Hotel in zona Shuttle Smith Adventures, Aptos

L'anno scorso si è migliorato, questa volta la nostra stanza aveva una schermata sulla porta di vetro scivolante, impedendo così l'ingresso di insetti. Anche questa volta sembra che le restrizioni Covid siano state rilassate perché c'era colazione (cereali, frutta, yogurt, waffles, tosta, uova o altre proteine), c'era un'immediata farina di ovo, ma solo i gusti di zucchero erano disponibili. Il bagno non ha alcun trattamento per la scivola. Ancora una volta, la stanza era pulita e confortevole, il servizio era buono. Abbiamo pianificato di tornare.

Non doveva mai scrivere questo cattivo di un recensione. E'stata una terribile esperienza per quello che ho passato. La prima impressione della ricezione frontale era cattiva. 2 ricevitori, uno al telefono aiutando una signora con un problema. Sembrava molto stressata. Il signore ci ha aiutato a fare una linea, e quando era il mio turno, la mia carta non passava. Quando la signora ricevente era stata chiamata, sembrava che avesse un'inconvenienza mentale. Egli decise di provare la mia carta da parte sua e fu processato con successo. Non mi spiegava né mi diede istruzioni sulla chiave. La chiave doveva lavorare gli ascensori e la potenza nelle stanze dovevo scoprire da solo. Non ha offerto né spiegato il parcheggio, sono tornato dopo aver scaricato le nostre cose e abbiamo scoperto che non c'era posto per parcheggiare. Il ricevitore ha appena lavorato la mia carta. Sono rimasto 3 notti e nessuno è entrato nella mia stanza per prendere il rifiuti o prendere i vestiti sporchi. L’unica cosa che hanno fatto è stato mettere un set di vestiti puliti la notte prima del mio check-out giorno e questo’è accaduto. Mi è stato dato una stanza accessibile. Non ne ho chiesto uno. Una luce su una stand notturna è stata smontata. Ho trovato più biglietti di lotto all'interno del letto. Il manico di carta da bagno è stato rotto. Per il resto..... che tipo di bar si chiude alle 8? Il barista non sembrava professionale o benvenuto. Quando ho controllato, mi sono chiesto come volevo il mio ricevimento. Su carta o email. Le ho detto che preferisco ricevere un mail. Ho controllato circa le 8 e sono arrivato alle 435 e non ho ricevuto il mio mail. Le uniche persone che dirò che erano sorprendenti al loro lavoro erano i camerieri. Sono stati amici, aiutanti e hanno fatto il loro lavoro.

Abbiamo avuto un ultimo minuto di prenotazione per un fine settimana a Santa Cruz per visitare il Boardwalk. Cerchiamo un hotel amico della famiglia. La posizione è grande, è a piedi distanza dalla Boardwalk. Le immagini all'esterno dell'hotel sono sicuramente migliorate, personalmente l'hotel sembra timido e il loro segno è svanito. Eravamo al secondo piano, quando entrava nella stanza sembrava bello. Ho girato il cappuccio e si è battuto, ma alla fine si è fatta la temperatura dove volevamo. Due dei camion erano rotti e costretti a rimanere chiusi, che hanno tenuto la stanza più buia di quanto ci piacesse. Il bagno è terribile e la luce in esso è troppo morbido, è troppo buio. Non era solo il bagno, le pareti o il pavimento. L'intera camera da bagno deve essere riparata. Il telaio è anche molto sporco. E' un blu scuro, credo con un modello. La stanza ha un odore di merda. Ancora una volta, paghi per la posizione, ma il bagno e il tappeto hanno fatto sentire la stanza a buon mercato. Le pareti sono molto sottili, si può sentire camminare e abbiamo persone che stavano vicino alla nostra stanza che stava per sbattere la loro porta. Sarei rimasto lì per un viaggio veloce se fossi andato a The Boardwalk.

I stayed from March 31-April 2. The room is reserved to accommodate two adults. When I checked in the front desk I was given door hanger that if I wanted to re-use the towels that there is a points credit to do so. First thing I notice - I was not offered any drinks/snack but instead I got my welcome amenity in points. When I enter the room the first thing I noticed was the chipped tub (really big ones) . The room was clean overall. On April 1, after a long work day, I returned to my room (around 9:30pm) and found the bed was not made up and the towels were not replaced. I called the front desk (Shery - white female) and she told me that since I get the points for not getting the towels wash that I will not get my new towels. I said I did not hang the green door hangar because I want new towels I also asked why the bed is not made up. She said I must have put the do not disturb sign. I told her I did not put any sign at the doors at all and when we left that morning , the cleaners are right outside. I asked her what I need to do to get new towels (trying to overlook the non made up bed). Disdainfully, she said I will not get any towels since I receive points (the points I received btw are for the amenity - not the towel re-use). I told her take away the points she said she can’t and that I will not get any more towels —- I asked for the manager and she said she is the only one there. Instead of trying to be a good host to customer, she refuse to acknowledge my request for a long time before she finally gave in and told me to come down the front desk and pickup the towel (not even ordered to deliver them). This is the worst service I received from Holiday Inn Express that is considered as 4 stars accommodation). I have always stayed with Holiday Inn on business trips but I have not been treated this bad from a front desk manager. I had the choice to go to Hampton inn in the area but I chose to stay at Holiday Inn and now I fully regret choosing Holiday Inn at Watsonville. I am hoping this is just one bad front desk manager and not the norm on how paying customers are to treated. Very very disappointed. I strongly NOT recommend going to this Holiday Inn in Watsonville. I often not give any bad review and try to understand the situation but this one i just cannot ignore. - Brigitte

Molte volte a Santa Cruz... per la prima volta a quattro punti, andare in strutture hotel tradizionali di stile decorativo... è molto ritardato! Le camere degli ospiti, le camere da letto sono molto grandi...ma non ci sono altri bagni per lavastoviglie oltre al tovagliolo...Forse ora gli hotel stranieri hanno requisiti ambientali! Il suono non è buono.Il suono della porta della stanza accanto è chiaro.E'la principale carenza... Tutti gli altri sono a posto!
