Hotel in zona Alaska Coral & Fish, Anchorage

Questo hotel mi ha salvato la vita tardi alla notte, erano disposti a darmi una roomie anche se non era sul computer come disponibile perché c'era un piccolo problema, quindi mi hanno dato un buon sconto. Sono molto felice del loro servizio.

DO NOT stay at this hotel unless you get an iron clad guarantee that you will not have organised ‘teens on tour’ that are marauding, loud, noisy and partying to the early hours of the morning. The teens are large groups (40-50) staying at the Midtown Springhill Suites Marriott as part of adventure tours. No change since last summer - see Tripadvisor comment from 2022. It was the worse hotel experience of our six week stay in Alaska however the housekeeping of the rooms was exceptionally clean and Dallas the groundsman and housekeepers were very professional, friendly and polite to us. This is a much lower quality clientele and service (except for the great quality rooms beds and housekeeping) compared to the Marriott’s in Australia. Google Westcoastconnection and Reinteentours and look at their Alaska Hawaii tours for a month at $12,000 USD for privileged teens who are touring and staying at hotels such as the Hilton, Hyatt Regency, Marriott also the Bluffs and Grande Denali etc. We stayed a total of five nights broken over a two week period as we were booked in by an American company for independent travel - Vacations by Rail with additional nights I added as we toured from here to Denali and Seward. I complained about the noise the first time, second time was a quieter area of the hotel but then they mustn’t have made a note on my third booking even though I told reception all my dates. The last occasion was so truly horrible with virtually no sleep and feeling completely bullied and unsafe by the Westcoast Connection ‘chaperones’ and their testosterone group of boy teens (also had girls too) who were much taller and larger than I. The boys even bullied and called me names at the airport when they spotted me as they were ending their tour because I had dared to ask them to disperse from the hallway at around 11pm as they were two steps away from my room and talking loudly and I couldn’t sleep. They put us in an interconnecting room (door locked) and we could hear the yelling, loud music, thumping of bags onto the floor on both sides and above and across the hall from these teens. Then later I tried reception on the phone but there was no answer. at around 11.30pm so I went down to reception. Reception said that they had sent ‘security’ (not sure what this actually entailed) to go to the floor previously. I saw the chaperones in the foyer putting on facial moisturiser masks and I asked them why they weren’t supervising. I then again came down to reception close to 1am to again ask if there was anything they could do and again similar response. I again spotted the chaperones in the foyer if they could talk to the boy teens and one flat out lied and she said that they were in their beds asleep and security had been up on that floor. I said that this is not the case. One male chaperone kindly went up with me and stood for about three seconds outside the room and of course heard them and went in. Manager moved us the next morning. OMG Bates Motel! I only chose this Hotel for location even after reading bad reviews. I thought it can’t be that bad for just a few hours stay. We arrived at the airport late, called the hotel for shuttle pickup was told 20 minutes. The shuttle finally arrived after 45 minutes. The hotel clerk told me the only room available was across the main Hotel on the 3rd floor that we have to take the stairs since the elevator is not working. I explained to her that my husband have disability he cannot climb the stairs with luggage too. She said she doesn’t have any rooms available straight face with no emotion! It’s already 12:00 midnight my husband said let’s just stay here. The gentleman behind the counter must have felt sorry for us and offered to help us carry the luggage to the room. He said the elevator has been out of order for 3 yrs and that he can’t believe the front desk assigned a room on the 3rd floor at the very end of the hall too. When we entered the room the smell of disinfectant made me sick, like someone has died in the room. The room was too dark, dark brown curtains, very dirty carpet, long hair sitting on the towel, door paint peeling, dirty coffee maker. In short I told my husband let’s get out of here. I have so many points on my credit card I could use with nearby 4 star hotels but it was raining that night so we decided to stay. We didn’t change our clothes, we’re afraid to open our luggage for bugs getting into our luggage. Used our jackets to cover the sheets and pillows before we lay down in bed. We’re up all night as we didn’t feel safe in the room! We checked out after a few hours and shuttled back to the airport to catch our bus to Whittier. Recent reviews had the same story if not worse! So if you’re reading our horrible experiences do yourself a favor, do not stay here even if it’s free!

Di solito trascorro un soggiorno tranquillo e piacevole quando soggiorno qui, ma questa volta non è stato così tranquillo. C'era una festa di compleanno per bambini o qualcosa in corso dove c'erano molti bambini turbolenti che correvano su e giù per il corridoio, facendo tutto questo rumore durante il mio soggiorno. Non è affatto piacevole.

Mia moglie e io, insieme a nostra figlia, SIL e 3 bambini, siamo rimasti al RI Anchorage venerdì-domenica giugno 22-24. Il personale RI, soprattutto il loro personale cucina - Carol e Shey!!! - merita un grande grido per quanto si trovavano. Siamo una famiglia di Kosher, che osserva la famiglia Shabbat, e hanno aperto le porte quando ne avevamo bisogno, controllato i prodotti di cucina per la certificazione, e in tutto erano solo il più utile e curativo personale dell'hotel che abbiamo mai incontrato. Damgli la vostra seria considerazione se siete in Anchorage!!

La stanza è pulita e pulita, confortevole e confortevole, ampio, vicino alla strada shopping, il servizio è molto cattivo, la porta del bagno pubblico è chiusa, il giorno dopo la partenza, pensa al bagno. Non apriremo la porta, non ci mettiamo un po'di acqua nel serbatoio di bruciare

La dimensione della stanza è giusta, l'igiene è ok. Dà la stanza sul bordo del primo piano, probabilmente anche la stanza di promozione, perché vivo solo per una notte. Dopo l'hotel c'è un fiume, posso andare a pescare, e camminare lungo entrambi i lati del fiume per vedere la cultura locale del pesce, è anche molto significativo, E'difficile camminare più di 20 minuti dal centro della città, ma è molto vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, e l'hotel ha un servizio di trasporto gratuito. Questo servizio è davvero buono, ed è una delle ragioni per cui ho prenotato questo hotel
