Appartamenti a Ramsgate

Very friendly staff. Hotel appeared newly painted in various areas. Our room was of a good size, very clean and comfortable with large on suite facility. The dinning room / bar facility was comfortable and had a good atmosphere. The dinner menu was limited but reasonably priced and well cooked. The Continental breakfast was a good spread of various options. There is ample free parking on the road outside the hotel and approximately 12 spaces at the rear of the hotel. Overall our stay was a pleasant experience.

Pleasant, character hotel overlooking the harbour. Friendly staff. warm rooms and bathroom smart and clean. Nice shower. We had a family room which overlooked the back not the harbour. The stairs are steep and not for the elderly and four flights up. The boys liked the room and hotel. The garden Furniture looked a bit dated and the fridge for the min bar needed a clean. Pleasant hotel, check which room you are getting and nice view of the harbour from the sitting room. Middle price range. Handy for Ramsgate. We enjoyed our weekend. Minor things the uht milk cartons had gone off and no biscuits supplied with the tea - I'm GF anyway but might have been nice gesture and for the boys. Lots of lovely towels and very clean beds and had a good nights sleep. There was a chair in the room which was handy but could have done with more coat hangers for a family room. The offered to let us leave our luggage for the day if we needed after checking out. Nice of them :-)

We went for a two night stay over the new year, hotel reception staff were very friendly and rooms very nice, my king size room was lovely except for a couple of things that need to be looked at I felt there wasn’t enough lighting in the room it was quite dark in the bathroom and in the main room only one side of the bed had a light other than those minor issues the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss with the service when it arrived the breakfast was very good but they only serve sourdough bread which I fill is a bit shortsighted as not everyone likes sourdough bread. We were there for the new year celebrations the the food wasn’t great we think they were trying to be too arty the artichoke soup was in a shot glass my main meal had a fondant potato but it wasn’t cooked properly I told the waiter who took it back but all they did was zap it in the microwave so I returned it again and had something else. When the DJ arrived my friend asked for a song request but was told no I’m playing my music and two other people asked but was told to go away, we only realised it was 12 o’clock when we saw fireworks being let off outside she didn’t even acknowledge it was midnight and now 2025 while she was getting carried away with her music we were singing auld lang syne it was quite amusing really. Other guests complained and eventually she did change the style of music she was playing. It seemed to be organised by a young team and that is most probably why the DJ was playing her music and not realising that a lot of guests would have preferred a different type of music. My friend did email the hotel a couple of days later but had no response. We were told new management had taken over a couple of months ago so hopefully these things will be rectified
