Had a lovely time at this hotel, the room was spacious and kept very clean by the excellent staff. The hotel is in a very good position, a walk to the beach only takes under 5 minutes and a bus to the centre of town is very good value at 9 tl .The nights can get a bit noisy with disco music playing until midnight but ear plugs could solve this. The breakfast is the same each day and a buffet style could sort this out. Overall a very pleasant stay helped by an excellent management team.

Have just returned from my first ever solo holiday and after a ton of research, finally chose Antique Roman Palace after reading all of the reviews and wasn't disappointed with my choice. Lovely rooms that were well maintained and no issues with housekeeping, it was fun to see how artistic they were with preparing the bed, the first night was a creature wearing my glasses which genuinely made me laugh when I walked through the door. Food was good with plenty of choice, if you didn't want to eat in the main restaurant, there were food options in the 24 hour bar that were freshly prepared upon order. The hotel has two pools as well the main beach over the road, where the staff member was always smiling and attentive, as you could access drinks. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them. Only drawback was that there weren't too many English speaking guests, so as a solo traveller, that was a bit limiting - but it's not the hotels fault! Loved the place ❤️

Awful experience, first of all our room was not at all like the pictures in our booking. After a request to change rooms (at a cost of 8 euro’s a night) we agreed to pay half. Which was before we realised there was barely any hot water, no matter the time of day. Then there was the quality of the general facilities and the equipment provided (run down and dated) alongside chipped tableware and cracked tiles. More than once there were holes and stains on the ‘freshly changed’ bedding. The cleaning of the room in winter time is mean’t to be every other day however we had to verbally request for the room to be cleaned. We also ended up doing it ourselves a few times in the two weeks. The maids were excessively loud and disruptive, often waking us with banging and crashing as they carried out their cleaning services in the surrounding rooms. When we approached the staff working at the hotel they said they would contact the manager/owner to find a solution to the issues we had raised but no one came back to us until our check out day, they told us if we didn’t pay the room upgrade despite our disappointing experience they would have to pay which was obviously a lie. We also requested a double mattress topper, our request was ignored even though we asked numerous times. Our request was finally granted a week into our stay. Wouldn’t recommend staying here!

The hotel is in a very good, convenient location. The staff is exceptionally friendly including the manager. They are always ready to help. Resitalya is a very basic accommodation but everything you eventually need you can buy from the shops nearby. The reception is 24/7.At the hotel shop you can always buy beer,cold drinks and water. There is a small alcohol bar as well. The breakfast is always very fresh. There is s sitting area outside and you can order a delicious meal from the menu list which will be delivered in the next 30 minutes. The beach is just across the road. It is sandy but there are some small rounded stones as well.There are bar, sunbeds and umbrellas ( need to pay additionaly), Shower and changing room. Taxi stand is just in the front of the hotel next to a beautiful small park with fountains. Few cash machines are on the road. The area is safe. This is one of the best places where you can have a beach holiday on low cost.

Il più importante è il personale. Mustafa gestisce il ristorante sorridendo e splendendo tutto il giorno, rendendo la tua giornata ancora migliore. Muhammed è sempre pronto ad aiutare alla reception. Lo chef prepara piatti deliziosi e il cameriere mantiene il ristorante pulito e ordinato. E gli addetti alle pulizie hanno svolto correttamente il loro lavoro. Il cibo è delizioso e assicurati di fare colazione e cenare entrambi. Tutte le camere sono dotate di ampi balconi e la maggior parte regala splendide viste sul castello e sul mare, oltre che su molti chilometri di città di mare. Il letto e il cuscino erano comodi. Il bagno era abbastanza grande e la doccia era decente. Le pantofole sono disponibili in camera. L'hotel è ben posizionato, tutto è raggiungibile a piedi. Taxi usato solo da e per la stazione degli autobus. C'è una bella spiaggia proprio di fronte all'hotel (Beach1) dove prendi un lettino e un ombrellone per sole 15 lire. Tutto sommato, sono state due settimane molto belle.

Il hotel è di qualità e prezzo, ma in linea di principio è normale per i suoi soldi.
Un grande luogo, è il suo grande plus, proprio vicino al mare (2 minuti) e al centro (minuto 10 passi).
Le camere sono spaziose, 2 balconi. Ci sono cucina e tutti i piatti da cucina.
Dei danni: un po'sono fumati, alcuni asciugamani già grigi, lavati. Sono vecchi. Il rumore serale è dovuto alle automobili e alle moto. Il tappo è sottoflusso.
Se non si arriva a queste cose piccoli (ma forse per qualcuno che sono molto importanti), l'hotel è normale.

Like one man said - this hotel has something that many other hotels are lacking - soul. Felth like second home. Felth like family. So friendly and naturally cheerful. There is also a parrot here and few cats, it makes this place even more cozy. They are so nice with animals and guests, tries cheering everyone up. They are just naturally very pleasant people to be around. One staff member celebrated her birthday here and everyone greeted her with so much warmth. They even gave guests some free cake to celebrate. All family members and kids gathered and it made me feel so alive and grateful for the things that really matter - family, friends and everyone around us. Im sure to come back here some day! By the way... THE FOOD IS EVERYTHING HERE! Big variety, everyday something new and very tasty! I hope they will never change this cause that also left me the biggest impression on this hotel! Yes, it aint super fancy, but it has life, meaning, cozy taste to it and I will always choose this. You really won my heart on this. Very sad to leave, but I've got some meaningful answers to take home, and its a big THANKS to the people working at this hotel. Dont forget the bond you have with each other, cherish these connections and this hotel will always stay alive with happiest guests that can have a little of that happiness that you share.
