Hotel in zona Den Wolsack, Antwerp

My stay in this modern hotel was good. The check in was smooth. As the rooms are equipped with a system of electronic cards, it can be a bit complicated if your card isn’t activated (that was my case). The lift doesn’t move if your card isn’t activated. The room was standard, with a modern shower. Consider that the room isn’t cleaned every day. In my case, a 2-night stay, the room was cleaned at all. The releasing of “preserving the environment” is a bit too easy. The hotel saves a lot of money, but the price remains the same :-( Breakfast was good, either a variety of continental food.

Came by the other day and it was a decent experience, although with some bizarre quirks. Booked direct for the ”Executive Family Studio with Kitchen” and the front desk agent printed out a contract with a ”Deluxe Studio.” When I inquired about the difference, another employee quickly chimed in that I ”got upgraded” and my original room had no kitchen?!? As the ”Executive Studio with Kitchen” has kitchen in the name, I inquired a second time, and the employee raised her voice saying that the room was the same?!? A 3rd employee eventually came in, after reviewing their own website, and started talking about the Penthouse suite (completely irrelevant?!?). Attempted to use the laundry room located behind the secure door using my keycard and had to answer 21 questions to the front desk agent with my room number, my full name, and the company I was representing (all with a load of dirty laundry in my arms), which was completely bizarre. At 7 am, the agent claimed that someone on my floor booked a taxi?!? (also completely irrelevant?!?) The studio itself was pretty spacious, although with some quicks. For example, the bathroom was dated, unlike the pictures on the website. More importantly, it was bizarre to have a handheld shower installed on the long side of the bathtub, vs the short side?!? ...also might have been helpful to use a curved shower curtain to make showering less claustrophobic... Water pressure was usable although the shower curtain had a strange smell... Highlights of the studio included the comfortable bed, although slightly lumpy in areas, with quality sheets and towels. The kitchen itself was modern and fully stocked, including 2 bottles of water in the kitchen. The ”welcome gift” appeared to be the 2 dishwashing tablets and manual dishwashing liquid... Booking direct, the confirmation indicated that there would be a ”welcome drink upon arrival” Perhaps the 2 bottles of water in the fridge was it?!? Other anomalies included super dark lighting at night. The lighting was insufficient in the dining area, which made it quite dark to work and read in. There was a freestanding light that helped provide additional lighting in the sleeping area. It was also odd to see that the room number listed on my in room telephone was different from the one on my door?!? The laundry room was complimentary and fantastic! There was also complimentary laundry detergent. A wash takes 2-3 hours and a dry takes 1+ hour. The signage against the wall with instructions on how to use the washing machine didn't match the actual washing machine which was confusing at best...

Camera molto vicina alla stazione (principalmente fuori). Camera spaziosa. Camere confortevoli (camera gemella). Aria condizionata buona (anche se è stato difficile lavorare - un piccolo pulsante sulla parte superiore destra del controllo da porta). Doccia buona. Camera molto pulita. Il vetro doppio ha tenuto fuori suono (come molto vicino ai pub e ai ristoranti). Wifi era molto povero. Difficile collegare con i dispositivi multipli. Anche come detto, non c'era alcuna informazione su come usare l'aria condizionata. Era molto caldo. Infine, ho capito quale pulsante per premere i controlli. Corridori molto rumorosi. Nella mattinata ho sentito il rumore e il pavimento vibrato quando qualcuno camminava. Eravamo anche vicino alla stazione dell'hotel, e anche molti ristoranti e pub, così non poteva aprire la finestra così rumorosa.

Grande!La posizione dell'hotel è vicino alla famosa stazione ferroviaria centrale di Antwerpen. La stanza è grande e pulita. L'atteggiamento del personale di servizio è gentile. Il parcheggio è un po'di distanza. Il colazione è molto comune.

E' stato un piacevole soggiorno in hotel. Era pulito e pulito. Non ha usato servizio colazione. L'unico punto critico è che l'organizzazione di viaggio non ha annunciato in anticipo l'uso del parcheggio, che era pari a 19 euro al giorno, e che alla fine era pagato la metà. Inoltre, non c'era un bollettino informativo sulle strutture dell'hotel. (contenitore/continuazione/telefono/illuminazione/televisione/pulizia)

Contro amico e permetteto di andare alla mia camera gemella 4 ore prima. Hotel molto pulito con asciugamani e acqua fornita. Non ci sono giacche, ma credo che questo deve essere Bea belga. La stazione è al contrario, ma è a 20 minuti a piedi dalla vecchia città. Bene per me, ma alcuni potrebbero voler stare più vicini. La passeggiata è la strada principale. In generale penso che sia un grande valore. Come nota agli altri ospiti, e io scrivo sempre questo, si prega di essere più considerati quando parlare nei corridoi, soprattutto prima delle 8:00. Whisper, le tue eco eco e i tuoi medici sono come te urla. E non permettere che le porte chiudono la schiena!!

Small, clean, affordable hotel located next to Central station. The room was basic but cute and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. We had a double bed with a twin bed bunk bed above which was perfect for our family of 3. There’s soap and towels, but no shampoo, hairdryer, kettle, or aircon. The window opens only a few inches, unless you get them to unlock it. We brought a portable fan, so that helped on such a warm day. There’s a Lidl supermarket next door and a cafe a block away. A couple blocks away is the diamond district with an interesting mixture of Hasidic Jews and middle eastern Muslim immigrants. The city is very walkable from here. From the station, the Meir is about 10 minutes walk and the Grote Markt is about 20 minutes.

Nice and clean hotel, good parking space back of the hotel and good breakfast , good location close to highway and 10 minutes walk from the tram stop 9.

Molto buono. I dipendenti del desk front sono eccellenti, fanno davvero il loro lavoro e ti trattano sempre con un sorriso. L'hotel è bello, la camera è una buona dimensione e i letti sono comodi. La sala fitness e la piscina sono fantastiche, amo la decorazione intorno alla piscina, il ristorante è bello e il colazione è davvero buono. ( questo è un colazione alberghiero che si dovrebbe guardare in attesa) La posizione dell'hotel era buona, come 15 minuti a piedi dal centro di Anversa e c'è un supermercato a meno di 10 minuti a piedi ( Albert Heiijn ) Il parcheggio all'esterno dell'hotel è gratuito, ma è sempre stato molto occupato, quindi paghiamo per parcheggio all'interno dell'hotel.
