"We stay at this DoubleTree once a year when visiting family, as we chose it expecting the level of cleanliness and standards associated with the Hilton brand. Unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. During a previous stay, we found a used condom beside the bed. Since then, we have always requested extra attention to room cleanliness. This year, despite that request, we wake up every morning to find a visible layer of dust accumulating on the tables and surfaces, which strongly suggests the HVAC filter in the room may not be properly maintained. This raises serious concerns about housekeeping and overall maintenance standards. Additionally, we have repeatedly noticed guests smoking inside the hotel, including in non-smoking areas, which further affects comfort and air quality. These recurring issues make us question whether the hotel is able to maintain the standards expected from the Hilton brand."
