Located close to downtown, close proximity to great restaurants in the downtown area. Elite members are treated to a nice lounge with a very nice view of the mountains. The young man that works the lounge at night is outstanding. There was a few small issues at first but Brittney went out of her way to make it right. Would Definitely stay here again

When you’re in Alaska for work for 2-3 weeks at a time, hospitality like Sai’s helps keep you sane. Renovation-wise it’s an average hotel, but it’s a place I’ve called home and will have fond memories of for a long time. Given all the long term travelers, they should totally install coin laundry.

Loved the decor, the linens, pillows. They are expanding, bar and restaurant can not wait for that it will be my new favorite! Location one block from mall. Most things are in walking distance. Homeless there are some not fault of the hotel, they are everywhere. Anchorage should provide a safe down town for tourists. Anchorage should also provide good streets in the winter. (I get off my rant what is wrong with Anchorage). Please stay at the Aviator it was clean and like what they had done.

Well, we booked a combo tour of Alaska Cruise under Princess Cruise. Our first day was at The Hotel Captain Cook. The service is decent and restaurant was clean. However, the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. As soon as we entered the room, we had problem with TV, the Wifi and the plumbing. When you flush the toilet bowl, it takes time for the water go down. It appears their plumbing is not up to date. Then, the towels given to us are old and worn out. I assumed this hotel is a 4 star.

Deal's Bed & Breakfast was a wonderful place to stay in Anchorage. I've seen the b&b described as ” staying at grandmas house”; it is and better. So warm and cozy, the B&B was a welcome home at the end of a long plane flight. The owners accommodated our late arrival and departure without issue. The room was big, comfortable and quiet. The bathroom had a tremendous tub and separate shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and of course hand cooked with care and to our liking. The owners are lovely people. Without hesitation, Deal's is highly recommended.

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo affittato una suite 2-room per viaggi di famiglia come punto di atterraggio ogni giorno dopo le nostre avventure. La camera da letto principale non ha il proprio bagno privato. La seconda camera con 2 letti Queen ha il proprio bagno. Il sistema HVAC in questa stanza ha solo un sensore di temperatura per l'intera suite che si trova nella seconda camera da letto, un problema con conforto a volte. Le pareti e i pavimenti sono estremamente sottili, come potremmo sentire altre conversazioni in camera degli ospiti dalle camere adiacenti e sopra le nostre, nonché l'uso di toaletta e anche cortine aperte al mattino. C'era un urlo estremamente forte dalla strada, mentre due persone senza casa si combattevano per ore a metà della notte - non era una sola volta. Vi è anche un rumore significativo dovuto al traffico stradale sia da Benson Blvd che Seward Highway - che non ci ha molestato troppo, ma può mollare persone che non sono abituate a questo. Il parcheggio è stato molto importante e la posizione è estremamente vicina alla Seward Highway, che ha reso i nostri viaggi molto comodi. L'hotel ha un buon colazione con oggetti di buffet standard come uova, bacon, bagagli, biscotti e segale, cereali e una stazione di pancake. Sono anche fatti per ordinare oggetti come omeletti. In generale il nostro soggiorno è stato molto piacevole.

First night, at check in: We were given the key to an occupied room. Walked right in on some guy sleeping before realizing what was going on. They gave us new keys and room number. Their 'system was down', but said that should be the end of our trouble... Second night (after day surgery): we walked in to find all our stuff was gone, room cleaned. Did we walk into the wrong room again? No: The front desk said they had moved us out accidentally, but not to worry: all our dirty clothes and toiletries had been dumped into our suitcase, and they would drop back by our room in a bit. The desk guy asked if there was anything he could do? Yeah: Don't enter my room again until after I check out. I would have asked for a refund but was too afraid of how they'd screw that up also. In years of traveling, never experienced anything like it. Unrelated note: there's a huge vagrant camp across the street (at least they know who's tent is who's).

JJesi JI'm a Platinum Elite member and stay at Marriott almost exclusively when traveling work business or pleasure. This was one of the worst experiences ever (only one worse than this stay was one in Denver last year). The AC was broken in the rooms and it was 85 degrees in our room. We were not told this upon check-in and discovered it once we got to the room. When we went back downstairs to tell front desk staff to tell them the AC wasn't working in our room, the response was ”You and everyone else.” They told me we could have a fan for our room. I requested one be brought up while we went to dinner and was told ask when you get back. When we got back, I asked and they said they would look for one and bring it up. An hour later, I called downstairs and was told there weren't any left. After 3 hours with our windows open in the room, the temperature in our room only went down to 84. At 9pm, we drove to Walmart and bought our own fans just so we could sleep. I believe it was fixed sometime the next day or the day after. I honestly don't know as nothing was communicated. When we went to check out, I tried the AC in our room and it was working. The front desk staff was completely indifferent to any concerns we had. This hotel is in a very sketchy part of town and I honestly was surprised to see my rental car still in the parking lot each morning. The one positive I can say is that the place is clean as we saw so many people constantly cleaning throughout the day to keep it that way. For the amount of money charged to stay here (over $400 per night in late July) this was a terrible experience and I would never stay at this hotel again.

MMark S5 friends stayed Saturday night on our way to Homer for a fishing trip. Rented 5 rooms. All in all it provided us with a comfortable, clean, safe place to stay that was convenient to the airport. Front desk personnel were friendly and offered helpful suggestions to downtown restaurants. We paid $144 per room using ******* which was a great price in comparison to others. All in all good place to stay which we recommend. Enjoyed breakfast, however the eggs were terrible.

LLets-go-TrekkingLo spazio di questa stanza è anche grande. Due letti sono 1 m 5, abbastanza da dormire quattro persone. Ci siamo specialmente prenotati con una piccola cucina, perché una zia è con noi e non piace mangiare fuori, ma questa piccola cucina non è in realtà sciocca, quindi a meno che non abbia una scia, Altrimenti non si può fare riso, perché la nostra seconda metà di viaggio a Utah è auto-auto e ha portato il cappello, quindi è ancora possibile. Questo hotel è meglio che si possa trasportare all'aeroporto, quindi abbiamo inviato il bus all'hotel e torneremo a chiamare da soli dopo il trasporto, Ma il secondo giorno potremmo fare il loro autobus all'aeroporto.

MMyMyMaiIl nostro soggiorno è stato apprezzato grazie ai dipendenti del microtel. Mi consiglierei e ritornerò per viaggi futuri. Sono stati anche accolti con favore il mio cane (che potrebbe sembrare spaventoso, ma è un dolce animale di servizio)

Arrived from the airport to a less than friendly reception team. Assigned to a room away from our travelling partners. The room was not clean, had curtain tears and the bathroom was not maintained. During our 3 day stay, we did not have any change to linen or bathroom amenities. We felt uneasy the whole stay as there was a homeless settlement stationed behind our room at the rear of the Ramada. Noise and fighting ensued each day. The shuttle-truck for use was old and tired and not easily accessible. We never actually rode in it with safety in mind. Breakfast was sub standard. Dried out waffles on the menu and nothing further. We chose to walk each morning to the city centre after that first day (No shuttle) for our breakfast. On top of all this, the tv in our room continually broke down. You might ask how did all this happen with all the resources at hand to check these places ?? Fact is, you are part of a travel itinerary that is pre-planned and often these hotels are part of a 'partner motel' travel plan. Even our bond was kept by the hotel until we questioned the validity. I say: 'Buyer Beware'. Please don't waste your money on a poorly run accommodation arrangement that carries an exclusive name. Our experience visiting Anchorage was affected due to this poorly run establishment. I would urge the management of 'Ramada' hotels to look into the operating measures adopted by this franchise. - Very disappointing as a result.
