Hotel Friesacher

We spent three nights at this fantastic family owned hotel. The room and views were spectacular, along with the breakfasts. Anif is located a short bus ride from Salzburg city center. Very easy to navigate. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had an opportunity to meet Sabine who made wonderful suggestions for a lunch place in St Wolfgang ( a lake side town… not to be missed). We would highly recommend you stay at this hotel.

What a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. This hotel is pristine clean and the room Is updated and very comfortable. Nice big bathroom , real closet and entry area. Looking forward to the next three nights here. Very happy In this fabulous spot.

I have stayed in that hotel many times before but never got around to write a review. I would say, this is one of the best hotels in the Salzburg area. The view from rooms facing the back is very nice. The rooms are a nice size and very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is simply delicious. The selection of the buffet is enormous. But you can also order an omlette, freshy prepared. You have a choice of several juices but also, if you like, champagne. Personally, I also like that the hotel has a restaurant at the property, as well as a Heurigen, which is an Austrian wine place where you can also have dinner. The bar is excellent.

We had a great stay at the Friesacher. We had booked a renovated room and it was better than we had expected. Everything has a consistent feeling of quality. The bed was large and the bathroom outstanding. We spent the time by the pool, ordered massages and made trips to, among other things, The eagle's nest. Services are actually perfect. The man (from Russia?) who mixes drinks for the pool and offers smaller dishes as lunch during the day does a really good job. The reception and breakfast staff are also really nice and professional. So rare when it's this good! The breakfast has a large selection, but this is also our only real criticism. You have to do something about all the insects and wasps that flock around the trays and the patio. My partner was stung by a wasp and we had to move indoors every morning due to all aggressive wasps. And we are not particularly fearful otherwise. But we had a really good holiday here! The service once we got to the hotel was, as I said, really good, but please answer questions via email even if they are written in English (e.g. taxi costs). It gives a much better impression to answer even if you don't know. It was almost that I didn't book due to of this.

Wir haben zu unserem 60. Hochzeitstag eine Nacht im Hotel Friesacher reserviert und waren über die Großzügigkeit des Hotels mehr als überrascht. Neben einem Upgraden des Zimmers fanden wir bei Ankunft im Zimmer eine Flasche Sekt mit einem entsprechenden Glückwunsch vor. Zusätzlich gab es dann am Abend im Restaurant noch eine Überraschung als Dessert. All das bei nur einer Nacht!! Wir kannten das Hotel bereits aber wir können es nur zu 100 % weiterempfehlen. Wir selbst werden ebenfalls wieder im Hotel Friesacher absteigen wenn wir in Salzburg sind.

Schönes, familiengeführtes Hotel in Anif (Nahe Salzburg) gelegen. Grosses Zimmer mit grossem Bad und Balkon mit Blick in den innenliegenden Garten/Poolbereich. Bequemes Bett, Sofa und Sessel vorhanden. Minibar/Kühlschrank etwas klein. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat eine hervorragendes Auswahl, inkl. Zubereitung frischer Eierspeisen. Verschiedene Restaurant stehen zur Verfügung. Kostenfreie Tiefgarage für Gäste vorhanden. Sehr freundlicher Service. Gerne wieder.
