Hotel in zona Greetings from Alaska Mural, Anchorage

Mia moglie e io, insieme a nostra figlia, SIL e 3 bambini, siamo rimasti al RI Anchorage venerdì-domenica giugno 22-24. Il personale RI, soprattutto il loro personale cucina - Carol e Shey!!! - merita un grande grido per quanto si trovavano. Siamo una famiglia di Kosher, che osserva la famiglia Shabbat, e hanno aperto le porte quando ne avevamo bisogno, controllato i prodotti di cucina per la certificazione, e in tutto erano solo il più utile e curativo personale dell'hotel che abbiamo mai incontrato. Damgli la vostra seria considerazione se siete in Anchorage!!

DO NOT stay at this hotel unless you get an iron clad guarantee that you will not have organised ‘teens on tour’ that are marauding, loud, noisy and partying to the early hours of the morning. The teens are large groups (40-50) staying at the Midtown Springhill Suites Marriott as part of adventure tours. No change since last summer - see Tripadvisor comment from 2022. It was the worse hotel experience of our six week stay in Alaska however the housekeeping of the rooms was exceptionally clean and Dallas the groundsman and housekeepers were very professional, friendly and polite to us. This is a much lower quality clientele and service (except for the great quality rooms beds and housekeeping) compared to the Marriott’s in Australia. Google Westcoastconnection and Reinteentours and look at their Alaska Hawaii tours for a month at $12,000 USD for privileged teens who are touring and staying at hotels such as the Hilton, Hyatt Regency, Marriott also the Bluffs and Grande Denali etc. We stayed a total of five nights broken over a two week period as we were booked in by an American company for independent travel - Vacations by Rail with additional nights I added as we toured from here to Denali and Seward. I complained about the noise the first time, second time was a quieter area of the hotel but then they mustn’t have made a note on my third booking even though I told reception all my dates. The last occasion was so truly horrible with virtually no sleep and feeling completely bullied and unsafe by the Westcoast Connection ‘chaperones’ and their testosterone group of boy teens (also had girls too) who were much taller and larger than I. The boys even bullied and called me names at the airport when they spotted me as they were ending their tour because I had dared to ask them to disperse from the hallway at around 11pm as they were two steps away from my room and talking loudly and I couldn’t sleep. They put us in an interconnecting room (door locked) and we could hear the yelling, loud music, thumping of bags onto the floor on both sides and above and across the hall from these teens. Then later I tried reception on the phone but there was no answer. at around 11.30pm so I went down to reception. Reception said that they had sent ‘security’ (not sure what this actually entailed) to go to the floor previously. I saw the chaperones in the foyer putting on facial moisturiser masks and I asked them why they weren’t supervising. I then again came down to reception close to 1am to again ask if there was anything they could do and again similar response. I again spotted the chaperones in the foyer if they could talk to the boy teens and one flat out lied and she said that they were in their beds asleep and security had been up on that floor. I said that this is not the case. One male chaperone kindly went up with me and stood for about three seconds outside the room and of course heard them and went in. Manager moved us the next morning. C'è un servizio di ricetta per ragazzi.Chiedete la mia casa di famiglia dopo la nostra carta?E'strano.Poi il bagno non può aprire il ventilatore e gli rispondere. Ha detto che ha chiesto al personale di manutenzione di venire e non è mai venuto. La stanza e l'hotel sono tutti in ordine. L'igiene pulita, le strutture sono nuove, in generale sono ancora raccomandate.

La stanza è molto piccola, ma il serbatoio è configurato, il frigorifero è tutto, la sala ha una cucina corretta.Il parcheggio è grande e gratuito.Il servizio è buono.La decorazione ha una struttura abitativa molto locale, molto vicina all'aeroporto

Questo hotel mi ha salvato la vita tardi alla notte, erano disposti a darmi una roomie anche se non era sul computer come disponibile perché c'era un piccolo problema, quindi mi hanno dato un buon sconto. Sono molto felice del loro servizio.

Il rumore stradale è molto cattivo, ma si può aspettare che si svolga su una strada importante.

Si diceva che c'era un autobus per l'aeroporto, quindi ho fatto una prenotazione, ma non c'era nessun autobus per l'aeroporto.Alla fine ho chiamato l'ascensore e mi sono trasferito. Anche se era un prezzo compreso il colazione, il colazione era molto semplice, quindi non mi sentivo molto merito. Piuttosto è molto vicino all'aeroporto (10 minuti di auto) e ci è un delizioso ristorante vietnamita intorno. È difficile da raccomandare perché il soddisfacimento dei prezzi è basso.

Grande posto all'aeroporto. Per le persone in transito è difficile battere. Il lavoro è fatto se è tutto quello che ti serve. Ma se stai cercando un posto per rimanere più di una notte, altri luoghi possono essere meglio adattati.

La colazione è normale, la zia ha un'amica accoglienza; la stanza è pulita e pulita; qualche minuto di distanza dall'aeroporto; parcheggio gratuito, con un autobus; la pressione è un po' lento e soddisfatto in generale.
