What a high-quality hotel! Situated in a historical building at Dam Square, so it is super central, this hotel is amazing. We stayed in the hotel at Christmas and had diner in Michelin star rated Bougainville restaurant. The combination is just prefect! The reception at the hotel was warm en professional. We had a suite on the fourth floor, overlooking Dam Square. On arrival the butler was awaiting us at the elevator leading us to our suite. in the suite, a waitress waited for us with a cocktail, The suite was very luxurious, crystal clear and warm decorated. A bathroom with a spacious jacuzzi, double shower/sauna. The king size bed was just perfect to sleep well. Several pillows to choose from. Lights, air conditioner and temperature are to be adjusted by touchscreens. But what makes this hotel extra special is the service of every member of the staff. They really make the stay something special.

Hotel location was good as it is in the central area to almost all activities that we went. But however, hotel room service did not help us to empty our toilet trash bin every single day despite that we gave tips everyday, so I'm not sure how clean exactly is their room service. Bring extra cash for hotel tax and deposits as we were only told on the 1st night of checking in when the recept call up to our room to ask us to go to the reception to pay for our hotel tax and deposit, where only the deposits will be refunded upon checking out if you did not consume their in-room beverages or destroy their hotel etc. Hotel location is very near to 2 super mart, and also the ******** coffee shop, cafe and restaurants, not very convenient for kids as every where smells of ********. Breakfast was super good spread, large varieties, we love it.

L'Hyatt Andaz di Amsterdam è un autentico concept hotel cui forse dobbiamo iniziare ad abituarci come saranno gli alberghi del futuro tecnologici all'estremo ma anche informali, minimalisti e concreti. L'idea di base di creare un hotel pieno di colori fondendo in un unicum luci, decori e tapezzerie piene di citazioni di personaggi olandesi famosi nei secoli, moquette, legno e vetro è da apprezzare e difendere soprattutto in una città come Amsterdam poliedrica, piena di offerte, molto competitiva. Valido lo staff formato da una serie di addetti alle varie funzioni dal tono molto informale ma efficienti e ben motivati, un plauso ai agli italiani che in un'azienda multietnica si distinguono per eccellenza tra i quali ricordiamo Giacomo e Matteo reception e concierge. Nota stonata tra tutto il bar veramente per varie ragioni che vanno dalla limitatissima offerta all'incapacità di fare un semplice toast se non in mezz'ora fino alla censurabile cameriera anche poco educata che non Ti fà sedere in tavoli asseritamente riservati quando poi non arriva nessuno per ore. Prezzo piuttosto caro ma in linea con l'intera Olanda ovunque carissima.

Abbiamo trascorso 1 notte in questo hotel in attesa di un volo aereo. Posizione eccellente: pochi passi dalla stazione centrale (frequentissimi e puntuali i treni dall’aeroporto alla stazione centrale) e da piazza Dam, praticamente in centro. Hotel molto carino, arredato con buon gusto e uno stile decisamente piacevole. Personale davvero gentilissimo e solare. Camera un po’ piccola e, la nostra, con vista su altra camera…una cosa un po’ inquietante! Bagno carino ma l’assenza della porta (hanno porta con vetri smerigliati sia la doccia che il wc ma non ha porta l’intera stanza da bagno che quindi affaccia direttamente sulla camera da letto) proprio a me non piace. Due brick di acqua gratuiti, bollitore, macchina Nespresso con cialde a disposizione. L’acqua del rubinetto è potabile. Amenities non male. Letto comodissimo. Pulizia: si potrebbe fare di più sia nelle camere che nelle aree comuni. Il bar e il ristorante piacevoli. Colazione buona: buffet con dolci, uova, bacon, piatti caldi (tipo verdure in padella), formaggi, un paio di salumi e pesci affumicati. Yogurt (anche di soia), cereali, verdure crude, macedonia e frutta fresca. Confetture, spremute varie, pane e diversi tipi di frutta secca e semi. Caffè americano buono. Hanno anche menu alla carta da cui poter ordinare. Quando tornerò ad Amsterdam penso che sceglierò nuovamente questo hotel.

Ho pernottato una notte in questo hotel del centro di Amsterdam e devo dire che è stata una esperienza discreta perché l’albergo è sì nel posto nel posto più centrale di Amsterdam ma è difficilissimo se non impossibile arrivarci con l’automobile e l’eventuale deposito dell’auto in garage o in parcheggio e costosissimo (superiore ai 50 €). Il personale è gentile e attento alle esigenze del cliente. La colazione è discreta e i servizi offerti dall'hotel sono buoni. Purtroppo, le difficoltà a raggiungere questo hotel in auto, le camere assolutamente non moderne e la location centrale, ma non delle migliori non lo rende un posto perfetto dove alloggiare.

Ero una persona e mi hanno chiesto di pagare la tassa di soggiorno 2 volte perché hanno detto che è una camera doppia ed è così che dovrebbe essere - 30 euro invece di 15. Hanno detto ”è sul sistema e che non può essere cambiato anche se sono solo una persona”. In quell'albergo non permettono a nessuno di aprire le finestre, il che è molto stressante anche per chi non soffre di claustrofobia. Nessuna finestra aperta - ovviamente in tutte le stanze chiuse a chiave - ma anche in tutto l'hotel. Era una sensazione molto strana non poter respirare aria fresca ed essere chiusi in tutto quel grande edificio. Personalmente non consiglierò questo hotel a nessuno e anche se pagassi 0 euro non tornerei.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is close to a lot of shops and restaurants. The Rijksmuseum is a short walk away. There is a tram stop also within walking distance. If you want to do a canal cruise, there are several that board across the street from the Rijksmuseum. There is a bus that goes right from the airport and stops across the street from the hotel. The bus stop to catch the bus back to the airport is just down the next block. Our room was pretty spacious for a European hotel. As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, my suite night awards didn’t get approved (likely because the hotel was full) but I did get upgraded to an executive room. I enjoyed the personal welcome note and treats from the staff. They also dropped off a thank you note and a small gift of stroopwafels on our last night! The only issue we had with the room was that we couldn’t get the temperature as cool as we wanted but that wasn’t a dealbreaker. The room had a coffee maker and a small mini-fridge to keep water and drinks cool. The M Club Lounge at the hotel was great. My only complaint is that I do wish they’d vary their breakfast items each day. Five days of the exact same items got to be a little tiresome. We only made it to the club in the afternoon/evening twice during our stay. On Friday night, it was jam packed. People were circling like sharks. I really loved the coffee machine in the M Club and liked that they had bottled drinks we could take back to the room.

L'hotel Clemens si trova a 5' a piedi da Piazza Dam e dalla casa di Anna Frank. Puoi raggiungere a piedi tutte le attrazioni di Amsterdam. Io e le mie figlie abbiamo dormito nella camera tripla che è abbastanza spaziosa. Il bagno è piccolo ma nuovo e pulito; gli asciugamani venivano cambiati ogni giorno anche senza richiederlo. La stanza si affaccia sul cortile interno, si possono vedere i tetti di Amsterdam, gli alberi e si sentono solo gli uccellini. Abbiamo dormito molto bene. La colazione è varia: uova, formaggio, prosciutto, speck, frutta, yogurt, pane, toast, biscotti. Se il sole splende, puoi fare colazione sulla terrazza e vedere il palazzo reale. A disposizione degli ospiti, in qualsiasi momento, è possibile consumare tè o caffè. Sono stata molto contento di aver scelto questo hotel. Ringrazio Ahmed, i collaboratori e il proprietario per la gentilezza. Erano disponibili per dare consigli e suggerimenti. Sempre sorridenti !!!! Abbiamo lasciato un pezzettino del nostro cuore ad Amsterdam, grazie all'hotel Clemens il nostro soggiorno è stato perfetto. Ritorneremo sicuramente! The Clemens hotel is a 5 'walk from Dam square and the Anne Frank house. You can walk to all of Amsterdam's attractions. My daughters and I slept in the triple room which is quite spacious. The bathroom is small, new and clean; towels were changed every day even without requesting it. The room overlooks the internal courtyard, you can see the roofs of Amsterdam, the trees and you can only hear the birds. We slept very well. Breakfast is varied: eggs, cheese, ham, speck, fruit, yogurt, bread, toast, biscuits. If the sun is shining, you can have breakfast on the terrace and see the royal palace. At guests' disposal, at any time, you can have tea or coffee. I was very happy to have chosen this hotel. I thank Ahmed, the collaborators and the owner for the kindness. They were available to give advice and suggestions. Always smiling !!!! We left a little bit of our heart in Amsterdam, thanks to the Clemens hotel our stay was perfect. We will definitely be back! Our stay was unforgettable and we would like to thank Ahmed and the owner who introduced us to Mike and Pussy. We pampered the cats and the hotel pampered us

Sono così felice di aver speso un paio di dollari per rimanere in questo hotel davvero meraviglioso, che per la prima volta mi sono recata solo ad Amsterdam e ho avuto un grande prezzo per una delle loro camere più piccole (che era ancora lussuoso). La zona è perfetta per andare intorno a tutta la città (con un fermo di tram vicino se i piedi si spostano). E l'hotel stesso si sente caldo nonostante la sua grandezza - certamente perché l'intero personale è meraviglioso e utile - tra cui le persone meravigliose che portano il vostro delizioso colazione o la bevanda perfetta dopo un giorno di musei! Se il vostro bilancio può estendersi per permettere questo posto glorioso, è veramente topnotch e renderà il vostro soggiorno a Amsterdam estremamente comodo. If you are looking for a luxury hotel with all the bells and whistles of 5 star service perhaps Canal House is not your kind of place. It's not cheap, but neither are any of the hotels in Amsterdam along the canals, with canal views. The hotel is located on the Keizergracht Canal, which is the second of three of the main canals of Amsterdam. It is widely considered one of the most beautiful canals. The location does not come cheap. We had a room called the ”Outstanding Room”. I chose this one because it definitely had a canal side view. It was very roomy (36 sq metres) and beautifully furnished in an open plan style. Those of you who want a closed off door to the bathroom might not go for the open plan design. The staff were fantastic on our visit in early September 2023. They carried our (very heavy) bags up the 3 narrow flights of stairs for us and brought them down for us when we checked out. The beautiful garden out the back is perfect for an afternoon drink. There is a small bar at the hotel which is great for a relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast is served in a buffet style. It is small in selection of items but everything on it is high quality (small producer yoghurt, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, freshly baked quiche and the pastries, coffee as you like it on demand, or tea if you prefer). The hotel is located very close to the Jordaan area, which is our favourite part of the city. It's full of excellent cafes and boutiques and has a far more local vibe to it than anything up around the touristy Dam Square area. The only negative that stops me giving a 5 star review is that the air conditioning struggles in Summer. I get it, the hotel is a very old traditional canal house that was not built for air conditioning. It is installed but really struggled to cool our room, especially with the beautiful big windows facing the morning sun. It's not going to stop us returning here as our favourite Amsterdam hotel though (just not from June - August). Other notable things to consider: The hotel is a five minute walk to Ann Frank's House. Yes, it's a 30 minute walk to the Rikjs Museum and Van Gogh Museum. We Ubered there very easily instead of walking. Dam Square is Tourist Central and a bit tacky. It's a 15 min walk away if you want to get there. I generally avoid that area. I prefer the genuine local character around Jordaan. Try Kessens for lunch/brunch. It's an excellent cafe 10 minutes walk away. Pesca is also excellent if you like a fish restaurant with a fun vibe (it's a 15 minute walk).

Sentite il processo ben progettato di questo hotel che può rendere il vostro soggiorno un incubo. Io e la mia famiglia sono venuti ad Amsterdam per una breve vacanza nel luglio, non per la prima volta, quindi so cosa aspettare in termini di standard hotel, ecc. Mia moglie e mia figlia sono venute un giorno prima di me, e una volta arrivati all'hotel e entrati nella stanza, si rendevano conto che era così caldo e umido, che non c'era alcuna possibilità di rimanere lì (soprattutto se si dovesse avere una pressione alta o qualsiasi tipo di cuore/salute) Certo, hanno chiesto al desk di trovare qualsiasi soluzione, ma non c'era alcuna intenzione di risolvere questo, come è mai stato (sono stati offerti un fan). L'unica opzione che avevano lasciato era prenotare un altro hotel vicino e andarsene non appena possibile - è quanto le condizioni erano cattive. Con tutti i nostri argomenti, l'hotel non aveva l'intenzione di offrire rimborsi, buoni, sconti o qualsiasi altro simbolo di apprezzamento o complimentazione. Ciò che è diventato evidente dopo, è che si tratta di un processo deliberato, pianificato in anticipo - l'hotel invia un messaggio di posta elettronica ”nessuna condizione d'aria” solo 1 o 2 giorni prima del termine di cancellazione per essere formalmente corretto e hanno ”pronto” risposte.Mentre stavo cercando di risolvere il problema il giorno dopo, ho assistito a una giovane coppia con un bambino 6-month dalla Virginia occidentale che doveva controllare un giorno prima per lo stesso motivo, e un altro ospite si preoccupava del calore e cercava di capire queste condizioni tramite una chiamata telefonica - ma l'agente del desktop ”rilasciato” lui a prenotare, senza voler avvertire sulle condizioni inumani. Insieme, non solo un orribile hotel, ma anche un caso di processo, chiaramente deliberatamente sbagliato, che rappresenta un rischio per la salute.
