Hotel in zona Mermerli Beach, Antalya

Second time staying at this hotel and will be the last. I booked three rooms, one of which was a suite. Size-wise, it was very good, but that is all. The cleanliness was disgusting. I moved a chair and found items left by previous guests behind. The carpets had not been hoovered and were dirty, old, and ripped. When I moved the bed to pick up a pen I dropped, there was a HUGE hole in the carpet under the bed. The bathroom was the thing that let the room down completely it was DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY, and the hairdryer had exposed wires (hubby got a shock the first time using, it and didn't touch it again) The bath was BLACK we used slippers to stand in and have a shower, shower head kept sliding down the pole it was placed on ( even though reported it and it was fixed, (NOT) the light above the entrance door kept flickering again I reported it was fixed, (NOT as it kept doing it) The living room had a sofa made up of 2 ends of 2 different sofas, there was no lighting except the flickering one over the entrance door so we were unable to sit and read or talk as it was too dark in room. We had the room cleaned every other day (I say cleaned) the maid took the tip left on the bed, pulled sheets up, and replaced towels. I had to ask to have the bed changed as it had only been changed once in 9 days, and toiletries were never replaced. The restaurant is very nice and the breakfast is very very nice and has lots of choices, dinner buffet was good on some nights but a bit mediocre on others, but value for money. I don't like to post bad reviews as I have worked in this industry and know it hard, that is why I always carry my own cleaning chemicals when I travel. We have used Best Western before and have not had any serious issues but this time has closed a door for us with this company. The area around the hotel is very central everything is on your doorstep another side of that is that it's DIRTY, with cigarette butts, and rubbish everywhere. Staff were majority pleasant and polite with the odd exception that should learn how to smile and say Hello. I heard that they are refurbishing the hotel, maybe if our room had been refurbished it wouldn't have spoilt our holiday but my one piece of advice to management is please give your staff a bit of CUSTOMER focused training and definitely train them on Cleaning standards. I did ask for the General Manager's email so I could send him my review rather than go public but apparently according to the receptionist he does not have one,( go figure.)

Sembra che il layout della decorazione sia tornato negli hotel domestici. molto familiare. La camera è grande, confortevole, pulita e completamente attrezzata. Sul balcone sono presenti sedie a sdraio e un semplice stendibiancheria. La colazione è ricca e presenta una varietà di scelta. La piscina dell'hotel può accedere direttamente alla spiaggia della scogliera, che è molto bella. I bambini hanno giocato a lungo in mare e in piscina. Ci sono molti ascensori nell'hotel. Se trovi l'ascensore giusto, puoi risparmiare molta camminata. C'è un bellissimo parco sul mare nelle vicinanze. Anche il servizio dell'hotel è molto buono. Poiché ero ad Antalya, ho soggiornato solo per una notte, ma sento ancora di aver fatto la scelta giusta!

Had a fantastic week with my family we took three rooms, mine was overlooking the mountains, sea, hotel pool and was fantastic. The other two rooms were also stunning, only down side were they were to hot during the night with the air con not working properly and to be fair we didn't mention it to reception, food was delicious every evening and breakfasts fantastic with loads of choice, drinks package, catered for everyone, the front of house desk needs to inprove thou, we had a alacart, dinner one evening which turned into a farce, seven of us in total, gave orders, when mains arrived only six were served and were stone cold, seventh arrived 15 minutes later again cold, best advise server could offer was to have them reheated, which for us was a no no , mentioned at front reception next morning and they couldn't understand why we were complaining? Eventually a manager who got why we were complaining and arranged for us to expierence the rixos alacart the following evening, we arrived and had to move the tables so we could sit together, the food was served, again one of our guests almost had her meal poured over her, which the waiter didnt react, he could have apologised, and changed the table cloth, anyway another poor impression of fine dining, didn't even bother mentioning to front of house ad they seemed un interested on our first fine dining expierence, Also, two of us playing in the huge swimming pool on our own, hardly anyone used it, as it was so cold, the lifeguard asked us to stop playing pass with a soft ball, even with the pool been empty , fun police I fear,the highlight thou is the beach bar, fantastic atmosphere, fantastic staff, tried land of legends, loved it roller-coasters, we swam with dolphins, the braver ones went in with the sharks, fabulous place, loved it, finally apart from one or two hicups, would definitely recommend this hotel and area, we had the best time, but could have been better

Tutto sul nostro soggiorno era eccellente. Torniamo a akra per le nostre feste d'anniversario, akra è stato consapevole di questo guardandoci e la nostra occasione per sempre.dal decorare la nostra stanza ai regali di bevande, torte, e un regalo di mantenimento è stato lasciato nella nostra stanza in diversi giorni, l'ospitalità era 10/10 Entrambi i tempi, da l'ubicazione al personale e tutte le strutture che l'hotel ha da offrire sono stati assolutamente sorprendenti.La zona di fiamme e la sauna Ans nuoto sono stati un vero trattamento alla fine del nostro giorno.L'hotel mantiene i suoi standard elevati promessi.We Lo amavo di nuovo se Im fortunata per visitare Antalya, Akra Defo sarebbe il mio posto per soggiornare,la posizione è perfetta,in raggiungimento di tutto ciò che un turista avrebbe bisogno.. Prenota e soggiorna.Im sicuramente avrete lo stesso da dire.

An amazing hotel with such lovely staff. The food was delicious, facilities clean, and a lot of things to do. They really went the extra mile for me and my friend, they even decorated to room for her birthday, will definitely be returning!!

Приятный отель, чистый. Основной минус окна номера выходили на улицу где главный вход и было достаточно шумно из-за проезжающего транспорта, особой разницы между открытым и закрытым окном нет. Ремонт свежий, но начинают появляться следы износа. До пляжа минут 10, по пути: пустырь, оживленная дорога, местами отсутствие тротуаров. Улица с ресторанами прям рядом, там немного дешевле чем на первой линии. Уборку не поняла - была 4 ночи, на момент заезда идеально чисто полотенца свежие, на первый день сменили полотенца, на второй день я отказалась, на третий надеялась что хотя бы пол пропылесосят песок с пляжа…но нет. Завтраки скромные, сырно-колбасная нарезка, оливки, сухие завтраки, вареные яйца, какие-то фритюрные рулеты с сыром или жареные сосиски и много всякого варенья хорошего качества. Вообщем отель за свои деньги неплохой, но есть пара нюансов, я бы скорее вернулась.

İş amaçlı konaklama gerçekleştirdiğim tesis beklentimin çok üzerinde bir oda kalitesi ile beni karşıladı. Özellikle oda içerisindeki ekipman çeşitliliği ve kalitesi üst seviyede. Hayatı otellerde geçmiş birisi olarak gönül rahatlığıyla belirteceğim, böylesine kaliteli bir yatakta daha önce uyumamıştım. Ayrıca konum olarak şehrin çok ideal bir noktasında, Akdeniz Üniversitesi ile yan yana denebilir. Tesisin altında bulunan cadde mağazaları da neredeyse her türlü ihtiyacınızı karşılayacak durumdadır. Uzun süreli konaklamalar için de oldukça uygun. Kesinlikle konaklamanızı tavsiye ederim. Çalışanlar çok güler yüzlü ve oldukça profesyoneller. Her şey için çok teşekkürler Casamax Suites

Magnifique hôtel pour un séjour en famille, excellente nourriture variée chaque jour avec du choix. Personnel accueillant et aux petits soins et une qualité de service extraordinaire, le ´roller boy’ toujours là pour nous servir au bord de la piscine. L’animation (activités et soirées) par Yupi et son équipe, est varié, pour tous les goûts On ne se lasse pas de la vue de la chambre côté mer qui est superbe.

Let’s start off with the hotel itself ; when we arrived we were greeted with a smile from all staff, from the moment we stepped through the doors to the moment we were escorted with our luggage to our rooms & throughout our whole stay. That was a great start for our holiday. Although the rooms may be outdated to other peoples taste but honestly it was fine as we had an amazing view (great for the sunsets & sunrises which I will upload). However the house keeping could be more mindful with the cleaning of the room as my friend had to clean the room with them as they were not cleaning well for what I would expect at a 5* hotel. Room service: We ordered a few things from the menu which came promptly and fresh. We had the option to pay for it then and there with cash in Lira or Euro. Or you could pay at the end of your leave. Amenities: At the time of visiting, the outside pool was closed as this was not the season time but if you do do come at peak times , they have a water slide for the outdoor pool. Spa area on the lower ground was clean. I didn’t use it myself but I had a wonder around and saw that it was being maintained well. You have these towel cards given to you at the time of checking in which you can exchange for towels and you return the towel for your cards to use next time. Bare in mind, if you lose these cards by checking out time you’ll have to pay 10€ each card. So don’t lose them! Restaurant: We opted for the inclusive system, which was well worth it for a relaxing stress free holiday. Each meal time and day was full of different varieties and catered to different diets. The wait staff were lovely and always eager to help. However they could smile a bit more (50% of the men, they look a bit grumpy). The fruit was what I love most mainly because I love fruit but also because the flavours were so fresh and cut in front of you. The drinks from the bar in the main reception area are also part of the inclusive system, for someone who does not drink alcoholic drinks, the bar staff were lovely to point out what was permissible for me to drink and gave me recommendations based on what flavours I like. Location: The hotel is easy to get to from Antalya airport by taxi or public transport. If you really want to get to know the area get the local public transport. But make sure you have your location on and use your maps on your phone wisely as you can get lost. Most of the drivers do not know English so come prepared with Google translate. You have to get the tram and then a bus, then it’s a 10 min walk to the hotel from the main road. You can buy a antalyakart at the airport or use a prepaid travel contactless card ( uk revolut or post office) . It was less than 20 liras in total which is around 85p at the time of this post. The taxi takes around £35/40 one way. So you can guess which method of transport I preferred. To get around : There are taxis which you can grab from outside the hotel & also from the hotel the bus stop on the main road, takes you to various destinations, either backwards to the main city for shopping food etc or you can head further out to Kemer and Finike for days out etc but make sure you have cash for the kemer buses. When you want to get off the bus on the Kemer buses make sure you come to the front of the bus to the driver a few min ahead of your stop and you pay when you leave but remember the name of the stop you got on at cause that’s how they calculate how much your journey was. Or if you’re just a beach person, you can walk to your hearts content alongside the beach path which is less than 3 mins from the hotel entrance . There’s lots of cats and dogs walking along too, very friendly. Wifi connection service is great. For getting out and about definitely get a SIM card at the airport, found Vodafone to be price worthy for 25g. It lasted me for a whole week with 8g left over. It’s really great to stay in this hotel . Actually I booked two hotels in Antalya . The first one is Concorde . Second is Lara. The fees of Concorde is a little cheaper than Lara . But not that much . All the foods and facilities in Concorde is totally a disaster . But when I got to Lara , it’s just like heaven to me. Next time I will book all the nights at Lara .
