goodness I had not planned my trip around the spa itself. I think if this was in Australia, it would be shut down. When you take the lift to the spa , you arrive into a waste land! Depending on which way you arrive, it is a rabbit warren of empty corridors, closed doors with French signage! I couldn’t even find the toilet. After paying $700 AUD for 3 treatments, you would expect a warm welcome, and someone assisting you to your next treatment. No not here, you are on your own (naked in a robe) trying to ask for directions to the next room however nobody speaks English. My treatment was booked with a Physiotherapist however I think she was barely qualified for a massage! Highlights from my family were the soft robes and spacious rooms, big beds with cozy mattresses toppers and soft linen. Great valet and reception but that’s it for service. Pool is saltwater and perfectly cool! We could not find the indoor pool

Spent 2 nights here for a short break, as we love Biarritz. It was our first visit to this hotel. It is centrally situated, making it an ideal base for exploring the town. We received a warm welcome at check-in and were delighted with our 3rd floor room. We booked a prestige room with a sea view, which was a good decision and well worth the money. The room was spacious and comfortable. Very good bed and bedding. The coffee machine was appreciated, as was the fridge stocked with complimentary soft drinks. These were topped up daily. The bathroom and separate toilet were spacious and well furnished with toiletries. Bath robes and slippers were provided. I especially loved the anti-fog mirror. The shower was powerful, with plenty of hot water. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, but did use the bar for a drink and a planche of charcuterie and cheeses, which were delicious. All staff were friendly and eager to help. I was surprised that although the hotel is classed as a monument, there is no information on its history in the rooms. To me, that is a selling point which should be well publicised. We had to check the internet for information on the background of the hotel, which is fascinating. It would be well worth printing off a page and leaving it in the rooms. Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be returning.

We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is conveniently situated and in a quiet location. We arrived by train and took a taxi to the hotel. It is only a short ride but the town centre and hotel is an uphill journey; alternatively, there is a funicular which can be used to avoid the uphill section. We walked to the train/bus station for our excursions on public transport and also when leaving Pau. A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable and the shower good. A very good breakfast was provided. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Pau.

Il luogo è in città, vicino al monastero, ricevendo elevati segni per la posizione. E 'una proprietà 2*, quindi il fascino non è una parola che si ricorda. Non aveva acqua bottigliata né impianti di caffè. Il personale era utile. Le camere sono sul primo e secondo piano [2d e 3d per gli americani del Nord] ma c'è un ascensore. Eri un compagno di ali lungo la strada. Era in una zona tranquilla. La stanza era grande. C'era un sapone individuale e una bottiglia di spruzzatura nel doccia per lavare i capelli/corpo. Il mio sonno non era buono, ma non faccio duvet pesanti. La brekkie era sul piano principale, costava 10 euro. Era buono Il wifi non era protetto password. Era annoiante che dovesse essere riattivato ogni volta che il computer era chiuso. Se hai bisogno di più da un hotel ci sono altre opzioni in città. Se hai solo bisogno di una stanza per visitare alcune delle vinierie, va bene perfetto.
