Hi! Thanks for your interest in our space. This is an awesome studio apartment for 1-2 people who want something affordable and walkable to many restaurants/bars, and the waterfront. Please read the full description for a better understanding of the space and a few things to keep in mind before booking. This is a ground floor studio apartment, 2 blocks away from central Little Italy with a kitchenette (no full kitchen) - very similar to a hotel room. Please note that the unit is on the ground floor, there is no designated parking space, and the door opens to the sidewalk, so you will hear normal city noise of passerby’s, cars, plus occasional footsteps from upstairs. If you’re looking for something affordable, walkable to Little Italy, Waterfront Park, Convention Center, with comfortable basic amenities, this is an excellent studio apartment! If you’re someone who would be more comfortable in a hotel, won’t sleep well with city noise, or is uncomfortable being so close to the street, this may not be the place for you. Just a quick stroll to the famous Little Italy, or popular attractions like Waterfront Park and Embarcadero. Convenience store and coffee around the corner. Extra linens and towels are also kept on hand as well as black out curtains in the bedroom.The room is downstairs of the house privately. Private entrance, patio, backyard, hot tub, fire pit, bathroom, and bedroom. We are in the house upstairs, but would only bump into each other if by chance outside when leaving or entering the property. The utmost privacy and perfect secluded getaway is guaranteed.We live in a quiet, family neighborhood. Quiet hours are 10p to 8a inside and outside and are monitored closely. There are no other guests, loud music, or parties inside or outside of premises. Please be cognizant of noise when leaving and exiting the property and getting in and out of cars/Ubers on the street. There will be a $100 noise disturbance fee if quiet hours are not observed.All guests are provided this advance notice as I want to be sure you’re happy with the property.*This home is privately owned and managed; the owners assume NO liability for any accidents, injuries or illness that may occur while on the premises or facilities. The owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. They will arrive on property through the side gate and be on property for a short period of time. It features 1 luxurious queen bed and a deluxe air mattress, a comfortable couch, a cozy kitchen, a full bath, a balcony, 1 off-street parking space, HD TV in every room, blazing fast WIFI, and access to our shared large courtyard with BBQ.This is the ideal place for a great vacation. There are downstairs neighbors, so We are not a party house.It's cute. It's quirky. It feels like a camp, but it's 100ft to the beach and in the middle of everything Ocean Beach and San Diego have to offer. Within 2 blocks of restaurants, bars, shops, yoga studios, fishing, and surfing. Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf. We are blocks from some of San Diego's most iconic beach spots. Have a hamburger at Hodad's or get a scoop of ice cream between two flavored freshly made mini-waffles at Lighthouse. Also, eating at the quirky restaurant way out at the end of the Ocean Beach Pier is something that shouldn't be missed. Of course, there is a BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out. After lunch, head back home and take a nap or relax on the deck. If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away on Newport Ave for the original artwork. At night, you have a number of really incredible options. On one of the nights of your stay, you have to walk down the beach and have a bonfire in one of the beach fire pits. It's an absolute imperative... a must do beach experience. The smell and sound of the ocean, the feel of the sand, the smell of the fire, the taste of the s'mores...... We also have the restaurant Bo Beaujust a couple blocks away for a romantic dinner. Try the lobster risotto. ...and there are so many other great restaurants within walking distance: Kaiserhoff, OB Noodle House, etc For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look to your left. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away.
