We had a great stay, everything was clean and practical. Great price for what you get, stay was including breakfast. Breakfast had enough choices, unlimited coffee & tea, freshly baked goods. Location was good, you're in the middle of everything. 15 minutes away from the city center. The host was friendly. Everything we need.

I dnt recommend to go to this place. The bed is horrible, the bath was not clean and breakfast didn't look/taste fresh . Told the owner but she only writed it down and didn't give any compensation. I visit this place in march 2024. Payed 100 euro for one night..

Wij kwamen aan om ongeveer 15:00-16:00 Personeel was aardig maar de kamers zijn echt onacceptabel voor een bedrag van €80 een kamer bij 4X4 een een badkamer waar de schimmel niet te vermijden is en met een bed van 140cm in de breedte voor 2 personen kan je een mens voor €80 niet aan doen toen wij met de eigenaar in gesprek gingen om hem te vragen waarom het op de site er netjes uit ziet en vervolgens een bed van 140cm krijgen voor 2 personen kregen wij als reactie er stond op de site dat het een bed van 140cm was ik heb in mijn hele leven nog nooit naar een afmeting van een hotelbed hoeven kijken een studentenhuis is nog beter dan waar ik mij deze twee nachten in heb moeten verblijven ontbijt was verder wel prima aardig personeel maar die kamers zijn onacceptabel ik hoop dat ze hier op reflecteren

Ik had onze kamer via Hotelspecials geboekt en netjes door hun bevestigd gekregen. We waren iets eerder bij het hotel om in te checken, maar helaas was er niemand aanwezig. We vonden het hotel er aan de buitenkant niet aantrekkelijk uitzien. Gedateerd en onverzorgd. Maar goed, het was maar voor een nachtje. Ook al kregen we bij het lezen van de recensies een beetje een ongemakkelijk gevoel. We zijn de stad ingegaan en kwamen om 7 uur weer terug om in te checken. De receptie zelf is ook een beetje smoezelig en ziet er onprofessioneel uit. De eigenaar kwam vanuit een achterkamer, waar ze blijkbaar zelf wonen, en vroeg wat ik kwam doen. Euhhhh, inchecken? Dat kon niet, hij zat al weken vol. Ik liet mijn reservering zien, maar volgens hem kon dat niet. Geen plek, pech, tot ziens. En daar stonden we dan. Vervolgens 1 1/2 uur doorgebracht met het bellen en zoeken op internet naar een beschikbaar hotel. Alles in de buurt zat vol. Uiteindelijk konden weer terecht bij het Bastion in Amersfoort, een half uur rijden verderop. Uiteraard navraag gedaan bij hotelspecials. Die reageerden snel en netjes als volgt: Het hotel bepaald zelf hun beschikbaarheid op onze website. Wij hebben jouw boeking op 28 september bevestigd aan het hotel. Vervelend dat jouw boeking uiteindelijk toch geen doorgang heeft kunnen vinden en dat er ter plekke niet is meegedacht aan een oplossing. Daar er niks aan ons betaald hoefde te worden kunnen wij hier helaas geen compensatie voor geven. Daar we toch iets voor je willen betekenen bied ik je graag aan om bij een volgende boeking de servicekosten (10,- of 15,- euro) op ons te nemen. Wij gaan in ieder geval nooit meer naar dit hotel en raden anderen ook af om dit te doen! Het valt echt heel erg tegen!
