Pousada Aguape

Fantastic lodge to stay! The wildlife walks around as if they are pets and are very friendly and approachable. The lodges have a cute chilling area with hangmat and relaxing places. Amazing excursions during the day, you will see so many amazing animals and go on the water, on a horse and in a jeep. Everything’s possible. Inbetween you have enough time to relax and tan at the pool.

Personel is friendly, cheerful, helpful and always thinking in solutions , just great Information is well provided , if not there is a dedicate guide present that is nearby to help you out. We had a great guide , named Vino, former cowboy that knew a lot about the area , animals and their habitat. He explained a lot in English , super There is a lot to experience , most of the time 2 events are scheduled during the day, one in the early morning and one in the late afternoon so you can relax in between and enjoy the surroundings Board and lodging is good , rooms are clean and cost, the food is great . The pool ,dining area and pool are also very nice

We had an excellent stay at Pousada Aguape and highly recommend staying here while visiting the pantanal! The lodge was perfect and had everything we needed, from wide ranging activities, to leisure and downtown, and great food. Everyone at Aguape was very friendly, too! We did a lot of research when booking our trip and we’re so happy that we stayed here. We’ll be recommending it to all future friends who visit the pantanal. If you’re looking for an English speaking guide during your trip, make sure to ask for Liliane! She was an amazing guide and was with us for the duration of our stay. She’s incredibly friendly, puts a lot of effort into making sure the tours are comprehensive, and has a ton of passion for the pantanal. We enjoyed our stay in the posada very much. The tours were great and and the the guides made them an unforgettable experience. Especially our private guide Alessandra was very knowledgeable and spoke very good english. Also the food was excellent and the whole staff very friendly and helpful. In the area of the posada you could spend hours watching all the different animals passing by! Thanks a lot!!

This is the most amazing place I have ever stayed. The location is absolutely astounding with so much wildlife to see in the hotel grounds. The excursions are well organised and very personal (we were pretty the only people on all of our trips). The guides really make an effort to show you the best of the Pantanal and all of the animals. The hotel facilities are also fantastic. The pool is very nice and well maintained. The rooms are luxuriously appointed and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. The food in the hotel was delicious at breakfast, lunch and dinner - real home cooked Brazilian food. We liked the self serve bar concept too, it made things more relaxed. Finally, the staff are the key highlight. The woman on front reception spoke impeccable English and was so helpful and kind (including sorting our transfers). Then staff serving food were so friendly and made us laugh watching them play with the armadillos. The tour guides were relaxed, friendly and informative and really made the trips special. I can’t recommend this place enough

Een werkelijk zeer aangename plek! Het is een boerderij midden in de Pantanal met veel vee (paarden, koeien, schapen enz) waar heel veel wilde dieren vrij rondlopen en zeer welkom zijn. Bijzondere aardige en gastvrije bewoners. Er zijn pakweg een stuk of 12 kamers voor gasten. De gasten komen van over de hele wereld en eten gezamenlijk. Ook de deelnemers aan de vele excursies zijn daardoor internationaal. Als solo-reiziger ben je nooit alleen en heb je met iedereen genoeg gespreksstof. Er wordt Engels gesproken door al het personeel. Er zijn diverse soorten excursies: boot- en jeepsafari's zowel overdag als in de avond, paardrij- en wandeltochten.
