This cabin sits deep in the ponderosa pine trees. 1940's era studio cabin offers an open and functional floor plan in a quiet and serene location. Get to our cabin by using the fully paved roads. Located approximately 20 minutes to historic downtown Flagstaff and Northern Arizona University Campus. Multiple hiking trails less than a 10 minute drive. South Rim visitor of the Grand Canyon is 65 miles. Meteor Crater is only 33 miles, Sunset Crater 8 miles, Wupatki Indian Ruins 23 miles, and Walnut Canyon 6 miles. Beautiful Lockett Meadow is a short 9 miles away. Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon 34 miles. Twins Arrows Casino is 15 miles away. For you snowboarders/skiers Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort is only a short 16 miles away.Guests will have complete access to entire cabin. We like to call this monster of a cold plunge, “The Griz!” It’s a great way to ease sore muscles, increase dopamine levels, relieve pain and stress, and much more!***We do not permit smoking in or on the property.******As much as we love pets, we unfortunately do not allow them during your stay.******Service animals are welcome. Roberta's Place is a private getaway that provides all you need for a great stay in Flagstaff, no matter your reason for visiting. Roberta's Place is named after Jacob's late mom. She was such an inspiration to all she knew and our hope is that her legacy may live on with a memorable trip to Flagstaff.The space, Roberta's Place, is a fully functioning one bedroom apartment complete with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, and washer and dryer. It is built on to the back of our home. You will park in our driveway (1 space provided) and walk along the house to your own private entrance.Guest accessThe entire space is closed off and private from our primary residence. We are on site should you need assistance, but there are no shared spaces besides the driveway and patio.Other things to noteWe are a family with kids that live on the property. Its location is central to both sides of Flagstaff, so it's a breeze to find anything you would want. Heading to Snowbowl or the Grand Canyon? Get there easily from our home! Grab a coffee, pizza or some Mexican food on the way! This home is on the side of our main house and is inaccessible from our home. You have your own private entrance as well as a sweet sitting area in front of your entrance. The home features an upstairs loft with a comfortable Queen size bed, and downstairs has a mini couch, that turns into a twin size bed for your convenience .This property is ideal for adults 21 years of age or older. Unfortunately it is not kid friendly, nor pet friendly due to the size and also because of the ladder in the home. The ladder is sturdy and secure, yet very steep. The only access point up to the loft is to climb this ladder, so a lien waiver is required to be signed when this property is booked.
